#1 Best in KLAS Enterprise-grade Ambient AI. Powering Intelligence at the Point of Conversation.

About us

Abridge was founded in 2018 with the mission of powering deeper understanding in healthcare. Our Best in KLAS AI-powered platform was purpose-built for medical conversations, improving clinical documentation efficiencies while enabling clinicians to focus on what matters most—their patients. Our enterprise-grade technology transforms patient-clinician conversations into structured clinical notes in real-time, with deep EMR integrations. Powered by Linked Evidence and our purpose-built, auditable AI, we are the only company that maps AI-generated summaries to ground truth, helping providers quickly trust and verify the output. As pioneers in generative AI for healthcare, we are setting the industry standards for the responsible deployment of AI across health systems.

𝗘𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. For too long, clinical evidence has lived apart from the conversation: in separate tabs, separate systems, and separate moments in time. Abridge is changing that. Knowledge without context is just material. Abridge is connecting the two—drawing on the patient conversation, the history, the clinical moment. To surface what matters, right when it's needed. This is what it looks like when evidence becomes truly context-aware: https://lnkd.in/eBswEZmW

Honored to present at the Michigan Health & Hospital Association (MHA) today alongside CNOs from across Michigan. Our team was the second nursing unit in the country to pilot Abridge and I mean it when I call them true pioneers. I think about the dot-com boom. Imagine being one of the first businesses to have a website. That’s where we are right now with ambient AI in nursing. What excites me most isn’t the technology it’s what it gives back. Less time clicking countless boxes documenting and more time connecting with patients. In 25 years when I hang it up (hopefully sooner 😄), I want to look back on this as the moment nursing / healthcare changed for the better. The paradigm shift that we desperately needed. Proud of my team. This is just the beginning. Thank you Amy Brown and Michigan Health & Hospital Association for allowing me to share. Thank You Jill Sheipline MSHI, BSN, RN Kelli Sadler, MHA, BSN, RN for allowing us to be early adopters and your support! Photo cred to Gillian Anderson (you missed my good side 😉) #NursingLeadership #AmbientAI #HealthcareInnovation #FutureOfNursing #PatientExperience #MHA #MichiganHealthcare #Abridge

  • 📈 𝗪𝗩𝗨 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 At WVU Medicine, rising documentation burden led to the deployment of Abridge’s enterprise-grade platform for clinical conversations across 25 hospitals and hundreds of outpatient and acute care locations. The objective: reduce administrative load and return time and attention to patient care. Rapid adoption spread across specialties driven by clinician-to-clinician advocacy, transforming an initial pilot into one of the health system’s most widely embraced technology initiatives. We asked our builders what it's like to build and innovate at Abridge. "It feels like the beginning of the internet." "It's love for software that I have never seen." This is who builds at Abridge. Scientists, engineers, researchers, and product builders who choose to tackle hard problems over easy ones. We're an AI-first team doing groundbreaking work on some of the deepest workflow challenges in healthcare. We chose Abridge because nobody else is tackling these challenges the same way. If this sounds interesting, we're hiring across ML, engineering, research, design, and product!

  • 🏆 Abridge named #3 in the Al category on Fast Company's 2026 Most Innovative Companies list—alongside Google and Anthropic. Hartford HealthCare CEO Jeffrey Flaks sees this moment in healthcare as something rare. After deploying Abridge’s enterprise-grade AI platform, Hartford clinicians are experiencing a fundamentally different kind of clinical encounter—one where technology helps restore time, attention, and connection between clinicians and patients. “What’s occurring with AI… is making healthcare more human,” Flaks said. A perspective from one of the nation’s leading health system CEOs and a signal of how quickly the clinical experience is evolving. Read more in Becker’s: https://lnkd.in/ecRPYRSf

  • 🌟 𝗛𝗜𝗠𝗦𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: AI as enterprise infrastructure is no longer a vision. It's table stakes. Abridge took the stage twice last week, but the conversations happening in the hallways were just as telling as the ones in the spotlight. Here's what stood out: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. Health systems are no longer evaluating AI tools in isolation, looking instead to deploy true enterprise infrastructure: threading intelligence across care settings, workflows, and the full patient journey. 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Panelists from Highmark Health, Akron Children's, and University of Utah Health shared a common insight: ambient AI works when it first builds trust with clinicians. That trust unlocks everything that comes next. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁-𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. Prior auth surfaced in the exam room. CDI nudges embedded in documentation. Clinical trials reaching patients sooner. Intelligence that shows up at the right moment, with the right context, for the right clinician. 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆. Eliminating errors, redundancy, and repetitive tasks. Clinicians gaining 30 minutes to an hour each day. Physicians once considering leaving their practice, now staying. The ROI of ambient AI goes well beyond the financials. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗛𝗜𝗠𝗦𝗦: Health systems defining the next era of care are the ones treating intelligence as enterprise infrastructure.
