Hearing Professor Todd Squires from UC Santa Barbara's Society of Cosmetic Chemists: UCSB Chapter speak on Rheology brought me right back to my undergraduate days! He is a brilliant mind, and it was exactly the kind of deep technical conversation this industry needs. Strickland liked thisToday, we published our half year results for the period ending 30 June 2026, with performance very much in line with our expectations. Profits grew ahead of sales and sales ahead of volume. That's classic Croda and highlights the renewed strength of our innovation. Growth was driven by Consumer Care and led by an outstanding performance in Beauty Actives. The programme we set out at the start of the year is delivering. We are reinvigorating Beauty, rebalancing Pharma and delivering our transformation plan, creating a faster, more efficient business. There is much more to do, but the progress is clear. Our outlook for the full year is unchanged and we remain on track to deliver our targets through to 2028. Thank you to all our people and customers who continue to make this progress possible. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, share, and learn alongside region and function leads. I also had the chance to visit our manufacturing site in Leek, witnessing firsthand the next-generation excipient purification assets. The team's passion for our API and GMP manufacturing capabilities was truly inspiring. Capped off the trip with a visit to Cowick Hall headquarters!
