1) Soumitra Sarkar, Patagonia: We spent almost a month in Patagonia, Argentina and did some hiking among other activities. One of the highlights of our trip was hiking on the Perito Moreno Glacier in the Los Glacieres National Park. This photo was taken from the boat that took us to the base of the glacier, from where we started our hike. Even though it was January (summer in the Southern hemisphere) it was bitterly cold and snowing as we approached, which made it even more exciting. 🔸 2) Gordon Berger, Bhutan: Scenery, history, the people, and this rain moon. I saw it, snapped a photo, and it had vanished for the evening by the time I put the camera down to look. 🔸

Jon Dickens, Europe: My girlfriend Gina and I visited Europe for the first time and discovered why it beckons so many to visit there, especially Paris and Italy. The Eiffel Tower was Gina’s dream to see and I captured her joy in front of the Olympic rings with the Tower in the background, and between the straws of an Aperol Spritz at a cafe near the Trevi Fountain. So much beautiful architecture in those countries, including the spiral staircase in the Vatican Museum.🔸

Tommy Vinh Bui, Antarctica: I fancy myself an international marathoner and toeing the line of the Antarctica Marathon was a bucket list race I was all but too eager to finally scrawl off the itinerary. It was a blustery and frigid twenty-six miles but spill over that finish line somehow, I did. And I couldn’t think of a better way to properly celebrate post-race than a head-over-heels polar plunge into the murky Celsius below. Bracing indeed!🔸

Kammie James, Gobi Desert, Mongolia: “This little girl, like most of the children I met, was joyful, friendly and very inquisitive! She had a young camel who was as friendly and curious, and we had a great time taking “selfies” of the three of us.” 🔸
