The value of AI isn’t making a decision for you. It’s surfacing the signals you may not have had time to connect, helping you understand what needs attention and bringing better context to the calls that require human judgment.

A "high risk" rating on a vendor tells you to worry. It doesn't tell you what to do, or why the score landed where it did. Most compliance teams can already sort vendors into low, medium and high. The harder question is the one the board actually asks: which factor drove the rating, is that normal for a vendor like this and what did you do about it. Third-Party Risk Intel attaches the reasoning and the evidence to every vendor file, so a "high" becomes a decision you can defend instead of a color you have to explain. It's also one more signal that stops sitting on its own, which is the whole idea behind connected compliance. → https://bit.ly/4iRGODN

  • ⚖️ A general counsel and a compliance leader can be looking at the same business and still make decisions from different signals. For lean teams, the opportunity is connecting the context around legal and compliance so both can understand what it matters in context, see risk earlier and make better decisions. Amanda Carty on why shared context matters when the stakes are high and how AI can help.

Over 200 people packed our session at #GartnerERAC in London yesterday. 🇬🇧 They came for the question every risk and audit team is chewing on right now, and Scott Bridgen and Osama M. Abbas took it head-on. Everyone's been handed an AI assistant and told it was an agent, so what people really want to know is whether it does the work or just answers and stops. Today the conversation kept going. Scott and Bram Ketting ran a roundtable on responsible AI. And across town at the Chartered IIA Internal Audit Conference, Greig Allen spoke to a packed room of internal auditors on the same theme. The same three points kept surfacing: 1. Governance tends to arrive after adoption, not before. 2. Blanket restrictions just push people toward shadow AI, so clear guardrails beat hard bans. 3. And for every agent doing the work, people wanted a second one keeping watch, with a human holding the final call. Thanks to everyone who filled those rooms. 🙌

  • 🔍 The SEC clawed back a record $8.2 billion last year, and barely any of it came from dramatic fraud. It was mostly small stuff nobody joined up. A missed filing or a conflict no one flagged. That's what fragmented data does and it's the thing we're trying to kill. One view and those gaps have nowhere to hide. Amanda Carty on why the quiet gaps are the real risk.

  • 📈 A CEO change costs far more than the incoming CEO's package. New Diligent Market Intelligence data puts median granted S&P 500 CEO pay past $18 million in 2025, with sign-on bonuses at a six-year high. But once a new chief is named, the rest of the senior team turns into a retention bill that can run into the tens of millions, and with turnover accelerating, boards are footing it more often. • Lean compliance teams already have signals everywhere. The challenge is interpreting all of it fast enough to know what needs attention. That’s where compliance intelligence changes the equation: connecting signals across fragmented data sets, surfacing what matters and helping teams focus their judgment where it has the most impact. Amanda Carty on the shift every compliance leader is feeling right now and the intelligence teams need.

  • Most compliance functions run conflicts, training, policy and speak up as separate programs. The trouble is, the signal that could catch something early is often split across all four, and connecting the dots isn’t anyone’s job. Diligent Compliance AI reconnects the data across fragmented systems, surfaces patterns, and recommends action to strengthen the ethics and compliance program. Today we're opening access to a small group of innovative compliance leaders through the Early Adopter Program. If your program generates more signals than your team can realistically interpret together, this is for you. Request an invite: https://bit.ly/4yWIbpl
