CMD+CTRL Security won the following awards from Cyber Defense Magazine (CDM), the industry’s leading electronic information security magazine: Most Innovative Cybersecurity Training and Pioneering Secure Coding: Developer Upskilling.

This marks the second consecutive year CMD+CTRL Security has been recognized by the Global InfoSec Awards. At RSA Conference 2025, the company received two honors from Cyber Defense Magazine, a leading voice in the cybersecurity industry, including Market Innovator” in cybersecurity training and “Hot Company in Secure Coding: Developer Upskilling.”

“These awards reflect a pivotal shift in how organizations must approach cybersecurity, starting with the developers building today’s applications,” said Jeff Emig, CEO of CMD+CTRL Security. “As threats evolve alongside rapid innovation, security can no longer be treated as an afterthought. Organizations that invest in immersive, real-world training will be the ones that stay ahead, embedding resilience directly into their code and dramatically reducing risk at scale.”

“CMD+CTRL Security embodies three major features we judges look for to become winners: understanding tomorrow’s threats, today, providing a cost-effective solution, and innovating in unexpected ways that can help mitigate cyber risk and get one step ahead of the next breach,” said Gary S. Miliefsky, Publisher of Cyber Defense Magazine.
