Spreadsheets are great for crunching numbers, but dense grids make it hard for teams to quickly understand insights and manage projects. Just describe what you need to Gemini, and it transforms your raw data into custom, interactive mini-apps—no coding or complex formulas required. • Prompt-to-app: Build custom visual interfaces in seconds just using natural language. • Two-way live sync: Any edit or move on the canvas instantly updates the underlying sheet cells, and vice versa. • Native & secure: Stays directly inside Google Sheets, keeping all your existing permissions intact. Abhi Dhar reacted on thisAbhi Dhar reacted on thisAfter fifteen years at Google, I’m ready for a new challenge. This was a decision I did not take lightly, but I was influenced by a hike that I did last year in Jackson Hole. The goal was to climb 29,029 vertical feet on one mountain, over and over again, in under 36 hours. Each step was a challenge, every summit was an accomplishment. But after 19 trips up the mountain, and an amazing sense of accomplishment, it was clear to me that while I will absolutely push myself again, I’ll choose a different mountain. And that’s how I came to a similar decision to leave Google. I had an extraordinary run at Google, working with some of the brightest, sharpest folks I’ve ever encountered. Fifteen years, most recently as VP of Global Partnerships, building the partnership strategy, commercial architecture behind products used by billions of people. I worked with an incredible group of colleagues across Google TV, Chromecast, XR, Messages, Workspace, Gemini, Google Photos, Fi, Health, Home, Pixel, Android, Auto - and of course the Partnerships org. I couldn’t be more proud of what we built together. But after 15 years, I’ve chosen to climb a new mountain. Two things I’m doing next. The first is that I’m launching an exciting new start-up! I’ll be building out a new category in premium health and wellness for people who live active lives, yet run into speed bumps along the way. It’s early, but just thinking about tackling this problem gets my heart-racing. I’ve personally been plagued by this issue countless times as a lifelong athlete playing soccer, field hockey, hiking, swimming, running, Pilates and strength training. (And I know many of you have run into this issue as well.) Most importantly, I am having fun building, learning, flexing new muscles. The second is advisory, board and consulting work at the convergence of where profound technological changes impact business and consumers, with a particular focus in Physical AI and Robotics. My deep expertise crafting strategy, ecosystems, partnerships, GTM approaches across hardware and software is a natural fit with my passion for transformative new technologies. We’re at the precipice of some truly extraordinary changes, and I’m excited and energized to dive in. So, how can you help? Manufacturing, Design, retail, distribution and brand leaders, especially in specialty and premium -- I could use your wisdom, and your contacts. Founders and operators in Physical AI and/orRobotics who need my expertise of building business and partnership strategy at scale -- please reach out or make introductions. Austin folks. I want to meet with folks everywhere, but I am particularly interested in connecting with more folks in and around Austin, and strengthening my local community ties. If any of that sounds like you, follow me at adriennemccallister.com, message me on LinkedIn, or my calendar is open. After 15 years ascending Google mountain, I’m excited to reach my next summit.adriennemccallister.com, message me on LinkedIn, or my calendar is open. Abhi Dhar liked thisAbhi Dhar liked thisI was one of a hundred folks when I joined JumpCloud seven years ago, after Gregory Keller took a chance on me to build out our strategic alliances. Now, as I close this chapter in the career book, we're just shy of a thousand people across the globe, having more than 10Xed revenue along the way. I was fortunate to wear multiple hats, from alliances to supporting our channel and MSP team as it took shape. Then into business development and M&A as the company scaled. I later became our first Principal Strategist, serving as an evangelist for all things IT and what we were building. Finally, I had the pleasure of leading the most amazing product marketing team. Growth is never linear, and the people who stay curious through the messy parts are the ones who end up shaping what the company becomes. I'm incredibly proud of what we built at JumpCloud, and even more grateful for the people I built it with. I'm not leaving to go somewhere new, but rather to start something new. More to come on that, but first, thank you to Rajat Bhargava and Gregory Keller for giving me the seminal career experience we always talk about at JumpCloud.

