NU is excited to highlight the addition of Caitlin Maloof, Jessica Johnson, and Alan Mait as Partners. Each strengthens our ability to deliver at the highest level across sectors and functions and reflects our focus on building a world-class team all united around our AI-native approach to search. As Nada Usina, CEO and Co-Founder of NU, shared, “We’re bringing together an exceptional group of partners who chose NU because of an AI-native approach that’s truly differentiating and a shared commitment to delivering a more modern, effective search experience for clients, candidates, and consultants.” Thank you to Scott A. Scanlon, Dale Zupsansky, and the broader Hunt Scanlon Media team for the feature. https://lnkd.in/gSV5PGs5 #AI #ExecutiveSearch #NU #NUAdvisoryPartners #Leadership #PrivateCapital #Talent #LeadershipHiring #Healthcare #LifeSciences #GTM

Specialist operating partner roles aren’t new, but rising expectations around value creation have pushed private equity further toward functional depth. One profile rising to the top is the finance and FP&A-focused operating partner. These leaders sit at the center of diligence, execution, and exit readiness across a portfolio. Scroll for our breakdown of the role and how it's used across leading funds. #AI #ExecutiveSearch #NU #NUAdvisoryPartners #Leadership #PrivateEquity #ValueCreation #OperatingPartners

“As the leading executive search firm using AI across nearly every aspect of their work, NU is uniquely positioned to help teams harness AI's potential.” While investors are following AI closely, many haven’t operationalized it across their day-to-day work. To fill that gap, we lead Practical AI sessions, enabling PE and VC firms to optimize their diligence, decision-making, and portfolio support. Thank you to Josipa Majic Predin and the Forbes team for featuring our work alongside these leading academic institutions. Especially meaningful as an only three-year-old firm and the only non-academic organization included. https://lnkd.in/ejKbynYg #AI #ExecutiveSearch #NU #NUAdvisoryPartners #Leadership #PrivateEquity #VentureCapital #HumanInTheLoop #AIGovernance #FutureOfWork

There’s nothing like getting together as a team! NU gathered in Las Vegas last week for some focused time. It was high energy throughout, with an emphasis on hands-on learning around AI and tech, all grounded in real search scenarios and how we work day to day. We also made plenty of time for team dinners and a night out at Cirque du Soleil. It was a fitting way to celebrate our three-year anniversary as a firm! We’re just getting started. #AI #ExecutiveSearch #NU #NUAdvisoryPartners #Leadership #Innovation #TeamBuilding #LasVegas #Vegas #VegasOffsite #VegasLife

Happy 3rd aNUversary! Three years ago, we took a clear stance - Executive search needed a fundamental reinvention, not incremental change. We believed an AI-native model could outperform legacy firms: faster, smarter, more precise without losing the judgment and trust that matter. Some doubted it. Some hoped it wouldn’t work. Three years in, the results are clear. We’ve partnered with leading companies and boards to place transformational leaders. We’ve built a model that scales quality, not just activity. We’ve proven AI is a force multiplier, not a threat. And we’re still early. The gap between what’s possible and what’s standard is massive and we’re just getting started. To those who backed and built with us, thank you. To those standing still, look out. 3 years in. Hard to ignore. Healthcare and life sciences entered 2026 with a different tone than the last few years. Capital is starting to move. Consolidation is picking up. But expectations are higher and investor patience is lower. From our work with PE investors, growth funds, boards, and executive teams, several themes are emerging across the sector. Companies have largely stabilized operations, and attention is shifting to value creation, disciplined growth, and navigating a more complex market environment. In our latest piece, NU’s Jessica Johnson breaks down the market dynamics shaping healthcare and life sciences in 2026. https://lnkd.in/eJ3YJKxg #AI #ExecutiveSearch #NU #NUAdvisoryPartners #Leadership #Healthcare #LifeSciences #PrivateEquity #ValueCreation

Rapid growth. Real impact. Alongside GSV Ventures, we’re proud to highlight the companies in the 2026 GSV 150 shaping the next era of workforce learning. Workforce learning is one of the clearest growth engines in edtech right now. As AI and automation reshape roles across every industry, the urgency to reskill and upskill the workforce is accelerating fast. The companies on this market map are rising to that moment. They are building solutions that drive measurable outcomes, link learning directly to employability, and help organizations develop the talent they need to stay competitive. At NU, we work closely with many of these organizations, helping recruit the leaders who turn learning investments into real career mobility and business impact. And with the 2026 GSV 150 front and center at ASU+GSV Summit in April, NU is looking forward to connecting in-person. If you’ll be there, we’d love to connect. 360Learning, Absorb Software, Articulate, Ascend Learning, Axonify, BetterUp, Cambly Inc., Cornerstone OnDemand, Cursor, D2L, Degreed, Docebo, Domestika, Eightfold AI, Emeritus, Glean, Gloat, Gong, Grammarly, Guild, HeyGen, InStride, Intellipaat, Kaplan, KnowBe4, LearnUpon, Lightcast, Liulishuo, Mindtickle, Multiverse, Open English, Prometric, Replit, Scaler, Simplilearn, Skillable, Speak, Speechify Additional workforce learning GSV 150 companies are tagged in the comments. #AI #ExecutiveSearch #NU #NUAdvisoryPartners #Leadership #EdTech #WorkforceLearning #FutureOfWork #DigitalLearning #TalentStrategy #HumanCapital #GrowthCompanies #Innovation #LearningTechnology #ASUGSVSummit #ASUGSV

NU’s Co-Founder Meredith Rosenberg recently sat down with Matthew Tower from Whiteboard Advisors to discuss how CEO transitions have compressed, what it now takes to establish credibility and momentum early on, and how NU partners closely with incoming CEOs before and after they step into the role. 100 days is no longer enough time for a new CEO to find their footing. According to NU Advisory Partners' Meredith Rosenberg, the clock starts before they even accept the job. I sat down with Meredith recently to talk about the future of hiring, and her perspective on CEO transitions stuck with me. The pressure on incoming leaders has intensified — investors and board members expect results faster than ever, which means CEOs need to be gathering signals on the business and building credibility with their team in their first few weeks, not months. This puts enormous pressure on the people helping make these hires to get it right. Meredith's approach extends beyond what how many people define recruiting. Rather than just finding the right name, she gets to know the businesses she works with firsthand. She connects her incoming CEOs with peers and mentors that she thinks will help them succeed. And she stays engaged with the CEO long after they start on the job. It's the difference between placing someone in a role and actually setting them up to succeed. This way of working is hard to pull off! It takes industry context, a deep bench of relationships to call on, and a lot of in-the-weeds work. But Meredith has a long list of happy CEOs to point to that shows that her care and persistence pays off. Thanks for the conversation, Meredith!
