Candy Wood shared thisSometimes the best way to explain your job is with a caricature. Between supporting the CEO, juggling B2B social media strategy, keeping up with 30 open tabs, and responding to the occasional “crisis alert,” this little illustration might be the most accurate job description I’ve seen yet. Bonus points for including my two Yorkies, my work-from-home baseball cap, and the necklace I rarely take off. The reality of working in social media and strategy? Equal parts planning, problem-solving, and organized chaos—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Does anyone else feel like their job could be explained with a cartoon?

Candy Wood shared thisB2B social media is so much more than a feed—it’s where brand trust is built, relationships begin, and business growth takes off. I’m proud to share Thulium’s newest resource: 📘 "Winning Attention, Trust & Revenue in 2025+" — our B2B Social Media Playbook. At Thulium, we know that social media isn’t just about posting on X or jumping on trends. It’s about showing up strategically—with purpose, consistency, and a clear voice. In the B2B world, that means engaging buyers before they ever talk to sales, building community, and creating content that actually converts. This guide breaks down the signals brands need to cut through the noise: 🔹 The new B2B buyer mindset 🔹 Where to show up—and why it matters 🔹 Content that drives action 🔹 How to do social selling without being "salesy" 🔹 Making employee advocacy work (yes, really!) 🔹 Managing community + crises with intention 🔹 Metrics that actually tell the story I love that we’re calling these signals—because in a world drowning in content, it’s the signals that connect. If you're in B2B marketing, comms, sales, or social, this guide is packed with insights to help you turn your online presence into a real growth engine. 👉 Give it a read: https://lnkd.in/eNfQxzz4 Would love to hear what signal you’re focused on this year! #B2BMarketing #SocialMediaStrategy #DigitalGrowth #ContentMarketing #SocialSelling #EmployeeAdvocacy #Thulium #BrandStrategyWin Attention, Trust and Revenue in 2025 and BeyondWin Attention, Trust and Revenue in 2025 and Beyond

Candy Wood shared thisThis is a fantastic podcast to have on while you work today. Loving this conversation!Candy Wood shared this🎙️ In this episode, I got to speak with Tamara McCleary, CEO at Thulium and celebrated #CMO and global influencer on #EmergingTech. We talked about the influence of #AI on #Marketing, #SocialMedia and Politics and I asked her whether the 'Genie was already out of the bottle'. “It is getting to know us better than I think we sometimes consciously give attribution to…” she said. We talked about the #DeepFakes market, which is going through an extremely rapid compound annual growth rate (worth over $5 Billion by 2030) - “It’s our desire to consume this stuff. We love to be entertained. We love to laugh at these hysterical deep fakes. We spread this stuff. It reinforces a belief system we already have and so we share it" said Tamara. We also touched on #GeneticEngineering, with Tamara calling for more thought about downstream impacts, in generations to come: “What I find missing in the world today is balance. We have to think about downstream effects. What are the unintended consequences? We talk about this in genetic engineering – they are called off-edits.” Amongst the other topics we discussed were the >$1.1 billion NATO Venture fund for AI, #Robots and #SpaceTech; #Ethics; Ancient Apocalyptic texts; and what we can learn from them in the pursuit of General #ArtificialIntelligence. 🎧 Want to hear more? Candy Wood reposted thisCandy Wood reposted thisWould You Rather Be Led by AI 🤖 or a Human❓ Will AI 🤖 Replace Human Leaders❓ The Surprising Answer from HBR Research ⬇ "In my career, I have often experienced leaders who didn't understand my area of expertise and were mostly focused on their own advancement. In many cases, I think I would have been better off with an AI bot that could be precise, unbiased, and uber-smart in how to develop me and guide my work." ~ Anonymous employee from a global consulting firm This provocative statement sets the stage for a fascinating exploration of AI's role in leadership, as revealed in a recent Harvard Business Review article by Rasmus Hougaard, Jacqueline Carter, and Robert Stembridge 🔑 Key insights from their research: 💠 65% of respondents were "somewhat" to "completely" confident in AI's ability to develop a strategy. 💠 45% are comfortable receiving AI-driven performance feedback, ⭐ but only if it's positive. 💠 69% have concerns about AI making decisions on hiring, promotions, and work assignments. The verdict? While AI excels in data analysis and decision-making, human leaders still hold the edge in crucial areas: ✅ Emotional intelligence ✅ Authentic connections ✅ Navigating complex human dynamics The authors propose a balanced approach, leveraging AI's strengths while doubling down on human qualities like awareness, compassion, and wisdom. As leaders, our challenge is clear: embrace AI's potential while cultivating our uniquely human leadership skills. The future belongs to those who can masterfully blend both. What are your thoughts? Candy Wood reacted on thisCandy Wood reacted on thisMost people assume an AI agent is the same on day 365 as it was on day 1. That assumption is going to cost a lot of organizations their lead, or the company. An agent that has spent twelve months inside your company is not simply a year older than a freshly deployed one. It is categorically more capable - because it has accumulated something that can't be bought, copied, or downloaded: institutional memory. The context of your operation. Which strategies work and which quietly fail. The thousand small episodes that make an experienced employee worth more than a new hire with the same resume. We already understand this for people. A ten-year veteran and a first-week hire can have identical credentials and wildly different value. The difference is accumulated, on the job, and non-transferable. Real agents work the same way - except the accumulation compounds much faster. No retirement. No forgetting. Every day, measurably more capable than the last. This flips how you should think about timing. For most technology, waiting is prudent - let it mature, let prices fall, adopt once it's proven. Agentic labor inverts that logic. The advantage isn't in the software you buy - it's in the experience your agents accumulate. And experience only accrues to whoever started earlier. So the gap between the company that starts this year and the one that starts in two won't be two years wide. It'll be two years of compounded, non-copyable experience wide - and the one behind can't buy its way back to parity, because the thing it's missing was never for sale. The moat here isn't the model. It's the memory. And it's being poured, right now, by whoever moved first.