Abhi Dhar liked thisAbhi Dhar liked thisAfter eight years at Google, I have decided to move on to a new challenge. Leaving Google was a hard call, but I'm excited about my next chapter (more to follow soon). For those I collaborated with, I am grateful for your time and would like to stay in touch. I'm just a cup of coffee away. I joined Google to work on enterprise security, and stayed on as it became an AI problem. In that time we took Zero Trust from a whiteboard to the default posture for some of the most security-conscious organizations in the world, made Workspace the first productivity suite with end-to-end encryption across the entire suite, and built the governance controls that let enterprises turn AI on rather than block it. Planet scale is an overused phrase, but at Google's scale there is no such thing as a small default. Every setting you ship becomes policy for people who may never open the admin console. None of it was mine. It belonged to product, engineering, security, legal, and policy teams who debated with me constantly and made the work better every time. To the leaders who backed the bets: contextual policies, data egress controls, admin configurations, the anti-hijacking protections nobody demos - thank you. Eight years, one badge, and a lot of coffee. Can't tell if the barista knew today was my last day, but thank you for the latte art that made my morning.

Abhi Dhar reacted on thisAbhi Dhar reacted on thisTwo years ago, EvenUp was about a tenth of the size it is today - fewer people, fewer products, fewer customers, and still very early in what we were building. Two weeks ago, I was back in Montreal for our company offsite, in the same city where I met Saam 16 years ago (Raymond came a few years later). Our theme was “The Next 10x.” Looking around the room at 600+ people, more than half of whom joined in the last year, it was hard not to think about how far we’ve come. But what mattered more was what all that growth has allowed us to do. Every case we touch begins with one of the worst days of someone’s life. Last year, a man I’ll call John was hit by a truck. He suffered 35 life-threatening injuries, spent months in the hospital, and accumulated more than $1M in medical bills. His firm used EvenUp, and his case ultimately settled for $10M without litigation. The number isn’t what stayed with me. It’s the time. It’s that we helped give John years of his life back instead of spending them fighting through the court system. That’s why we’re here. And every outcome like John’s is made possible by people across EvenUp (engineers, designers, operations, salespeople, and so many others) many of whom were together in that Montreal ballroom. To everyone who has helped get us here: thank you. We’ve grown 10x before, but there are still millions of people like John waiting on a system that moves too slowly for them. Reaching them is the next 10x.

Are we seeing a fleeting Silicon Valley: It’s not just about the taxes. For years, the narrative of tech leaders "fleeing California" was blamed on a single number: the 15% (now 5%) tax rate. But the real conversation in the Valley right now is much more human—and much more complex. According to a recent deep dive by TechCrunch, the "Great Dispersal" of 2026 is being driven by three things that money can't fix: 📍 The Rise of the "Micro-Hub": Founders aren't just moving to Austin or Miami anymore. They are seeking "identity-rich" communities in places like Bozeman, MT, and Bentonville, AR, where high-speed satellite internet has made "the middle of nowhere" the new "center of everywhere." The "Quiet Life" Pivot: After a decade of "hustle culture," there is a massive shift toward lifestyle stability. The move isn't just a tax play; it’s a search for better public safety, shorter commutes, and a tangible connection to local community—things that have become increasingly scarce in the Bay Area. The End of Geographic Density: With the 2026 breakthroughs in AI-driven remote collaboration, the "collision of ideas" no longer requires being in a Palo Alto coffee shop. Innovation is becoming decentralized, and for many, California is now a place you visit for board meetings, not where you raise a family. The Takeaway: Silicon Valley isn't dying—it's evolving into a state of mind rather than a zip code. The tech industry is finally learning that you can build the future without losing your sense of place. https://lnkd.in/gtNN7Bn5 #SiliconValley #TechTrends #FutureOfWork #DigitalNomad #CaliforniaExodus #Innovation

Proud to support Esusu as it enters its next phase of growth with a new $50M Series C fundraise! Wemimo Abbey, Samir Goel and team continue to lead the industry in credit building and economic mobility for millions of renters nationwide. Esusu (Founder Institute San Francisco portfolio company) is setting a new standard for combining economic and societal impact. By helping renters get credit (literally) for paying their rent on time, they are increasing financial access and empowering more people to become homeowners - in fact, they have already empowered over $30BN in new mortgages from renters across their system. I'm especially excited about how they plan to leverage their massive dataset to create even more impact. By making rental payment data a more prominent feature in mortgage underwriting, Esusu will be able to increase the number of people that can buy homes and build generational wealth. This is a truly inspiring company 🙌 Read more here: https://lnkd.in/guUKsGtY

