🎓 About 89 million people or 37% of adults ages 25 and over had bachelor’s degrees or higher in 2025, up from 58 million (28%) in 2010, according to new American Community Survey data. But the share of bachelor’s degrees in education declined from 14% to 10% over that period, while the share with degrees in science, engineering and related fields increased from 44% to 47%. 🚽 Believe it or not, information on wastewater systems people use has been one of the most frequently requested housing data points by a wide range of federal partners, trade associations, and local governments. New American Community Survey data show that about 118 million housing units (near 80%) reported being connected to a public sewer and about 28.5 million reported being connected to a septic system.
