  • It’s our birthday! Since 1889, McCormick has been making life more flavorful for everyone. This anniversary is a moment to celebrate the generations of employees who have helped build a company known for quality, innovation, and the Taste You Trust. As we honor our legacy and look ahead to the future, we do so with pride in our industry-leading flavor portfolio, and gratitude for the people who are dedicated to delivering extraordinary taste to every table – across restaurants and home kitchens.

  • What flavors are shaping the future of food? According to John Gaylon, Senior Research Chef, consumers continue to embrace flavors that feel both familiar and adventurous, from gochujang to distinctive regional profiles that bring global inspiration to everyday meals. It's another example of why staying ahead of flavor trends matters. McCormick's Flavor Forecast has identified many of these emerging tastes before they reached the mainstream, from flavors we see every day like chipotle (2003) and ube (2018), to the specialized flavors mentioned in this article, including za'atar (2015), berbere (2018), gochujang (2021) and tamarind (2024), helping customers and consumers navigate what's next in flavor. • For 137 years, McCormick has helped bring flavor to tables around the world. To celebrate our birthday, we asked our employees a simple but surprisingly difficult question: If you could only live with one McCormick product for the next 137 years, what would it be? Their answers did not disappoint. Here’s to 137 years of passion, innovation, and people who make life more flavorful. What would you choose? Whether you’re an employee, partner, or fan – join in on the celebration and let us know in the comments below!

  • As part of our Power of Giving campaign, McCormick employees all over the world have come together to take part in various volunteer initiatives in their local communities. In the UK, colleagues hit the water again this year for the Annual Dragon Boat Race, raising vital funds for Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice and supporting their incredible mission to provide compassionate palliative, neurological, and bereavement care to families during life's toughest moments. In China, McCormick employees partnered with Matchsticks Foundation, a non-profit project that connects rural teachers with the training and resources they need. McCormick representatives also engaged with educators at a teacher development camp in Shanghai, helping create lasting impact for students, families, and communities. At our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, employees partnered with the Oyster Recovery Partnership for a hands-on oyster cage-building volunteer event. These oysters will eventually be placed in the Chesapeake Bay, where they will help purify the water, provide habitat for marine life, and support a healthier local ecosystem.

  • In honor of International Day of Charity, we’re shining a spotlight on McCormick’s Global Power of Giving program, which helps our employees turn care into action in the communities where we live, work, and operate. Through the program, employees are empowered to support the causes they care about via matching gifts, volunteer time off, and other service opportunities. This spirit of giving is reflected across our global workforce, with more than 8,700 colleagues across 50+ locations recording participation in charitable giving activities in 2025 alone. Giving and volunteerism have long been part of McCormick’s culture, dating back to the charitable efforts of Charles Perry McCormick, one of the company’s early leaders, in 1889. Today, that legacy continues through our collective efforts to expand access to nutritious meals, community health programs, and essential services for vulnerable populations. Thank you to all McCormick employees who continue to make life more flavorful for everyone by making a meaningful difference in the communities we call home.

  • Last weekend, we had a great turn out of employees, family, and friends at Camden Yards, home of the Baltimore Orioles, for our annual McCormick Family Fun Day. It was a memorable, sunshine-filled celebration to mark the end of summer. CEO Brendan Foley, CHRO Sarah Piper, and Interim President, Americas K. Patrick Davis welcomed attendees as they received orange light-up leis to help kick off the festivities. CSO Anju Rao and CMO Tabata Gomez also joined the fun! Take a look at some highlights from the day- featuring OLD BAY Seasoning mascots, face painting, balloon creations, and iconic ballpark fare.
