Adam Cohen shared thisThis is what building something bigger than a brand looks like. Proud to see WAVERS by DOUGHBRIK’S partnering with the Goldburg Family Foundation and Jack’s Dining Room in support of an incredible mission: helping feed New Yorkers in need. The GFF booth at the Yes Chef Food Fest brings together food, community and purpose, with WAVERS right there helping drive awareness, engagement and impact. For me, this is what entrepreneurship should also be about. As we grow WAVERS across the U.S. and internationally, we want to use our platform, our product and our community to give back wherever we can. Huge appreciation to the Goldburg family, Jack’s Dining Room, David Dobrik and everyone who helped bring this partnership together. Build the brand. Build the community. Make an impact. ❤️🙏 See you on Sept 30th at Citi Stadium in NY! #WAVERS #Doughbriks #GoldburgFamilyFoundation #YesChefFoodFest #NewYork #GiveBack #CPG #Entrepreneurship #CommunityImpact Jack Goldburg Robert Goldburg WAVERS

Adam Cohen shared thisCostcoWholesale I’ve thought about this moment for years….. Long before WAVERS, long before Costco, I had a vision: if I ever built a snack brand and made it into Costco, I wanted one of those first moments to happen right here on Long Island, where I grew up. After more than 25 years on the West Coast, today I came home with something we built from the ground up. But this moment is bigger than me. Our team got this moment. Only one year in market, and today was an incredible reflection of what this team is capable of when vision, grit, belief and relentless execution come together. Building a company means risk, sacrifice, sleepless nights, incredible highs and some very difficult lows. Days like today remind you why you keep going. Thank you to everyone who came out to support us, to the incredible Costco team, and to the CDS team who worked tirelessly alongside us. Watching people try WAVERS, light up and tell us how much they loved the product was something I will never forget. Long Island, this one means everything. ❤️🙏 Come see us at Costco Melville on Broadhollow Road through Sunday, September 27 and Commack, Long Island, NY One year in market. What a team. What a journey. And we’re just getting started. #WAVERS #Doughbriks #Costco #LongIsland #NY #FounderJourney

Adam Cohen shared thisAdam, this means a lot. On behalf of me, David, Jerry, and the entire WAVERS team, thank you for believing in what we’re building. We set out to create far more than another snack brand. We’re building a global CPG company with incredible people, great product, and partners who roll up their sleeves alongside us. Proud to have you, Jeff, Jian, and the F&F Ventures team on this journey with us. We’re just getting started. Let’s build! 🚀🌎 Adam ShawAdam Cohen shared thisWAVERS is going to be one of the top snack brands in the world. And F&F Ventures just invested! When we evaluate a company, we look at three things: The founders and team. The product. The market and traction. WAVERS has all three. Adam Cohen, Jerry Bello, and David Dobrik LLC are building with incredible energy, dedication, and a clear ambition to make Wavers THE snack brand worldwide. We recently met up at Tastemaker Food Co's dinner in NYC and had the opportunity to speak with David. It quickly became clear why he has built such an incredible following. This team understands people, creates real excitement, and is deeply committed to Wavers’ success. Jeff Erickson, Jian Tam, and I believe in what Wavers can become! At F&F Ventures, we only invest when we believe we can add significant value beyond capital. We’re excited to roll up our sleeves and continue helping build Wavers! Adam Cohen shared thisAT THE TABLE was an important moment for WAVERS, not only from a brand perspective, but for what we want this company to represent as we grow. Bringing together an incredible community around food while supporting the Goldburg Family Foundation’s work addressing food insecurity and creating opportunities through scholarships gave the evening real purpose. Our partnership with Jack’s Dining Room and the Goldburg Family Foundation shows how WAVERS can use our brand, platform and relationships to create impact well beyond the shelf. A special thank you to Jeff, Adam and Jian for showing up and supporting us, and to everyone who helped make the night so meaningful. Proud of what we’re building together, and this is just the beginning.Adam Cohen shared this“WHAT??? NO WAY!!!” That was my daughter Calyn’s reaction when I told her who I was having dinner with last week in NYC. I was in NYC for our Founders & Funders event, while my wife, Inger E., and Calyn were there with me and enjoying New York Fashion Week. When Calyn asked about my plans for Wednesday night, I casually said, “I’m having dinner with someone named David Dobrik, who has a brand we just invested in.” Her reaction was one of disbelief and excitement. “No you're not!!! Dad, do you know who he is?” Apparently, David is one of her favorite YouTubers, and she listens to his podcast all the time. For one night, Dad officially had the cooler plans than her. The dinner was hosted by Adam Cohen and Jerry Bello at Tastemaker Food Co, the original founders of Vegi Straws and now the founders of WAVERS by Doughbrik’s, our newest portfolio company for F&F Ventures. Adam Shaw, Jian Tam, and I had a great time getting to know David Dobrik LLC, hearing his vision for WAVERS, and talking about what’s next. He’s a super nice guy with amazing energy. David has built an incredible audience and personal brand. Now, he’s bringing that same energy into a consumer brand of his own and that’s exactly the kind of opportunity we love at F&F Ventures. We’re excited to support the WAVERS team with the launch, DTC, and retail. We also just finished the updated website, and I can’t wait to share it! And yes, Calyn was a little jealous that she couldn't join us for dinner that night. 😂 #WAVERS #DOUGHBRIKS #Founders&Funders

