Updates

  • There was a lot happening across Team General Mills this month. 💙 We welcomed partners from more than 20 countries to Minneapolis for our Global Strategic Distributors’ Conference, while our North America Pet and Fera Pets teams showcased innovation and connected with customers and partners at SUPERZOO. Our people also made time to give back and celebrate – volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, gathering with colleagues, family and friends at JFB's annual picnic, and welcoming partners to Cascadian Farm's Home Farm to explore the brand’s roots in organic agriculture and the role of regenerative farming. And there was plenty of learning along the way, from emerging supply chain technology at the Plug & Play Selection Day to leadership development at the Frontline Leader Academy, where more than 120 manufacturing leaders came together to sharpen their skills. August showed the many ways our teams invest in what matters – our partnerships, our people and our communities. #MillsMonthlyMoments #GeneralMillsLife

  • We’re proud to share that all General Mills U.S. cereals are now made without certified colors, delivering on our summer 2026 commitment and building on our earlier milestone of removing certified colors from all K-12 school foods. This achievement reflects how we’re evolving with consumer preferences while continuing to offer great tasting, affordable food. We remain on track to remove certified colors from our full U.S. retail portfolio by the end of 2027. Learn more: https://bit.ly/4wMUKly

As the leader of our Administrative Services Team, Lyz and her team step in wherever support is needed, solving problems, finding better ways of working and creating remarkable experiences for employees and leaders. From hiring and onboarding to process improvements and unexpected challenges, no two days look the same. And when plans change? “PIVOT, PIVOT, PIVOT!” Get to know Lyz, her approach to tackling the unexpected and what keeps her laughing along the way.   #EmployeeSpotlight #HeartOfGeneralMills

  • The future of pet food was looking paw-some at SUPERZOO last week! Our North America Pet team was proud to showcase new products and innovation across our Blue Buffalo, Tiki Cat and Edgard & Cooper | B Corp brands, shaped by the changing needs and behaviors of pet parents. Our Fera Pets team also had great discussions with customers and partners about how our science-backed supplements support overall pet wellness. The energy and enthusiasm around these conversations reinforced the growth and opportunity ahead. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to learn more about our brands. We’re proud of the people behind them and the work they’re doing to help more pet parents love and feed pets like family. #GeneralMillsLife #SUPERZOO2026 #PetWellness

  • 30 years. A simple idea. Nearly 1 billion raised. When Box Tops for Education launched in 1996, supporting your school started with a pair of scissors and a General Mills cereal box. Since then, the program has evolved with the way families shop — from clipped Box Tops to digital receipt scanning and connected accounts — while staying rooted in the same mission of supporting schools. Today, as Box Tops celebrates its 30th anniversary, we’re looking back at the history, milestones and impact behind one of the nation’s longest-running school earnings programs. • Nature Valley didn’t just join a category — it created one. In 1975, the brand introduced the world’s first granola bar, sparking a 50-year legacy of fueling adventures. That commitment to the outdoors extends to our 15-year partnership with the National Park Foundation. This summer, we're celebrating that history by wrapping our bars in designs inspired by America's iconic national parks. • Powered by play. Created together. ⚽ We're proud to celebrate the opening of two new Safe Places to Play mini-pitches in Houston and San Antonio through Pillsbury's partnership with the U.S. Soccer Foundation. These accessible community spaces transform underused areas into places where kids can play, families can connect and neighborhoods can come together. Designed with ADA accessible features, lighting for extended play, benches and storage, these mini-pitches are built to help more children enjoy the game of soccer in a safe, welcoming environment. This initiative reflects Pillsbury's belief that "Time together is delicious," creating more opportunities for families to make meaningful memories on and off the field. We're honored to help bring these spaces to communities across Texas and celebrate the power of play to bring people together. #GStandsForGood #CommunityImpact #Soccer
