Andy Abramson liked thisAndy Abramson liked thisValidation-first is what makes agentic AI usable. Not because the agent should be timid. Because real work has consequences. If an assistant is going to publish something, send something, schedule something, update something, or change something, the human should see the exact action before it happens. That means: What will be sent? Which account will it use? What media is attached? When will it happen? Who receives it? What tool will be touched? What counts as success? Without that, “agentic” quickly becomes stressful. The user is left hoping the assistant understood the assignment. That is not leverage. That is suspense. A better pattern is: The assistant prepares the work. The human validates the exact output. The assistant executes. The system returns proof. This is the difference between “AI did a thing” and “I delegated a task safely.” For founders, that safety layer matters. Especially when the work is spread across messages, meetings, inboxes, notes, and random half-thoughts.