Adam Cohen shared thisEPIC NIGHT FOR AN EPIC CAUSE 🙏❤️Adam Cohen shared thisIn the midst of New York Fashion Week, we brought together food, culture, community, and purpose. Wednesday night at Ketchy Shuby in SoHo, WAVERS by DOUGHBRIK’S joined forces with Jack’s Dining Room and the Goldburg Family Foundation for At the Table Dinner — an evening hosted by our Co-Founder David Dobrik and Jack Goldburg centered around one thing we believe in deeply: bringing people together around food. The room was filled with an incredible mix of creators, athletes, entrepreneurs, media personalities, and tastemakers, including Dixie D’Amelio, Natalie Noel, New York Jets running back Breece Hall, Kendall Washington, Nicolas Vansteenberghe, Shiggy, Jesse Solomon, Ben Waddell, Zach Dereniowski, Kit Keenan, Lauren Wolfe, and more. Together, we came to celebrate community while supporting the Goldburg Family Foundation’s work to fight food insecurity and create educational opportunities through the Goldburg Family Pantry. For us, this partnership represents something bigger than a night in New York. As WAVERS continues to grow — from our move to avocado oil, to our expanding retail footprint across the U.S. and internationally — we believe our platform should create impact beyond the snack aisle. Good food brings people together, and we want to use that connection to give back. And we’re just getting started. We’ll be back in NYC September 26–27 for the upcoming Yes Chef Food Fest, while also making appearances at Costco roadshow locations in Commack and Melville. Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared a seat, and helped make At the Table special. We’re proud to build WAVERS into a brand that doesn’t just show up in communities — we show up for them. #WAVERS #DOUGHBRIKS #GoldburgFamilyFoundation Adam Cohen | F&F Ventures | Capital Q® Ventures Inc. | David Dobrik LLC | Tastemaker Food Co

Adam Cohen liked thisAdam Cohen liked thisWe opened a new Sam's Club in Lathrop, CA last week, and it’s a nice reminder of something I think #retail occasionally makes more complicated than it needs to be. Members want great physical stores. They also want great #digital experiences. Sometimes you want to walk the club, discover something you didn’t know you needed, grab a sample and leave wondering how a 75-inch TV somehow ended up in the cart. Other days you want dinner, diapers or paper towels at your door in an hour. Same member. Same week. Sometimes the same day. Nobody wakes up and says, “I’m feeling particularly #omnichannel today.” Our job is just to make every choice easy and make the value obvious. The club should be worth the trip. Digital should give you time back. And both should feel unmistakably Sam’s. Big congratulations to the team in Lathrop. Another club open, and a lot more members to serve. #CX #leadership #management #ecommerce

Adam Cohen liked thisAdam Cohen liked thisEmma Grede replied to my comment on her Instagram post, so I'm taking this one to LinkedIn. 😉 Her post: "I'm working on building my personal brand. Said no man ever." Her point: Build something, get great at it, because the work comes first. I agree with every word of that last part. I disagree with the conclusion. Emma co-founded Good American and Skims. She did the work, no question. Then she started a podcast. Wrote a book. Hosts dinners for women. Posts regularly. That's not a brand that "followed." That's a brand she's building, on purpose, and really well. Here's the nuance that keeps getting lost: 👉 Superficial content is performing for attention. 👉 A personal brand is sharing what you've built, what you know, and what you've learned. One is noise, the other is leverage. The people who truly skip it exist. Like MacKenzie Scott. No feeds, no podcasts, and almost no interviews. The work speaks for them, entirely. Emma didn't choose that path. Neither did Codie Sanchez or Sophia Amoruso. For women reinventing at 40+, waiting until you're "great enough" to be visible is how you stay invisible. The work comes first, always. Then you tell people about it. Still a fan, Emma. 💛 Where do you land: build quietly, or build in public? #reinventionredefined #personalbrand

