Kevin Alansky posted thisI'm excited to announce I've joined Titan Cloud Software as their new CMO, to help lead marketing, provide insights, and solve challenges in the fuel operations industry. An industry that often runs on tight margins, strict compliance, and equipment that can't afford downtime. TitanCloud's software gives operators the visibility and control they need to run safer and smarter. TitanCloud is a leader in the industry, with strong product market fit and leading customers who rely on it every day. Now it's about scaling the story, sharpening the message, and building a pipeline engine that matches the quality of the product. I'm also excited to work with such a talented team. Every conversation through this process confirmed what I'd heard: smart people who care about getting it right and achieving high goals. Looking forward to building on that success together!

Kevin Alansky shared thisA heartfelt thank you to my Jedox colleagues. After an incredible 5 years, I have decided to leave Jedox and begin a new chapter. It's never an easy decision in a company where you have so much admiration, but I am proud of what we built and the growth during my tenure. It's now time to move on and start a new chapter. When I arrived, we were still in pandemic mode: masks on planes, COVID tests before each Germany trip. It feels like a different era now. What got us through was treating this as #oneteam. We figured it out and never slowed down. In those 5 years, we moved from a niche player to a 3x leader in Gartner's Magic Quadrant. We generated nearly 5,000 marketing opportunities. My team joked that I became the #1 ambassador of Schlappen. And finally, we NEVER EVER had a dark week! To Florian Winterstein and the executive leadership team Rolf Gegenmantel, Vladislav Maličević, Dr. Björn Schmidt, Dr. Christoph Streng, Gareth Morris: thank you for your partnership and belief in marketing to help build a real pipeline engine. To my global marketing team, past and present: thank you for bringing your tenacity, your creativity, and your relentless commitment to driving süperpipeline. Together we helped Jedox grow while building your careers. Leading global marketing and the BD team for an Insight Partners growth company was truly a privilege. I had always wanted to work for one of the best investors out there, and they helped us to be the best that we can be. To everyone at Jedox, especially my German colleagues: thank you for the partnership and for making me feel at home over 40 visits. I learned a lot about your culture and your work ethic. I'm excited about what's next. But today is about saying thank you to Jedox.

Kevin Alansky reposted thisKevin Alansky reposted thisAfter a great run at Panopto, I've started the next chapter: working with a small number of companies, CEOs and founders as a fractional marketing leader and advisor. I help with three things: ICP clarity and messaging that actually sells, pipeline that converts, and AI-native execution that compounds. AI won't replace great marketers. It will amplify them. Human judgment, taste, and your customer still decide who wins. My gratitude for past colleagues has never been higher. I started in the mailroom (yes, really), worked my way up through product marketing and demand gen, led growth teams and served as CMO twice. Everything I'm bringing into this chapter, I learned from you all. If you're rebuilding GTM for this moment, or it's just been a while and we should catch up, drop me a line on LinkedIn. I'd love to hear from you in the DMs and comments too. With gratitude, Mike

