    Frontera Hotel Group is proud to announce that one of our capital partners has completed the acquisition of the Courtyard by Marriott Dallas Addison/Midway — our second management assignment with Marriott Hotels this year, following the TownePlace Suites Houston Hobby Airport acquisition in February. Addison continues to be one of the most dynamic growth markets in North Texas. The town's $240M Addison Junction mixed-use development is set to break ground this fall alongside the DART Silver Line, which now connects the area to more than 200,000 jobs within a half-mile of its stations. And just a short drive down the Dallas North Tollway/LBJ Freeway corridor from our hotel, the Dallas Mavericks are moving forward on their new arena and entertainment district at the former Valley View Mall site — one of the largest sports developments in North Texas history. Combine that with Addison's existing draw — Galleria Dallas, Addison Circle, and a dense corporate base — this submarket is positioned for real, sustained demand growth for years to come.     Proud to share that Frontera Hotel Group has successfully closed on the lender-driven sale of the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Houston Hobby Airport. This marks our first hotel purchase and management assignment in the Houston MSA, and an important milestone in Frontera’s continued growth. We’re especially excited about the Hobby Airport submarket, where we see strong fundamentals and meaningful upside heading into 2026, driven by resilient demand, limited new supply, and continued air traffic growth. This is exactly the type of opportunity where hands-on asset management and operational focus can unlock value. Equally meaningful for us—this transaction marks our return to the Marriott International family after four years. We’re thrilled to be re-engaging with a franchise we know well and respect deeply, and we look forward to executing at a high level on this asset.     I’m pleased to share some exciting news with you about our company. Kunal Bhakta has joined Frontera Hotel Group as our Vice President of Operations. Kunal brings an impressive background in hotel operations across Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, and IHG brands. Most recently, he served with Rainesco, overseeing a portfolio of Marriott hotels. Prior to that, during his five years with Aimbridge Hospitality, he managed a diverse group of hotels generating more than $250 million in annual revenue. Kunal is a smart, tech-savvy, and respected leader—a calm, rational, and transparent professional who inspires confidence and collaboration at every level.
