One thing I believe: good advertising should work for everyone, not just the biggest companies with the biggest teams and budgets behind them. Entrepreneurs and growing brands should be able to get their content in front of the right people. That's the thinking behind Promote a Pin, a new feature launched today that makes it easy for creators, small businesses, and everyday users to boost their content on Pinterest with just a few taps. Select a Pin, boost it, and reach a wider audience. It’s simple by design, but the opportunity here is significant. From entrepreneurs to global brands, we're working to ensure promotion is accessible to businesses and creators of every size. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eKY3Ydpt

As both a CEO and a parent, I believe we need to be honest: social media as it exists today is not safe for kids under 16. That’s why I wrote in TIME about Australia’s social media ban - and why I believe this debate should push our industry to raise the bar on teen safety and well-being. At Pinterest, we’ve seen that protecting young people and building a strong business are not at odds. They can and should go together. We need clearer rules, better tools for parents, and more accountability across the tech ecosystem. You can read the full piece here: https://lnkd.in/gyAAUESe

Impact doesn’t happen in a silo. Pinterest shows up in communities around the world to support youth mental health. We partner locally, elevate youth voices, and invest through the Pinterest Impact Fund to turn momentum into durable systems change, co-creating with trusted partners to support youth wellbeing online and offline. The UNICEF-led Global Coalition for Youth Mental Health’s 2025 report (https://lnkd.in/gnkTx-jd) underscores why this local-to-global approach matters, and reflects how collective action can help turn youth mental health from awareness into action. Some highlights of how Pinterest engaged as a Coalition Member last year: 🇨🇭 Zurich: Coalition convening brought members together to align on bold next steps and elevate youth voice. (Yes, we played with Legos!) 🇬🇧 London: I joined a panel at Coalition member Spotify's office. The event shared findings from the Gen Z perceptions report and we discussed the role that brands can play in supporting youth mental health. 🇲🇽 Mexico City: Hosted partners at Pinterest’s beautiful CDMX office for a deep dive on Mexico-specific insights and cross-sector solutions. 🇺🇸 New York: UNGA Week touch points with UNICEF and Coalition members kept youth mental health on the global agenda. Across these moments, one throughline is clear: center young people, expand access to support, and raise the bar on wellbeing in this digital age. Looking forward to what we'll accomplish in 2026. #YouthMentalHealth #UNICEF #GenZ #PinterestImpactFund #CollectiveAction

In: personal expression, cozy upgrades, tiny rituals that make life better. Out: performative perfection. Our Pinterest Spring Trend Report is a reminder that people don’t want to totally change their lives in 2026 - they want to make them feel better, more beautiful, and more personal. That’s just one of the reasons why Pinterest has such a strong read on what’s coming next. We’re not looking at fleeting chatter; we’re looking at the future plans of hundreds of millions of people who come to Pinterest to search, save, organize, and actually act on their ideas. The signals are personal, practical, and often ahead of the curve. One of my favorite signals in this report? The rise of the reading nook, which feels less like a trend and more like a collective plea for one cozy corner, one good lamp, and one uninterrupted chapter. As an avid reader, I fully support this movement. Now excuse me while I justify a new chair for my current book, a reread of Wuthering Heights, of course. See the full report for a first look at what’s next. https://lnkd.in/euJjJZst

You know your brand is cool if they write songs about it, right? It’s on every CMO’s vision board as an ultimate goal. And now it’s happening: we’re spotlighting global pop icon powerhouse Anitta as she steps onto the COLORSxSTUDIOS stage for the very first time to exclusively debut her new single, “Pinterest.” The track and performance are rooted in the role visual inspiration plays in her work and offer a sneak peek into her latest creative era, shaped in part by what she discovers on Pinterest. Pinterest has been a true resource for Anitta and her stylist, Daniel Ueda. They build boards and use visual search to explore concepts, shape performance looks, and bring a creative era to life on the COLORS stage - and you can see that journey reflected in the “Pinterest” music video. If you’re interested in how artists build worlds around their music, this is a beautiful example: https://lnkd.in/eyZ7EHJ3 Watch the full “Pinterest” performance here:

When we give, we gain. That was the ethos behind this year’s International Women’s Day: collaboration rooted in generosity, reciprocity and support. When we champion women, everyone benefits. With that spirit in mind, it was a privilege to collaborate with No. 10 Downing Street, where Pinterest helped celebrate some of the UK’s most inspiring women. Guests embraced our Pinterest Predicts ‘Pen Pals’ trend and wrote letters to women that inspired them. I was in awe of the campaigners, teachers, service personnel and public servants that I met alongside our female leadership in the UK, Beth Horn and Caroline Orange-Northey - women who break glass ceilings and move the impossible a little closer every day. Thank you to Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and Lady Victoria, for inviting us into your home, and to our London Pinterest team for a powerful conversation about allyship: where we discussed the importance of staying curious, supporting one another, and practicing resilience daily. Next up this month, I’m excited to join Pinterest’s annual The Women& Conference, alongside our intersectional and ally communities, where our Chief Marketing Officer, Claudine Cheever, will host an intimate fireside chat on leadership, brand and change. In that spirit, my advice - especially for women - is to get clear on what you want, set your sights on it, and not let others hold you back. If I’d listened to everyone who said I was aiming too high, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
