Myriam Monsonego was a seven-year-old French-Israeli girl who became the heartbreaking symbol of the 2012 Toulouse and Montauban attacks. On March 19, 2012, an Islamist terrorist attacked the Ozar Hatorah Jewish day school in Toulouse, France. Myriam, the daughter of the school’s headmaster, was cornered in the schoolyard. The gunman caught her by her hair and shot her at point-blank range. She tragically died in her father's arms. The attacker also murdered a Jewish teacher, Jonathan Sandler, and his two toddlers. Her murder shocked the world, sparking global outrage over the resurgence of violent antisemitism in Europe. R.I.P. angel השם יקום דמך ודם כול קורבנות השאה, אמן.

Bryan Finkel reposted thisBryan Finkel reposted thisNo. They are not coming just for us. By Visegrad24: 🇳🇱🇮🇱 Sarah Hildering van Lith, a non-Jewish Amsterdam-born music executive at Universal Music Group, says she fled the Netherlands for Israel after a wave of antisemitic threats, intimidation, and attacks following October 7. Hildering herself is also a terror attack survivor. On October 7, 2004, exactly 19 years before the Hamas massacre, Palestinian terrorists bombed the Taba Hilton in Sinai where she was staying as a teenager. She survived but permanently lost 60% hearing in one ear. Things escalated dramatically in March 2024. While unlocking her front door in Amsterdam, she says a Moroccan Muslim man approached her screaming: “Cancer Jew wh*re, I’m going to rape you.” Within seconds, two other Muslim men reportedly joined him after hearing the word “Jew.” Hildering believes she was targeted because she wore a Star of David necklace. She later described seeing Amsterdam radically change after October 7, saying her neighborhood became covered in Palestinian and Hamas flags. During an interfaith dialogue initiative backed by Amsterdam’s mayor, she says one Muslim cultural leader openly defended “jihad” as synonymous with the caliphate while others nodded in agreement. In another incident in May 2025, Hildering says a man driving beside her on an Amsterdam highway made a throat-slitting gesture, displayed Hamas imagery on his car, then allegedly tried to force her into a near-fatal crash while shouting “Allahu Akbar.” After moving to a Jewish neighborhood hoping to feel safer, her new home was burglarized in what she believes was a targeted attack. Around €30,000–€40,000 worth of valuables, heirlooms, jewelry, and Israel-related items were stolen. Neighbors reportedly captured footage of a van surveilling her home for days beforehand. “I thought I would grow old and die in Amsterdam. I never imagined myself fleeing my birth city for safety reasons.”

But there is also a human side that we can’t ever forget. This picture, taken by Ziv Koren, moved me deeply. It shows Eisenkot last Friday. Sitting at the grave of his son, Gal, of blessed memory. Gal was an IDF reservist who was killed while fighting Hamas terrorists in Gaza. Yes - is a former IDF Chief of Staff. Yes - he is a former minister in the war cabinet. Yes - he is a candidate for prime minister. And he is also a grieving father, shown here connecting with his late, heroic son. A reminder that we are a country filled with bereaved families. Whose loved ones made the ultimate sacrifice for the one and only Jewish state in our biblical and ancestral homeland. The nation of Israel lives!

Images of burning vehicles, thick smoke, and masked demonstrators carrying Palestinian flags have become a recurring sight in cities across Europe, North America, and elsewhere. Protesters have scaled public monuments, ignited flares, and spray-painted “Free Palestine” slogans on buildings and infrastructure, temporarily disrupting traffic, transit, and everyday activity. Observers and law-enforcement reports note that some of these gatherings have included chants or signs praising groups designated as terrorist organizations by Western governments, including Hamas. The same period has seen documented increase in antisemitic incidents and street-level violence in several jurisdictions, according to police data and monitoring groups. While many participants describe the events as political expression supporting Palestinian rights, critics contend that the combination of symbols, rhetoric, and disorder exceeds protected protest in practice. The repeated display of the Palestinian flag amid these scenes has prompted debate over whether authorities should treat its presence in disruptive or violent contexts as an indicator of extremism. Proponents of a clearer approach argue that doing so would allow police and officials to distinguish between ordinary demonstrations and gatherings linked to support for designated groups or rises in hate-related incidents, rather than addressing each episode of disorder as an isolated event. No major Western government has adopted such a policy to date. By ZVN Update on Facebook