Kevin Alansky reposted thisThank you for joining us in Frankfurt and for sharing your valuable insights! It was a pleasure having you, Marc Champeaux and the KPMG France team with us. At Jedox, we're dedicated to advancing the industry forward, especially as Finance leaders face growing demands for faster, predictive insights. Your KPMG France white paper clearly highlights the importance of balancing reliability with innovation in selecting the right EPM platform 🏆 Our new generation of Jedox products, including AI-powered capabilities and AI Agents, aims to address these challenges. 💯 We're excited to collaborate more closely this year to help organizations make better, faster, and more confident decisions. Thanks again for the great discussions and your continued partnership! 🙏Kevin Alansky reposted this#Finance Directors and FP&A teams are increasingly being asked to update forecasts and provide insights on performance. Behind these challenges, there are always #data and #EPM tool considerations. But how to select the right tool❓ Editors are constantly releasing new features, and the market is evolving rapidly with newcomers... To address this question, our team has conducted a comprehensive review of EPM tools in our KPMG France White Paper (link in the comments), and we engage closely with Editors to understand - and challenge - their offer. I had the pleasure of attending the Jedox 2026 Partners Event, where I gained: 1️⃣Concrete insights from the field, thanks to testimonials from worldwide partners and customers 2️⃣A clear view of what’s coming, through a well‑structured and comprehensive roadmap 3️⃣Great discussions on the latest features, especially the #AI Agents These two days in Frankfurt were also a unique opportunity to exchange with Jedox’s leadership and the French team. 💫 A big thank you for the warm welcome and the valuable discussions ! Kevin Alansky liked thisKevin Alansky liked thisI hired Heinz Marketing Inc when I was a CMO. Now I run it. I’d already been doing webinars with the team since 2018 and subcontracting with them on client work, so by the time I hired Heinz Marketing, I knew exactly what I was buying. I also figured out I wanted to work here someday. So when Matt and I had lunch in January, I suggested it 😎 Heinz Marketing is deep, thorough, and methodical. I’m much more likely to skip six steps, announce that I can already see where this is going, and start rewriting the messaging. My brain runs toward strategy, speed, and making companies function with fewer stupid obstacles. This team has the depth and methodology to make sure all of that actually holds together. It turns out we’re extremely useful to each other. So today I’m officially President and COO of Heinz Marketing. Matt Heinz remains founder and CEO, with more time for clients, content, community, and the market. I’ll run the company day to day. I'm excited to truly get to help out more marketing teams. Or, to quote the kids, "Let's goooooo!"

Kevin Alansky liked thisKevin Alansky liked thisTLDR: Jenn Steele is joining Heinz Marketing today as our new COO and President. My title shifts to founder and CEO. I feel like I just won the lottery. A couple years ago when Maria Geokezas told me she was ready to retire, I knew I’d need to start looking for a new COO. And honestly Jenn was on my short list from the beginning, as something between a long shot and pipe dream. She’s a values fit, she’s a wicked-smart marketing leader, plus she’s run multiple companies. She checks all the boxes. But there’s no way she’d consider not only joining us but running the company, right? Then over lunch in January, she pitched ME on the idea. I still can’t believe it. So as of today Jenn runs the company day to day and I get to spend more of my time on the things I love – content, community, more time with marketing leaders and at events. We have BIG plans and BIG ideas for what’s to come for Heinz Marketing. I’m excited for you all to see it in the coming months. It’s easily the people that make this job so gratifying. We have an incredible team and I can’t wait for what we’re going to do together next.

Kevin Alansky liked thisMy favorite event of the year was last week: the Empowered CXO Summit, where 80 badass GTM leaders get together for unfiltered conversations about navigating work, life, leadership, and careers (and yes, AI was a topic this year), along with equally important ones about skincare, sleep, and hormones. Grateful that Amanda Kahlow acted on the brilliant idea she had several years go after a yoga class to create this community, and to Latané Conant Saima Rashid and now Kelly Hopping for keeping that torch on fire as it's passed. Could have said lit, but "on fire" fits this group better. It's humbling to realize how these relationships have endured through the highs and lows of my career. These women show up consistently and give generously, asking nothing in return, only that we all continue the cycle of paying it forward. The advice, encouragement, and tough love have been invaluable, and the cautionary tales just as instructive. I've been on the receiving end more times than I can count. Sitting with Maria Pergolino one year, I groaned about org design, and she promptly volunteered a framework she'd built. Another year, as we were wish-listing how attribution tools should work, Mada Seghete invited me to be an early design partner for what she was building at Upside. Four years later, it is now my can't-live-without-it MarTech tool! And Carilu Dietrich has educated many of us over the years in her no-holds-barred sessions on negotiating compensation, showing us what to ask for and how to ask for it. There are countless examples of this generosity compounding. This year, Liza Adams and Sydney Sloan reminded us that we have the power and the responsibility to act beyond the room: to use our seats at the table for good and be the voices for those who aren't there, and to keep advocating for diversity and inclusion. Just because it's no longer required doesn't make it optional. On a lighter note, there were also some very practical takeaways, like the scarf wizardry demonstrated Gretchen Eischen and Christine Heckart 🪄 Many highlights from this year, but the top one for me personally was the number of women who are now 𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆 🫐💪 Claire Couch EJ Oelling Laura Kaiden Alexa Obermeyer you have outdone yourselves, again. If you’ve never… • Asked ChatGPT to “sanity-check the ROI” before a meeting • Renamed a deck to “Strategic Growth Framework” to justify budget • Debated attribution for 20 minutes • Approved a campaign because “sales wants this” • Asked for “one more slide” the night before launch …are you even working in marketing?