Candy Wood liked thisCandy Wood liked thisWand's foundational AI labor infrastructure is built on a principle many enterprise AI deployments have not implemented: the agent must know where to stop. A tolerance threshold is not a technical setting. It is an organizational governance decision — the explicit boundary between what an agent is authorized to handle and where human judgment becomes mandatory. Set it too high and agents operate beyond their competence, producing errors at a scale no human team can catch in time. Set it too low and every task escalates, humans are overwhelmed, and the deployment collapses under its own overhead. Getting that line right — and enforcing it consistently across every agent, every workflow, every team — is the central governance challenge of the Dual Workforce. Wand's Agent Management infrastructure makes the tolerance threshold a first-class design decision. Each agent operates against defined confidence parameters. When it reaches its threshold, it stops, packages the full context of what it found and what decision is needed, and routes to the right human before the window for a good decision closes — not after an error has already occurred. The organizations that define their thresholds deliberately are building a governed Dual Workforce. Those that leave escalation to emerge organically are running unsupervised automations and calling them agents. Every agent-hour that runs within a well-defined threshold compounds into an Experience Moat — institutional knowledge and operational trust that improvised deployments will not be able to replicate. Where in your organization does agent authority currently end — by design or by accident? #DualWorkforce #HybridWorkforce #AgenticWorkforce #FoundationalLaborInfrastructure #EnterpriseAI #YourFutureWorkforce #FutureOfWork

Candy Wood liked thisCandy Wood liked thisWe’re thrilled to welcome Ravi Agarwal to Wand AI as President, Growth, for APAC and Japan. Ravi’s career is a masterclass in building markets. Working closely with Andy Grove at Intel, he helped open Japan and broader Asia for the company — and conceived the initiative that became the iconic “Intel Inside” global campaign. He went on to serve as President of Intel China and held senior leadership roles across Intel, Microsoft, NXP, and IDT. Building in Asia, winning with large enterprises, and scaling teams in markets where the category is still forming — these are exactly the capabilities the Dual Workforce opportunity now demands across APAC and Japan. As organizations across the region move from pilots to production-scale agentic workforces, Ravi’s strategic depth and operating experience make him the right leader to bring Wand’s foundational labor infrastructure to the region’s most significant institutions. The Dual Workforce era is global — and APAC + Japan are central to the story. Welcome to Wand, Ravi. #DualWorkforce #YourFutureWorkforce #EnterpriseAI #WandAI #APAC

Candy Wood liked thisCandy Wood liked thisTwo years ago, Wand started treating AI agents as workers, not tools: each with an identity, performance data, and real governance baked into foundational AI labor infrastructure. Our enterprise customers have been running Wand OS in production ever since — including the people responsible for managing those agents as a governed agentic workforce. HBR has now put a name to that role. The Dual Workforce only works when leaders can see how every agent learns, escalates, and consumes budget in real time, not in a quarterly review deck. The question for CEOs is no longer whether they need leaders for the agentic workforce — it is whether their infrastructure is ready — or whether they're still managing agents from spreadsheets. #DualWorkforce #YourFutureWorkforce #AgenticWorkforce #EnterpriseAI
