Originally from Alabama, Kasha's career journey has been one of resilience, growth, and a strong work ethic. As a Class A CDL holder, her experience behind the wheel opened the door to more opportunities in the transportation and logistics industry. Along the way, she developed a passion for not just driving, but for mentoring, teaching, and supporting others. Ensuring every driver feels informed, supported, and confident before they hit the road, she shared, "Knowing I play a role in helping drivers start strong makes my job incredibly rewarding." Combining her driving experience, leadership skills, and passion for helping others, Kasha shared, "As a woman in trucking and logistics, I also hope to make a broader impact through representation. I want women, especially women from all walks of life, to see that there is space for us in this industry to lead, grow, and thrive." This Women's History Month, we are delighted to feature Brittany Boring, a vital member of Forward's safety team. Brittany's forward thinking and passion to help leads the team to a safter, more successful career! Brittany started her career on our Truck Load Services Dispatch team in 2017 but has grown up with Forward through her family. From visiting her father at work, to shadowing her sister for a high school project, she knew a career at Forward was in her future. In 2020, Brittany moved into a new role as a Safety Supervisor of our Log Department, where she provides guidance to drivers and helps ensure their records remain accurate and compliant. "I am hoping that with my passion to help and forward thinking, we can start to change the minds of drivers about safety. We are a team, and what affects them affects us too. We want to work with them to make us all better, safer and more successful!" Jessica Allison, Fleet Recruiter (Ground Division) Jessica, a Fleet Recruiter based in Columbus, Ohio, brings resilience and purpose to her work at Forward. With more than two years on the team, she thrives in the world of driver recruiting by building genuine relationships and helping them find the right opportunities within our growing network. Jessica is driven by a deep commitment to service and by her three children who inspire everything she does. Her personal journey is a powerful testament to strength. Growing up in the foster care system shaped her perspective and built the empathy she carries into her role today. That same experience moved her to create Learning 4 Life, an afterschool program that provides children with support and a safe place to grow. What began as a passion project has evolved into a lifeline for families who need it most. An extension of Jessica’s belief, giving back and creating the kind of support she once needed herself is just one powerful example of how she supports and uplifts women around her. Jessica stays rooted through community involvement and is inspired by women who lead boldly, especially Beyoncé, whose discipline and self-ownership motivate her. Her advice to other women: “Use your voice. Don’t be afraid to be different.