Here's the ABM content "build & repurpose" flow we use to: - Connect sales & marketing playbooks - Deliver a consistent, relevant narrative for target account cluster across channels 1. Target specific use-case & personas Goal is to produce account and persona‑specific content that influences the entire buyer journey. A traditional ICP might define an ideal target as: - SaaS companies - $50M+ revenue - 500+ employees - Using Salesforce But this doesn’t tell you why they need your solution. Instead, we cluster target accounts on a specific use case and pain points driving their buying decisions. 2. Cluster narrative For the selected cluster, start by decomposing challenges of your best customers from that cluster. Bring together subject‑matter experts, sales, and deal analysis of your best customers. 3. Focus the team on an event narrative The event should adress a key challenge or a transformation that the target accounts need to go through. Why events work well: - Focuses the team on a concrete deliverable - Forces them to break down a generic challenge into specific jobs to be done, problems, solutions and why those problems exist - and connect them into a narrative - Each of these elements of the event narrative becomes a candidate for a LinkedIn post - Event creates a natural milestone with a hard deadline for your pilot - By defining events in this way, you make them genuinely useful to the target accounts 4. Turn the event into LinkedIn content for sales Sales shares content directly from their profiles because - They connect daily with buyers - It creates opportunities to start conversations This also shortens the feedback loop: you see which content resonates and leads to conversations. 5. Break content into three streams #1. Expert content (Goal: Nurturing). Infographics, templates, proprietary data, how-tos → positions the sales as a trusted advisor → each post becomes an input for the event deck #2. Curated content (Goal: Engagement). Collaborations, roundups, co-created posts → pulls in voices of buyers, peers, partners → allows sales to use content collaborations to start convos & get insight from target buyers #3. 1:1 account content (Goal: Account awareness): “account love letters” and personalized content hubs, tailored to specific accounts with high potential → guaranteed awareness creation @ target accounts → works incredibly well to start convos w/ buyers 6. Repurpose outputs Each piece of content feeds into the next: LinkedIn --> Event Deck --> Content Hub Content collabs (& webinar polls) --> LinkedIn --> Event --> Market research report --- The 2010s model optimized for traffic. The account-based model optimizes for influence in the accounts that matter. You're not waiting for the unpredictable inbound. You're creating awareness and demand in the specific buying centers of high-value accounts.

Account-based Marketing list always looks great on paper… until half the names bounce. Some GTM teams build an ABM list once every week… and assume it stays valid forever. But the truth? Your accounts are changing faster than your data. New execs join. Budgets shift. Teams expand or churn. And your pipeline ends up chasing ghosts. Here’s the pattern we see: Static ABM = lag. Your CRM shows the world as it looked last quarter. Dynamic ABM = advantage. Your strategy updates in real time, as markets and teams evolve. That’s exactly what Persana’s Account Orchestration delivers: ⚡ Continuous tracking of org changes, funding, and team growth ⚡ Live detection of tech swaps and company expansions ⚡ Signals that flow directly into your campaigns and sequences No manual refreshes. No “who’s still here?” moments. Just accounts that evolve as your market moves. With Persana, your ABM can finally act like a living ecosystem.

