National Geographic Society reposted this
One of the most powerful things we do at the National Geographic Society is tell stories that change how people see the natural world. And we’re grateful to have dedicated partners who care just as deeply as us about sharing these stories in impactful new ways. National Geographic’s latest documentary series “Africa: Earth’s Wild Home” is a fantastic example. A collaboration between the Society and our longtime partners at ROLEX and Disney, the seven-part series took almost four years to film and documents incredible landscapes and wildlife from nearly 30 countries across the continent. Featuring our #NatGeoExplorers, the series inspires us to think like them: to look closer, learn more and care more deeply. This week, we came together with our partners in London for the series’ official premiere. Thank you to Courteney Monroe, Jean-Frédéric Dufour, Explorers Dr. Gladys Kalema-Zikusoka and Dr. Steve Boyes, fellow members of our global Explorer community and everyone who joined us to make the night a success. “Africa: Earth’s Wild Home” is the beginning of an audacious storytelling series that will travel to all seven continents over the coming years, highlighting our Explorers’ work. I cannot wait for everyone to see it. The series airs on Friday and will stream on Disney+ and Hulu this weekend!
