Marc Jablon shared thisSo many people to thank for coming out to help us celebrate our 10-Year Anniversary. First, I want to thank my family. Building a community brand like We Are Winter Garden requires a lot of sacrifice. My family continues to stand by us and that is truly appreciated. I would like to thank the We Are Winter Garden team. The best compliment we receive from people is, "we see you everywhere". Well, those aren't just photo ops. Our team not only shows up for events, but they also promote them. We have a dedicated team both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. If you ever tried to throw an event or even plan a trip to the movies with some friends, then you understand how difficult it is to gather people for an event. This team works hard, and they deserve recognition. I would like to thank the West Orange Chamber of Commerce. We love partnering with them for our events. They share our passion for supporting local and I appreciate them for allowing us to be creative. Thank you, Rock 'N Rev Ocoee, Super Freak The Band, and Showtime Balloon Co. You helped us create an incredible atmosphere and we look forward to many more events with you. Finally, I would like to thank the community. Your support means the world to us. You are the reason why we do what we do...and last night was no different. We got to bless Megan, a waitress at Rock N Rev, with two tickets to Journey. We love this community and we can't wait to see you at our next tour stop.

Marc Jablon shared thisDo you remember 9/11/01? I’m sure you do. We all remember where we were, the devastation, the fear, and then of course the need to unite as one Country. Do you remember what we were like before 9/11? Do you remember the political climate that made 9/11 possible? It wasn’t much different than it is today. Only a few years prior to 9/11, the Country was distracted by the impeachment trial of Bill Clinton. There was a bitter partisan battle in Congress. The majority of Republican Senators voted to remove President Clinton, and all the Democrats voted “no”. This partisan battle in Congress was followed by the partisan 2000 election of George W. Bush v. Al Gore which ultimately had to be settled by the Supreme Court. If we really want to “Never Forget” then we need to understand that history repeats itself. Right now, we are faced with numerous threats from overseas but perhaps our biggest threat is right here at home. We have leadership in Washington that is so partisan that there is a strong likelihood that we can be attacked again. From Immigration to Health Care, Congress is so divided over every issue. And for the issues Congress does agree on, as one Senator stated, they are unlikely to pass it due to their distrust of the other side. So where does this leave us in terms of the current threat? Again, the President pursues all his options via Executive Order. Congress doesn't act as a "check" on the Executive. My concern is obvious. We currently have a real divide in government and if we are to learn anything from 9/11, it’s the fact that when America is threatened, it’s time to unite. We need to ask our elected officials to stand together as they did just days after 9/11 for the good of the Country. Nothing is more American than the freedom to express our differences. However, the real beauty behind America is our ability to peacefully unite to defend our security and way of life. Let us again show genuine concern for our fellow Americans. Many of them are going through rough times right now. When the planes hit the towers, the brave fire fighters didn't ask if the people in the building were Democrats or Republicans. Rather, they valued each life as it were their own. For all of those who lost a loved one on 9/11/01, our Veterans, friends, and family, let’s remember to Never Forget. #neverforget

Marc Jablon shared thisI want to thank everyone who took the time to wish me a Happy Birthday. I'm old enough to think I remember the 70's, but definitely remember the 80's. My music taste goes from Barry Manilow to Dr. Dre, and I can't really explain it. I used to ride the bus to work at the Disney Store wearing my pink sweater while listening to the Chronic on my Sony Walkman. Having said that, the Birthday wishes I received also span generations. Some of my friends and family actually remembered my birthday (on their own). They woke up realized it was the 27th and that prompted them to call. Others have an old school paper calendar, while the majority of us were prompted by the reminder on Facebook and LinkedIn. You got the reminder and hit the prepared Happy Birthday 🥳🎊🎉with all the emojis. Kadance Jablon friends saw her stories on Instagram and texted me. Regardless of how you remembered, I truly appreciate all the wishes. Let's make 52 a great year!

Marc Jablon shared thisSeveral people see the changes happening in the City of Winter Garden and think "that's all of a sudden". The truth is the planning for the Hotel Winter Garden started in 2019 and was derailed by COVID, supply issues, inflation etc...Great job Empire Finish Systems, Fansler Construction, LLC, Knallhart Management Group, WGH Property LLC and 3R HOLDCO LLP for making this dream a reality. Marc Jablon shared thisI had the honor of attending the groundbreaking for the new Hotel Winter Garden. The Hotel Winter Garden is coming in 2027 and the teams involved broke ground on the project this morning! Jacksonville-based contractor Fansler Construction, LLC, along with development and equity partners WGH Property LLC and 3R HOLDCO LLP, will be building the luxury 4-story hotel property at the corner of Plant Street and N. Highland Avenue in the City of Winter Garden. The hotel will feature 60 luxury guest suites, including 10 penthouse suites with balconies overlooking the downtown district along the West Orange Trail. Jason Fansler, President and CEO of Fansler Construction, said “the property has been thoughtfully designed to match the unique vibrance of the Winter Garden area.” Once completed, the property will be managed by Florida-based hospitality and lifestyle company Knallhart Management Group. Plans for the project also include a high-end lobby restaurant, and a bar and lounge with outdoor lanai space along Plant Street. This project is scheduled for completion in December 2027. . #wearewg #wintergarden #hotelwintergarden #fanslerconstruction

Not only will the Matthew's Hope Garden Party be the premier social gathering of the fall season, but it's also a great way to support the important work that Matthew's Hope is doing in the local community. 🙌 Purchase a ticket or bring your friends, family, or colleagues by purchasing a table for the event. Limited quantities remain so don't delay. I hope to see you there! #matthewshope #gardenparty #gala

"The Peninsula" adds 100,000 square feet of meeting/expo space, bringing the total to over 450,000 square feet at the resort (the largest resort-based event space on the entire eastern US seaboard!) Huge congrats to Sean Verney Jim Curtis Eric Opron Stacy Binder Vanessa Kells and their incredible teams at the Swan and Dolphin, as well as ownership groups at Tishman Gabe Tishman Robert Snyder Kim Greca, Marriott International Mark Gaber, Met Life Financial Scott Hochman, and PCL Construction.