F&B innovation doesn’t initiate at Google. It commences in the lab. Most food & beverage brands believe innovation comes from Google searches, trend reports, and competitor analysis. While online research can spark ideas, true F&B innovation begins where Google searches end, inside the lab. Analytics-oriented innovation rarely reflects real manufacturing conditions. Google cannot predict how ingredients react under heat, pressure, carbonation, storage, or transportation, especially in Indian market conditions, where temperature and logistics play a vital role. Online research may inspire concepts, but it cannot test:- -Ingredient interaction -Sensory balance -Shelf-life stability -Scalability at the production level Without lab validation, brands often face:- -Ingredient incompatibility -Poor taste consistency -Shelf-life failure after launch Difficulty in scaling from trial to commercial batches At Foodsure, every product idea is validated through structured lab trials before moving toward market launch. Acknowledgement to all the brands that experience fewer failures, manage costs better, and have more certainty before going into large-scale production. Planning a new food or beverage product? Comment “Innovation” or DM us to start with lab-backed development. #FBInnovation #FoodRND #FoodStartup #BeverageDevelopment

What’s 3 Key Beverage Trends to Watch in 2026 As the beverage industry evolves, 2026 is poised to be a transformative year. Driven by technological innovation and a deeper understanding of consumer health, the landscape is shifting beyond traditional categories. Here are three key data-backed trends set to redefine the market. First, Precision Functional Beverages will move beyond general wellness to targeted solutions. Expect a surge in drinks formulated with clinically-backed ingredients for specific health goals like stress resilience, sleep quality, or focused energy. The global nutraceutical market, a key indicator, is projected to reach USD 722.49 billion by 2030, with beverages as a primary growth vector. Brands will leverage biometric data to create personalized nutrition plans, making the drink a precise health tool. Second, Climate-Conscious Formulations will become a primary purchasing driver. Consumers will seek out brands with verifiable sustainability credentials, particularly those using low-water-footprint ingredients. For instance, the alt-milk market continues to innovate with barley and chickpea bases, as producing oat milk requires approximately 80% less water than almond milk. This extends to upcycled ingredients, turning what was once waste into valuable nutritional content. Finally, Sophisticated Adult Non-Alcoholic Drinks will solidify as a major category. Moving beyond simple mocktails, these beverages offer complex flavor profiles through botanical extracts and fermentation. The global non-alcoholic beverage market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7.8% from 2024 to 2032, reflecting a permanent shift in social drinking habits. This trend caters to a growing health-conscious demographic seeking premium, adult-oriented experiences without alcohol. In summary, the future of beverages lies in hyper-personalization, environmental accountability, and sophisticated adult alternatives, setting a new standard for the industry in 2026. --------------------------------------- EZVAN 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 & 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐂𝐨.,𝐋𝐭𝐝 ✈️𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀: www.ezvanbeverage.com ☎️whatsapp: (86)13826199963 📧𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗹: gdyizhiban@163.com 📍𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀: No.15, Phoenix Mountain Fourth Road, Long Dragon Industrial Zone, Taishan City, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, China 529222) #Beverage #EzvanFoodAndDrink #Soda #BoldEnergy #NewRelease

Premium spirits are having a difficult year. Travel retail is telling a different story. The $100-plus bottle segment in the US fell close to double digits in the first quarter alone. Tequila, the category which has been popular for a decade now, dropped too. People are choosing less expensive bottles. Except for one channel - #TravelRetail. IWSR's latest numbers show travel retail spirits grew 7% in value last year. Scotch was up 10% by volume. Japanese whisky was up 37%. So what's actually different at the airport, which is driving the numbers up? It's the thirty minutes before a flight. Someone walks you through a whisky you've never tried. There's a story behind the bottle, not just a price tag. The traveller is in a good, shopping mindset. This does not happen in a supermarket or an app. If your brand is already in duty-free, this is the reason to put your special edition front and centre, not your regular bottle. The environment is already doing half the work of selling it. The same bottle from the local store doesn't belong there. If your brand isn't in travel retail yet, this is worth thinking about. People are still willing to pay more for a premium bottle, and travel retail gives brands the best environment to make that happen. Of course, travellers still trade down when the value isn't clear. That hasn't changed. But travel retail rewards the brands that make premium feel personal, rare, and easy to choose; not just expensive. Waiting for the home market to bounce back could take a while. In travel retail, the job is simpler: give travellers a reason to discover and pay for something they can't get at home. What are you seeing in your category? #TravelRetail #GlobalTravelRetail #DutyFree #PremiumSpirits #PlatinumLiquids

