Scammers are circulating fake “account verification” messages through comments, often claiming your art has been sold. This is a phishing scam. DeviantArt will never contact you through comments, off-site, or on Discord to ask for account verification or any kind of payment action. Our team is on it, but if you see one of these messages, please report it and do not click any links. Read our help center article to learn how to spot scams like this, and stay safe out there.
UPDATE (July 1, 2026): These issues have been resolved and push notifications on the web app are up and running. For push notifications to re-enable, simply visit the site once on your device while logged in. Thank you for your patience!
