Bill McKinney shared thisI was lucky enough to qualify for the Jeopardy postseason, competing in a tournament of 15 former champions. The tournament plays out over the course of two weeks, and I kick it off on Monday night, and streaming on Peacock/Hulu starting Tuesday. A little different this time - next week is the quarter finals, which means the winner of each day advances to the semis the following week, and the next four highest scores advance as well. This was super fun, and I got to meet and spend time with some really amazing people along the way.

I did a terrifying bucket list thing a few weeks ago. My goals were to have a good time, and to make it to Final Jeopardy. I can only confirm for now that at least one of those things happened. Bill McKinney shared thisI had the privilege of dreaming up a concept for a speakeasy a couple years ago that has finally come to fruition in Boston. It started as an idea to have a bar with cocktails based on colonial-era drinks, and evolved to be an homage to the kinds of secret meetings that some of the Bostonian founding fathers would have had while planning a rebellion. If you know me, you know I'm an unabashed history nerd, so helping to come up with cocktails that each have a story was super fun. But they're delicious because of people like Bryan Bruce and Andy Nelson, and the bar came to life due to the hard work of Jenna Carlson-Carvalho, Nicolas Renouf, and many others at the InterContinental Boston. It is difficult to put into words what this chapter has meant to me. This hotel, this island, and above all, its people have changed my life forever. I arrived as a hotelier, but I leave feeling like one more Honduran and one more islander. To my incredible team, thank you for believing in every idea, for joining me in every adventure, and for giving your best through every challenge and every success. Everything we achieved was possible because of your passion, commitment, resilience, and love for this hotel. You made me a better leader and, more importantly, a better person. This beautiful video means more to me than I can express. It represents the relationships we built, the moments we shared, and the extraordinary family we became along the way. I will carry each of you with me wherever I go. My sincere gratitude also goes to our owners for their trust and support, and to the entire IHG corporate team for standing beside us throughout this journey.
