📅 October 7 🕔 5 p.m. PT 📍 San Francisco, CA Join us Wednesday evening to explore a fundamental decision for AI builders: closed, open, or proprietary models? Crusoe's SVP of Product Management Erwan Menard will sit down with the founders of Ollama and Trajectory to explore how each path trades off cost, control, performance, and speed to ship. Come connect with teams making decisions around training and inference, architectural choices, and strategic bets. Space at our Crusoe AI Talks series is limited to ensure a quality experience. A generalist model can read the internet. It hasn’t seen your factory floor. Most valuable computer vision use cases sit in the long tail. Whether a part is seated correctly in an engine compartment is something only that manufacturer has ever seen, and that data can't be scraped. So Roboflow lets customers run their own models on Crusoe Cloud: → 69,000+ fine-tuned vision models live at any given time, bin-packed onto shared GPUs as users come and go, out of 300,000+ served overall 🤯 → Hundreds of millions of requests a month at ~50 ms median latency → No egress fees when data moves between clouds 🗣️ "There are a lot of providers selling GPUs out there, but ultimately the GPU is most useful when it's backed by reliable infrastructure… the network fabric is very performant, and we're able to pump a lot of gigabits on a constant basis." Sachin Agarwal, ML Infrastructure & Security Engineering Lead, Roboflow Roboflow has run on Crusoe Managed Kubernetes with NVIDIA Quantum InfiniBand since day one. That freed their team from maintaining GPU clusters so they could build their serverless inference platform instead. Read the case study → https://lnkd.in/eYCme2gQ

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth at AI Infra Summit in Santa Clara last week! Crusoe leaders were in action throughout the summit, contributing to conversations on some of the biggest issues facing AI infrastructure builders today. A few highlights: 🎤 SVP of Product Management Erwan Menard sat down with Microsoft's Donald Thompson for a conversation on industry leadership strategies 🎤 Alongside leaders from Agility Robotics, Nebius and YCE, Crusoe Director of Technical Product Marketing Michael Yen-Chi Ho joined Women in AI Club's panel “Who’s Cutting the Cost of AI?” to share how our full-stack ownership, from energy to silicon to managed AI services, cuts cost and keeps performance high across the AI model lifecycle, helping customers build strong AI systems 🎤 Chief Data Center Officer Chris Dolan discussed operating data centers with non-utility power in conversation with Dynamix Corporation's Andrejka Bernatova 🎤 Senior Electrical Engineer Sharmila Bokka joined panelists from Google, Lambda and Open Compute Project Foundation for a deep-dive into open collaboration Thanks to everyone who made the week a success. We were truly grateful for the opportunity to share our work with the community and left feeling more inspired than ever to keep building the next generation of cloud infrastructure.

24 hours. 350 builders, product developers, and engineers. What can you build in a single day? Today, on Day Zero of The AI Conference, Crusoe is sponsoring an all-day hackathon in SF. The challenge behind Hack Day is simple: take an idea from zero to a working product in just one day. The winning team will take the conference's main stage tomorrow to pitch a panel of top venture capitalists. We’ll be here all day. Come meet the Crusoe for Developers team and let’s build. Space is limited. Register: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/ga6Ei9TQ

Crusoe was founded on a simple idea: bring compute where energy already exists, not the other way around. Today, large swaths of wind and solar generation are curtailed deliberately throttled back — because it's produced far from demand. Our approach solves that: co-locating AI infrastructure directly at generation sites turns stranded power into productive capacity, and gives developers a commercial reason to repower and expand. We call it "across the meter": AI factories that draw power when they need it, and give surplus back to the grid when they don't — an asset to grid reliability, not a burden on it. Our co-founder and CEO Chase Lochmiller sat down with The Atlantic's Charlie Warzel to talk about how, and why, Crusoe is building AI infrastructure differently. A few things he shared: the water usage narrative doesn't hold up. At our Stargate campus in Abilene, Texas, each building uses about as much water as 10 single-family homes since GPU cooling runs in a closed loop. On the economic side, Crusoe will contribute more than a third of combined city and county tax revenue in Abilene, and in Armstrong County, one of only three Texas counties with zero oil and gas revenue, our investment is more than doubling tax receipts while catalyzing new wind, solar, and battery capacity. Chase also previewed our next move: smaller, modular data centers that ship on a flatbed truck and deploy wherever power already exists, cutting years off timelines and easing construction impact on host communities.