When most people hear "solid-state," they think storage. But in Santa Clara, xMEMS Labs just gave that term new resonance, literally. The company just raised $21M in Series D funding led by Boardman Bay Capital Management, with Cloudview Capital, CDIB-TEN Capital, Harbinger Ventures, Susquehanna Asia Venture Capital, and other strategic investors tuning in. This isn't another round of capital, it's an #amplifier for a company turning silicon into a new language of #sound and #cooling for the AI era. Founded in 2018 by Joseph Jiang and Jemm Liang, xMEMS spun out of piezoelectric R&D at TSMC and turned what was once wafer-level theory into commercial hardware. Joseph Jiang, a veteran of Knowles, Fortemedia, and InvenSense, leads with precision and swagger, while Jemm Liang, who built Ultrachip from the ground up, drives the engineering with surgical focus. Co-Founder & CLO Wei-Fu Hsu, the former MediaTek exec and IP expert, ensures xMEMS' innovation is as protected as it is disruptive. Their play? A monolithic MEMS platform that transforms voltage into vibration, silicon into sound. Unlike legacy coil speakers and fans, xMEMS tech doesn't move parts, it moves markets. Over 500K MEMS speakers shipped in 1H'24, backed by >250 global patents. The Cypress & Sycamore lines redefine what "small" can do: 1mm-thin, full-range, and capable of sub-bass response once thought impossible in earbuds. Their XMC-2400 µCooling chip, 1mm-thin, fan-on-a-chip, inaudible, moves 39cc/sec of air at just 30mW. That's not cooling, that's choreography at a molecular level. Dr. Chester Hwang, named CTO on Oct 15, 2025, joins to push that curve further. Alongside veterans Mike Housholder (VP Marketing & Biz Dev), Jim Wargnier (VP N.A. & EU Sales), James Lee (VP & Korea GM), Steven P. Bentley (VP Sales), and Martin Lim (VP MEMS Tech), xMEMS is scaling at semiconductor speed. They're already in BleeqUp's AI sports glasses and teamed with Dongguan Rayking Electronics for TWS modules. When OEMs talk "next-gen," they're talking xMEMS-level integration. For investors like Boardman Bay's Will Graves, this isn't just sound engineering, it's signal intelligence. With AI pushing devices thinner, faster, and hotter, xMEMS' piezoMEMS platform sits at the intersection of #acoustics and #thermals, where every millimeter matters. Backing them is a bet that the next wave of #sensorytech won't just compute, it'll feel alive. So what's next? Scaling production, expanding capacity, and embedding xMEMS' silicon pulse into everything from earbuds to AI #datacenters. In a world chasing speed, silence, and fidelity, xMEMS isn't following the beat, they're building the frequency the future will hum to. #Startups #StartupFunding #VentureCapital #SeriesD #AI #Sound #SoundEngineering #Semiconductors #Data #DataDriven #Technology #Innovation #TechEcosystem #StartupEcosystem #Hiring #TechHiring If software engineering peace of mind is what you crave, Vention is your zen.

As AI workloads eat up global computing supply, DRAM prices are surging like never before—creating major challenges for teams trying to plan out their data center spend. One of my portfolio companies, Mext, is addressing the largest cost component in the datacenter: server memory (DRAM). From being on the board of Redis for the last twelve years, I’ve learned a lot about the various aspects of this problem and approaches to solving them. Mext found a breakthrough, using new AI techniques, for dramatically reducing the amount of server-DRAM required to run applications, all while maintaining performance. It intelligently manages the server’s memory, keeping hot pages (i.e., those in use by applications) in fast DRAM and offloading cold pages (i.e., those less used) to a much less expensive memory tier (e.g., NVMe Flash). Key to the approach is ensuring cold memory pages that are about to be accessed by an application are back in DRAM before the application needs them or notices that they were gone. This is done without modifications to the application or the OS – so it can run in the cloud or on-premise. Mext thus allows applications to either run using less DRAM or keep their DRAM footprint but do more with it. They're hosting a webinar along with Fred Weber (former CTO of AMD) on Jan 22nd at 10am pacific time. You can register here: https://lnkd.in/gXe9GCeE
