Barrett Gold shared thisCongratulations to Warren C. Jones and Michael J.J. Cox. Very proud of the perseverance and dedication of the whole BluePath organization and excited about the next chapter in our continuing relationship with this great company. Appreciate the transaction support and ongoing partnership from our most elite & professional counsel at MWS, Diana Douglas, Esq., Seth Doughty, Edward Zaelke, and Heather Cooper. Best in the business. Not covered in the headline of this press release celebrating a new beginning for the BluePath family, but an exhilarating and under-reported subplot was the simultaneous new beginning in my own family with the birth of our first son, Warner. All in the midst of this transformative transaction! None of these would be possible without the heroic and often unseen efforts of my wife, Whitney Gold (Rogers), who somehow can do it all. Your tireless support is everything and I love you! https://lnkd.in/eErPFha8BluePath Finance, Inc. Receives Further Investment from TWG GlobalBluePath Finance, Inc. Barrett Gold liked thisBarrett Gold liked thisSo happy to announce our continued relationship with TWG Global. BluePath looks forward to funding a future of increasingly distributed sources of energy generation and storage. BluePath Finance, Inc. (“BluePath”), a leading owner and operator of distributed energy transition assets, announced today that it has closed significant corporate investment from TWG Global (“TWG”), a diversified holding company that operates and invests in businesses with untapped potential and guides them to new levels of growth. TWG’s investment in BluePath is managed by Franklin Park. Warren Jones, CEO of BluePath, said, “We are very pleased to continue our relationship with TWG and Franklin Park. Further investment from TWG will enable BluePath to grow significantly across projects, technologies, and geographies. We are in a great position to fund the long-term movement of energy assets closer to the end-customer.” “This closing underscores the TWG platform’s ability to deliver flexible capital at scale to high-quality, asset-focused businesses. We are excited to support BluePath in their next phase of growth,” said Barrett Gold, Principal at Franklin Park. Michael Cox, President of BluePath, said, “Further investment from TWG significantly bolsters BluePath’s financial strength solidifying long-term, strategic alignment with our channel partners.” BluePath owns projects across the United States with a business model that integrates electricity generation, storage, and related technology solutions. Founded in 2012, BluePath is in the energy transition for the long haul. For more details can be found here: https://lnkd.in/gVav_-WX

Barrett Gold liked thisBarrett Gold liked thisI love USA Hockey. Watching us win gold has had me grinning for 48 hours straight. When Jack Hughes scored, I absolutely lost my mind, while my 16-month-old son Nathan sat there laughing at me. It was a moment of pure jubilation. That kind of feeling doesn’t show up often for me in business. After I close a deal, it's time to chase to the next one. After we ship the project, we move onto the next. Nothing ever really feels finished. But for USA Hockey, after we won, there's no next KPI. Not for another four years, at least. We simply got to enjoy it. I love Consume Media. I love building. I love competing. I love the grind. But I also love that after we won, I got to hold Nathan, feel proud of my country, and not think about what’s next for this team. For now, we are the champions of the world. 🇺🇸🥇

Barrett Gold liked thisBarrett Gold liked thisAs we embark on 2026, I'm incredibly proud of what Lydian Energy has accomplished in just over two years. 2025 was truly a defining year: we grew to 55 employees, secured $1.3B in financing, and now own 4.4 GW across a portfolio of 18 projects. From breaking ground and commissioning projects like Pintail Pass to building durability and repeatability into everything we do, we're focused on converting momentum into value—for our communities, our investors, and the grid. None of this would be possible without the dedication of our team (who know how to celebrate the wins together), the unwavering support of our sponsor Excelsior Energy Capital, our lenders, customers, and partners at each project site. To each of you, a heartfelt, 'Thank You.'

Barrett Gold liked thisBarrett Gold liked thisAnother week, another data center event! I’m excited to represent Digital Power Optimization, Inc. at the DatacenterDynamics Connect Virginia conference again this year, alongside the entire Greenlight Data Centers team! Power access and speed to market remain the industry’s top priorities, and the energy sector’s role in this massive infrastructure build-out is only growing in importance. The next 36 months is going to get extremely interesting (and increasingly challenging). Stay smart, and good luck out there!

Over the last four years, power electronics have evolved from a cornerstone of the energy transition into an increasingly critical enabler of AI infrastructure. EPC Power Corp. has been at the center of that evolution, building on its leadership in power conversion for battery energy storage to help address some of the defining infrastructure challenges of the AI era: speed-to-power, power quality and resilience. The journey reflects exceptional engineering, industrial execution and a willingness to push the boundaries of what power electronics can enable. More broadly, it is a reminder that advances in computing ultimately depend on the physical infrastructure beneath them. It has been a privilege to support that journey. Congratulations to Devin Dilley, Jim Fusaro, Adam Kabulski, and the entire EPC Power team on an extraordinary milestone.

Calabasas Capital is seeing an increasing amount of private equity interest in the water industry. "The US water sector is entering a significant investment cycle, supported by infrastructure requirements, EPA regulation, and increasing demand for specialist engineering expertise. Private equity-backed consolidation is creating opportunities across water engineering, environmental consulting, and technology businesses, but leadership shortages are becoming a barrier to successful integration and growth."
