United Way of Metro Chicago and the Robert R. McCormick Foundation are proud to announce a $1 million investment in Erie Neighborhood House’s new community hub at 27th and Kildare from the United Way-McCormick Partnership for Strong Neighborhoods, in collaboration with BMO. 🎉 This five-story, 22,000-square-foot building will bring essential services together under one roof, from youth literacy and after-school enrichment to adult education, workforce development, mental health and wellness support, and legal services. The hub will strengthen pathways to learning, employment, health, and stability for Little Village families, effectively doubling Erie’s program capacity from approximately 4,000 to 8,000 residents annually. 👥 This project advances United Way’s long-term investment in Little Village through the Neighborhood Network, alongside co-Community Quarterbacks Latinos Progresando and Enlace Chicago. Together, we are supporting community-led solutions, strengthening neighborhood infrastructure, and helping unlock additional public and philanthropic investment. 🤝🏾 We are grateful to Erie Neighborhood House, BMO U.S., the Robert R. This week, our $100 is heading to Erie Neighborhood House, an awesome Chicago organization providing immigrant and low-income families with the resources and support they need to thrive. Education, legal services, workforce development, family support—they’re out there doing the kind of work that makes Chicago stronger, one family at a time. 💪❤️ We move couches.