I have written a lot lately about protein and where the category is heading. This deal is another data point worth paying attention to. Second Nature Brands, the PE-backed snacking platform behind Brownie Brittle, Sahale Snacks and Voortman, just agreed to acquire Tillamook Country Smoker. Tillamook generates more than $175 million in annual sales and makes clean-label zero-sugar jerky, beef sticks and sausages. This is Second Nature's first move into protein snacks. The category numbers explain why. Dried meat snack sales excluding jerky rose 10.7% to $3.3 billion in 2024. PepsiCo entered this year with Good Warrior. Chomps, Jack Link's Protein Snacks and Archer Meat Snacks are all scaling. The category has gone from a niche better-for-you play to one of the most competitive aisles in the store in a very short window. For Second Nature, Tillamook gives them a platform in a category with real consumer tailwinds. For CapVest, the PE firm backing Second Nature, this is the roll-up playbook working exactly as designed. Buy castoffs and undermanaged brands, add distribution muscle and retail relationships, and let the category growth do some of the work. The harder question is whether clean-label meat snacks can hold their positioning as the category gets crowded with scaled players. Full article: https://lnkd.in/gvsRjjzQ

What do the protein LEAD test results mean for the CPG Industry? As some may already know, Consumer Reports (CR) released their latest testing on protein powders and found, according to them, high amounts of lead. What this means for the industry is that you may suddenly see an INFLUX of questions from customers and consumers. It is not a time to panic, but a time to take action and strengthen some programs. So here are some key steps to consider and prepare: 1. Develop a STANDARD RESPONSE that is comprehensive yet simple to explain. Use this as a chance to EDUCATE your consumers. 2. Test for heavy metals in your product, not to alarm but to UNDERSTAND potential risks or areas for improvement. This is especially important if you sell in California (where Prop 65 applies). 3. Become familiar with both federal and local REGULATIONS related to heavy metals. 4. Understand CONSENT JUDGMENT LEVELS, which are negotiated safe use levels that take into account real world feasibility. For example: 📌 Protein supplements and powders: Typically around 3 mcg of lead per day 📌 Chocolate and some mass gainers: Up to 4 mcg per day 📌 General supplements with NSF certification: up to 10 mcg per day 📌 FDA interim reference level for adults: 8.8 mcg per day 📌 Consumer Reports target: 0.5 mcg per day, mirroring Prop 65 threshold, and as you can see, mostly unfeasible 5. Test frequently and review results often to spot trends or supplier changes. ADJUST your TESTING PROGRAM based on new seasons, growing regions, and ingredient sources. 6. Consult with a food attorney or regulatory compliance professional for actual guidance or simply a second opinion. Note: This post is not legal advice, just general information and practical guidance you may use. Questions? Comments? Let us know below 👇

TODO VERDE, TUYYO, AND NEMI MERGE UNDER TUYYO FOODS The trio of female-owned consumer brands are coming together: 👉 Todo Verde was founded in 2015 and started selling DTC after the pandemic focusing on taco seasoning blends. 👉 Nemi Snacks was founded in 2019 and sells dried snacks made from Nopal Cactus. 👉 TUYYO was founded in 2020 and produces Latin American inspired beverage mixes. The consolidation reminds me of Bettani Farms acquiring NUMU Food Group, Stockeld Dreamery, and Hungry Planet last month. But with a twist of being oriented to Hispanics. Lots of these food brands that focus on a specific ethnicities are flying high like Bachan's, Dumpling Daughter, and Mother-in-Law's. Neither of the brands have record of raising institutional capital. Curious to see if that's the next move after consolidating portfolio.

Coffee companies continue to trade at a premium — often well above the restaurant sector median. From Starbucks with a $90B+ market cap to the newly public Black Rock Coffee Bar, investors are rewarding the category’s combination of brand power, daypart diversification, and asset-light scalability. But the headline numbers obscure the nuance. Even within coffee, performance varies widely. Same category, different stories — some are growing fast but chasing margins; others command consistency but face saturation; and new entrants are yet to prove their brand. The spread reflects not hype, but differences in system sophistication, throughput, and capital discipline. Premium multiples in coffee aren’t just about caffeine (or beverage) culture — they’re a proxy for planning and execution. As valuations diverge, investors are leaning harder on diligence to separate durable growth from over-caffeinated projections. For emerging brands, understanding what drives those multiples — and engineering the systems behind them — will define who becomes the next Starbucks, and who stays local. #restaurants #valuation #coffee

AI can predict a trend. It still can’t crave a snack. In food innovation, speed is helpful, sure, but relevance is everything. AI can help teams spot patterns, test ideas, and narrow down what consumers may want next. That can save time and open up new possibilities. But the final question is still very human: would someone actually want this? Great products are not built from data alone. They come from understanding the moment, the mood, the flavor, and the reason someone reaches into the freezer or pantry in the first place. AI is a great tool… Human taste is still the strategy.
