    - Present

The Livonia Jaycees is a non-profit group for people, ages 18-39. It is a great opportunity to network with young professionals, learn about fundraising, and give back to the community. Before I was a Jaycee, in October 2010, I organized and ran the first "Melanoma: It's Not Just Black and White" fundraiser, and we raised over $10,000! Now as a member, I continue to support and organize charity events, as well as bring prospective members to meetings/events in hopes that they join, too.

https://coachfrankfoundation.com/ We want to increase the number of underprivileged girls playing team sports. We believe (and research supports) team sport participation impacts adolescents positively, however, not every teen and preteen has the ability to participate. Youth sports have become an estimated $17 billion industry (The Aspen Institute, 2020), and we want to help eliminate the financial burden to the families who cannot afford to keep up. Coach Frank was dedicated to providing opportunities to participate on every team he ever coached. He offered resources, he gave his time and he provided consistent support. Because he’s no longer here to make an impact, we want to do so on his behalf.
