Thanks to a grant from the Duke Energy Foundation, Hendricks Live! is developing a brand-new theatrical production inspired by the rich history and remarkable people of Hendricks County. A couple weeks ago, we held our first table read where local actors and theatre professionals gathered to help bring playwright Celeste Williams' script to life under the direction of Marie Beason. Seeing this story begin to take shape with so many talented members of our community was an exciting reminder of the power of local storytelling. Special thanks to Hendricks County Community Foundation and Indiana Arts Commission for their partnership and support of this project. We're just getting started, and we can't wait to share more about this original production in the coming months. Stay tuned!
