  • Most of us in mortgage are stuck in the middle. Same pitch, same posts, same everything. At our sales rally, Neel Dhingra made a simple case for getting out of it by building a brand people actually want to follow. Three things stuck with our team: ✅ Visibility beats ability. You can be the best in your market, but if you’re not showing up online, somebody else will. ✅ Have a point of view. Be known for something. Share your interests. ✅ It’s ok to be cringe. Everyone starts out awkward on camera. The sooner you start, the sooner you can build an audience. The room was fired up, and we’re not going back to blending in. 🔥 What’s one thing you could do this week to stand out from the middle? #PersonalBranding #MortgageMarketing #KeynoteSpeaker #SalesRally

  • Most loan officers have no idea what AI says about them. James Swift and Travis Newton taught a room full of loan officers how to show up in AI search results. People are using AI for recommendations. They open ChatGPT or Claude and ask, “Who’s a trusted loan officer near me?” The AI pulls from what it can find online: your reviews, your profiles, how people describe working with you, and how consistently that shows up across the web. If your reviews are thin, outdated, or scattered, the AI has little to work with. It won’t mention you, and you’ll never know you were left out of the conversation. This isn’t just a mortgage thing. Hair stylists, mechanics, doctors: every local service professional is being “searched” this way now. Every review is a data point. Every detailed, specific review (“James walked us through every step as first-time buyers and closed on time”) tells both humans and AI exactly who you help and how you do it. The good news is that you can get ahead of this without a big overhaul. James and Travis showed the room how to show up in AI search results with about 30 minutes a week: → Ask for reviews consistently, not just when you remember → Respond to the reviews you already have → Keep your profiles accurate and consistent everywhere you appear → Encourage clients to be specific about their experience Thirty minutes a week. That’s less time than most of us spend scrolling. The loan officers who treat their reviews as an asset now will be the ones AI recommends later. Are you checking what AI says when someone asks about you? Try it right now. The answer might surprise you. #MortgageLoanOfficer #ReputationManagement #AISearch #LoanOfficers #MortgageMarketing

  • Time is your gold. Jonathan "JJ" Jerotz broke this down on stage at our sales rally in Chicago. Every loan officer knows the feeling. The pipeline is full, the inbox is overflowing, and the day is gone before you've had a real conversation with a single borrower. Most of us treat time like it's unlimited. It isn't. It's the one asset you can't earn back, and how you spend it decides your results. Here's where loan officers spend their gold well: Responding quickly Working hard no matter where rates are Automating the repetitive stuff Investing in real estate partners Protecting their calendar So, here's your challenge this week: pick one task that drains your time and either automate it, delegate it, or drop it. Then spend that time on something that moves the needle. What's your best time-saving habit? Share it below. 👇 #LoanOfficer #MortgageProfessionals #MortgageLending #TimeManagement #RealEstate #Productivity #HomeLoans

  • That’s a wrap on our 2026 sales rally 👏 To every single person who traveled in to be part of this, thank you. You showed up to learn, to connect, to celebrate wins, and to push each other further. This past week reminded all of us why we do this. Here's to the friendships made, the lessons learned, and the momentum we're carrying forward. Next year is going to be even bigger. Thank you, Chicago. Thank you, team. 💚 #SalesRally #TeamCulture #MortgageLender

How do you help 500 loan officers build personal brands without creating 500 new jobs for your marketing team? 😅 Because “our LOs need to be more active on social” sounds great in the leadership meeting... But then comes the reality: How much freedom do you give them? What stays corporate vs. individual? Who creates all that content? And how do you build a program people actually participate in without your marketing team managing every post? That's the conversation we're having at The Mortgage Marketer. Marketing leaders like Ellie Krabbe from SynergyOne Lending aren't focusing on why employee advocacy is important. (You already know that.) They're coming to talk about the hardest part: how you actually build the system behind it. The guardrails, the content strategy. What belongs on corporate pages. How to create momentum after your team finally starts posting. How to turn individual participation into something that strengthens the entire company brand – instead of fragmenting it. Because the goal isn't 500 loan officers parroting corporate content – it's learning how to leverage 500 individual voices to collectively make your brand more visible. Which is why we're curious to hear where other mortgage marketers land on this: 👇 What's ONE thing you wish your loan officers would create or share more consistently – and what's getting in the way? Original content? Video? More local market insights? Personality? More participation, period? 😂 Tell us below. We have a feeling Ellie and the rest of our panel will have some thoughts, too. And if you're reading this thinking, “YES. This is exactly the kind of thing we're trying to figure out,” comment MARKETER. We'll send you the agenda, who's already joining us, and all the details for why your team needs to be in the room. 🌊 The Mortgage Marketer | September 9–11 | Laguna Beach, CA Ellie Krabbe Synergy One Lending, Inc.
