You could be dealing with a gate issue at one location while another lot is filling up, or helping a parker when the team on-site is already stretched. At Get My Parking, we’ve always kept one thing in mind. Being physically at the location shouldn’t be the only way to manage parking. That thinking is a big part of ExpressLane. It gives operators more visibility and control over their operations, wherever they are. Chirag Jain liked thisParking is not boring. It is not like watching paint dry. Although, judging by this mural, I may have made that comparison harder to defend. The parking industry is massive and complex. Behind every parker experience are people, vehicles, access control, payments, permits, revenue, data, hardware, software, exceptions, and the occasional question of, “Why did the gate do that?” That is a lot more complicated than a car sitting in a space. The good news is that the AI era gives operators room to think bigger. With AVA and her agents helping manage repetitive operational work, surface issues, and support teams, operators can spend less time chasing routine tasks and more time improving the business: How do we make operations more resilient? How do we build a better product? How do we make parking feel effortless for the people using it? At Get My Parking, our technology-agnostic, API-connected platform helps bring systems, data, and operations together without forcing teams into a single hardware ecosystem. The result is more time for operators to focus on what matters and a smoother, more frictionless experience for parkers. So yes, parking is complex. It is also anything but boring. While my name may be on the award, this recognition represents the collective effort, dedication, and commitment of the entire EasyPark Enforcement Programs team. I am proud to accept this recognition on behalf of our Enforcement Supervisors and Events team, Dispatchers, Patrollers, and our Security and Enforcement vendor partners. Every day, these teams work behind the scenes and on the front lines to keep our operations moving, respond to challenges, support our customers and clients, and continuously improve our enforcement programs. A special thank you to the EasyPark Executive Team for giving me the opportunity, trust, and support to pursue my vision for our enforcement programs. Having leadership that believes in innovation, operational excellence, and the people behind the work has allowed us to continue growing and evolving. Lastly, a very special thank you to the person who has guided, mentored, and supported me throughout this journey. If it were not for your guidance and belief in me, I would not be where I am today. Often, people confuse messaging with content, but they're not the same. Content is the output, while messaging is the backbone strategy, and you must get that right. I have seen companies with some of the most talented experts fail miserably in merely communicating what they do and, most importantly, whom they created it for. The second important thing is designing 'Messaging Systems' for your organization, especially in the age of AI-generated content. I have written about this in my newsletter before.