Bryan Finkel reacted on thisBryan Finkel reacted on thisIf you listen to the haters and Hamas propagandists like Mamdani and El-Sayed - and their ridiculous cries of "occupation" - may be you didn't realize that at the time of the 10/7 massacre there was not one Israeli in Gaza. Indeed, in 2005 - under international pressure - Israel mistakenly withdrew every soldier, every military installation and 8,500 civilians from Gaza in an effort to attain "peace." \ The Arabs who refer to themselves as "Palestinians" elected the terror organization Hamas to power notwithstanding its barbaric charter which calls openly for the murder of Jews and the rejection of any efforts to achieve peaceful coexistence. You can read the Charter here : https://lnkd.in/eUHWp84n. True to form Hamas and Islamic Jihad launched thousands of cross-border attacks from the Gaza Strip against Israel, culminating in the 10/7 massacre.

Institutional Memory Is Critical in Roll-Up Strategies Roll-ups introduce complexity fast: Different comp models Different pricing philosophies Different staffing structures Without structured FP&A, institutional memory disappears with every acquisition. For active platform builders like Shore Capital Partners, Huron Capital, Tonka Bay Equity Partners, and GTCR LLC, integration velocity determines IRR. FP&A becomes the integration spine. It documents: Pricing assumptions Realization rates Utilization trends Distribution logic Reinvestment thresholds You can’t scale what you can’t standardize. You can’t standardize what you haven’t modeled. FP&A creates a common financial language across acquired entities — accelerating integration and protecting value creation timelines. #BuyAndBuild #RollUpStrategy #PlatformInvesting #PrivateEquityMidwest #PortfolioGovernance

Most owners with three or four LLCs aren't tracking them in one place — they're tracking them in three or four places, and the gaps between those places are where entities get dissolved. Every LLC has its own annual report due date, its own registered agent mail, and (if one of them is a California entity) its own $800 due April 15 regardless of activity. Miss one notice on one entity and you're not looking at a fine — you're looking at reinstatement paperwork and a stretch of "not in good standing" that can stall a refinance or a sale mid-transaction. We built a dashboard that puts every LLC an owner has — reports, agent mail, state-specific traps like California's flat fee — on one page with one set of reminders, instead of a spreadsheet nobody opens until something's already late. If you own more than one entity: how are you tracking compliance across all of them right now — dashboard, spreadsheet, or hoping the mail gets forwarded? https://lnkd.in/e5UvXG8V

Venture capital firms are institutional investors managing pools of capital from limited partners. They invest across multiple stages from seed ($500K-$2M) through growth equity ($20M+). VCs bring substantial capital, strong networks, board experience, and help with recruiting and strategic planning. However, they often seek board seats and have specific return requirements. Corporate venture capital arms invest on behalf of large corporations, typically focusing on strategic investments related to their parent company's business. CVCs can provide more than capital—potential partnerships, customer relationships, distribution channels, and industry expertise. Be aware that their strategic interests may not always perfectly align with what's best for your company.

fundcraft raised €12 million, co-led by Riverside Acceleration Capital and CCAP Investments. Total capital raised since 2021 founding now stands at €40 million. Platform supports more than 20,000 LP subscriptions across nearly 300 funds. Fundcraft signed as many new clients in H1 2026 as in all of 2025. Company obtained a French AIFM license in June 2026, with over €1 billion in mandated fund launches since. AI and automation are embedded directly into onboarding, reporting and waterfall calculations, not layered on top. "Applying automation and intelligence to core fund operations rather than treating it as a separate layer" that integration-first approach is exactly what convinced Riverside to deepen its bet on Fundcraft. Philadelphia just broke into the top 10 global VC markets, per the new PitchBook Global VC Ecosystem Rankings. Philly ranked No. 10 worldwide, driven by a strong six years of growth, its maturing investor base and late-stage activity. The region also landed in the top 20 markets for SaaS, fintech and healthcare, including No. 11 in healthcare — a nod to its established life sciences strength. Despite a mixed year for venture activity, the long-term trajectory is clear: Philadelphia’s startup ecosystem has serious global momentum.