Most PMM capability assessments measure the wrong layer. Messaging quality. Launch execution. Sales enablement output. These are visible and measurable, so they become the definition of PMM performance. What doesn't get measured is whether PMM can engage with the commercial system: pipeline dynamics, retention signals, demand gen economics. Not as an expert. As a fluent peer who can shape the conversation, not just respond to it. The organizations where PMM earns genuine strategic authority have leaders who understand the commercial picture well enough to influence it. That capability doesn't show up in a portfolio review or a messaging audit. Craft is the floor. Commercial fluency is the ceiling. Most assessments never look up.

95% of ABM teams measure with traditional lead-based metrics instead of ABM-specific attribution according to data from Demand Gen. This explains why Gartner found that 39% of teams cite attribution as their top ABM challenge. You're running account-based programs but measuring with contact-based metrics. The math doesn't work. Teams can't prove ABM worked because attribution doesn't reflect how B2B deals close. Multi-stakeholder buying committees don't follow linear funnels. Touchpoints happen across channels over 6-12 months. Traditional attribution credits the last touch and ignores everything that built the deal. Here's what breaks: Treating all touches as equal. Early awareness activities and late-stage demos don't deserve the same credit. Map metrics to buying stages - track demand creation separately from demand capture. Measuring engagement instead of conversions. High engagement scores don't predict pipeline if you can't connect activity to revenue outcomes. Tie ABM to closed-won deals, not content downloads. Over-crediting ABM for deals it didn't create. If sales opened the account before marketing engaged, don't claim the revenue. Model pipeline influence without inflating results. Using spreadsheets for multi-touch attribution. CRM plus spreadsheets can't track account-level engagement across buying committees. Fix it with stage-based attribution and conversion modeling. Build systems that reflect buying behavior - multiple stakeholders, non-linear journeys, long cycles. Connect ABM activity to pipeline movement you can defend in budget reviews. Mason Cosby's live course on January 14 & 21 covers this where you'll learn to capture lost revenue, revive stalled accounts and attribute ROI. Link in comments. #ABM # Marketing #B2B

We help SaaS leaders turn marketing insights into predictable ARR. By prioritizing one or two focused tactics—account-based demand gen and content-to-revenue mapping—we see faster pipeline velocity, higher lead quality, and lower CAC. For example, ABM programs that target high-value accounts typically raise conversion rates by 20–40% and can reduce CAC by 15–30% when paired with intent-driven content. Mapping content to revenue clarifies which assets move prospects through stages, improving MQL→SQL conversion by 10–25% and shortening sales cycles by several weeks. Combine those with tight product-led growth touchpoints and you get compounding lift: stronger expansion signals and more efficient acquisition. At Integro, we translate these trends into measurable programs—audience modeling, content attribution frameworks, and campaign optimization—so marketing becomes a predictable revenue engine. Want benchmarks tailored to your model? Let’s run a quick diagnostic and outline a 90‑day plan. https://wix.to/5KeYX6Z 🔎🚀 #SaaSMarketing #ABM #RevenueOperations

Does your GTM strategy actually guide daily execution? Startups build strategy documents, positioning decks, ICP definitions, buyer personas, messaging houses. However, when reps sit down to work, they end up guessing, or picking whoever looks biggest, or the one contact who opened an email. That gap - between strategy and execution - is what we are solving with our partnership with SalientMG. SalientMG builds the foundation: GTM strategy, positioning, ICP definition, buyer personas, messaging frameworks that help differentiate. Hivekind's decision-led Pre-Pipeline System that takes that strategy and uses it to decide who to target, when to engage, and how to coordinate across buyer group members - day in and day out. Strategy reflects in execution, targeting stays sharp and on-point, delivering predictable pipeline. If you're an early or growth stage founder, read more (link in comments)
