Ludus

Four years in a row. Ludus made the Inc. 5000 again, and this year, we’re the #1 software company in Michigan. We also ranked #106 among software companies nationwide and #1,189 among all private companies on the list. Those numbers make us proud. But the better story is what made them possible. Today, more than 5,500 performing arts organizations trust Ludus with their ticketing, fundraising, concessions, marketing, and day-to-day box office work. Our team keeps listening, building, answering the phone, and showing up when it matters. Growth means more when it comes from doing right by the people you serve. To every Ludus customer and every member of our team who helped put us here: thank you. Inc. Magazine #Inc5000 #PerformingArts #TeamLudus

“When naming Ludus, we wanted to avoid names containing ‘Tix’ or ‘Tickets,’ because our vision was always bigger than ticketing,” says Ludus CEO Zachary Collins. “We aimed to represent the business and financial backbone of the performing arts industry without limiting ourselves by a name.” https://lnkd.in/gf3xDGHR

Sitting in on “Founder vs. Investor” at Tech Week Grand Rapids today. Having spent years building businesses, advising leadership teams on risk, and teaching entrepreneurial finance, you learn quickly that this relationship is part math, part psychology, and a healthy dose of matchmaking. The founder asks: “Can you see what this could become?” The investor asks: “Have you calculated what happens if it doesn’t?” The magic is when the two finally meet in the middle—turning big vision into calculated, protectable growth. Tremendous turnout and sharp perspectives on stage today. Grand Rapids continues to prove it’s one of the best places to build, fund, and scale. Are you team "Raise Early" or team "Bootstrap to Profitability"? #TechWeekGR #WestMichigan #Startups #AngelInvesting #BusinessStrategy #GrandRapidsTech
