Chris Baggott reposted thisChris Baggott reposted thisHuge brag/shoutout post for ClusterTruck. It’s been a busy week, so after work we hit the neighborhood pool with the kiddo for a bit and we didn’t want to cook. So it was ClusterTruck for the win. From clicking checkout to the food at our front curb was maybe like 20 minutes. That’s insane. Kiddo got wings, I got The Mug burger (a Greenfield classic), and my wife got the breaded tenderloin. Everything showed up hot and was incredible. I had been craving a burger and I swear that burger hit my cravings to a T. The pickles were even my favorite kind. My wife orders ClusterTruck every Tuesday when she works downtown, but tonight we gave the Carmel location a shot from home and it was a 10/10. Thanks ClusterTruck for delivering. In more than one way! 😂 Jon Canter Chris Baggott

Chris Baggott shared thisProud of you!Chris Baggott shared thisHad the pleasure of being invited to Revenova’s user conference last month to speak with hundreds of logistics leaders about how they can leverage digital labor to transform the way their businesses operate. We focused on how as Agentic Enterprises, logistics organizations can better: - Find and win more revenue opportunities - Scale operations more efficiently - Improve customer support while preserving the human relationships that matter most Logistics is entering a period of major transformation. As the industry continues to grow and complexity increases, the companies that win will be the ones that rethink how work gets done. With Agentforce, and Revenova’s Artimius AI platform capabilities, logistics companies have an opportunity to move beyond incremental efficiency and start building a true agentic strategy for the future. Excited to see how Revenova and their customers continue leading that shift. Sarah Selzer ☁️

Chris Baggott shared thisI’m still in awe of this team and 10 years on nobody else has figured out how to deliver quality food fast and without fees Here’s to our leader Janet Monroe and the next decade!Chris Baggott shared thisSo this happened yesterday… Mayor Joe Hogsett officially proclaimed March 31, 2026: ClusterTruck Day Standing in our offices, he read the proclamation out loud, in the exact place where it all started, surrounded by our co-founders, investors, employees, delivery team and community partners. It was a proud moment. One I won’t forget. I kept looking around the room at so many familiar faces, thinking about all the chapters of our story. In 2016, nothing about this company was certain. We were building in real time. The menu, the systems, the software, the model. Some things worked, plenty didn’t, and we kept going anyway. Having the Mayor recognize our journey and the positive impact we’ve had on the city of Indianapolis meant so much to all of us. Standing there yesterday, hearing the proclamation, it felt like a real milestone. Proof of what this team has built together, and what’s possible when people commit to solving real problems, even when the path isn’t clear. This recognition belongs to all of the people behind ClusterTruck. The ones who took a chance early. The ones who stayed through the hard parts. And the team that continues to show up every day to make us even better. I’m especially grateful to our co-founders, Mike Cunningham and Chris Baggott, for being there with us yesterday, and to Dan McFadden, who couldn’t join but has been an essential part of this journey. Thank you for taking the original leap, and for trusting me now to carry us forward. We’ve come a long way from the opening day of our first kitchen.

Chris Baggott shared thisAmazing job team! “The journey of 1,000 miles begins with the first step”. I’m sure the same is true for ClusterTruck franchising!Chris Baggott shared thisA few weeks ago, I shared the news that my first signed franchise deal would be opening soon. This past Friday, February 27th, we brought it to life. ClusterTruck Carmel (aka first franchised location) is officially OPEN! It was a pretty surreal moment - watching a kitchen power up for the first time, seeing our first franchisee, Joe Curtis, his awesome GM Bayleigh Wilkerson, and their incredible team in action, fulfilling those first orders, and upholding the ClusterTruck standard. It takes a massive amount of hard work to get from a signed lease to Opening Day, and Joe’s team executed it flawlessly. Special shoutout to the team at Dittoe Public Relations for keeping us on track with an incredible Grand Opening plan. Here are a few snapshots from the day. To everyone in the Carmel and Westfield area—your food delivery revolution has arrived. What are you ordering first? 🍔👇 #ClusterTruck #FoodDelivery #GrandOpening #Franchising #CarmelIN #WestfieldIN

Chris Baggott reposted thisChris Baggott reposted thisBuilding an emerging franchise brand has reinforced that scalability is about structure. Delivering fresh, high-quality meals on demand at scale is hard. Labor can be unpredictable, margins unforgiving, and frankly, if you’re not creating a great customer experience every time, what are you even doing? In 2025, we spent our time refining our systems to reduce friction and complexity. What’s been encouraging to me in recent conversations is seeing interest shift from what we offer to how we do it, our technology, operational processes, and the discipline that makes repeatability possible. As we enter the new year, we will continue to focus on: - franchisee-first unit economics - operational consistency at scale - evolving our technology We’ve chosen discipline over speed, knowing that when the foundation is right, growth follows naturally.

Chris Baggott reposted thisChris Baggott reposted thisIn early 2025, I joined Columbia Club's Columbian Business Network (CBN) committee. Along with my fellow committee members, we put in a tremendous amount of work to revitalize the CBN with new monthly events, speaker series, and networking opportunities for Club members and guests. By the end of the year, we tallied 12 events in total - packing the house for each one! We brought together nearly 1,000 attendees for professional networking and educational opportunities. This week, fellow Columbian and committee member Eli Miller, MBA took us all out to celebrate a successful year. Thank you to everyone who promoted and attended our events. Thank you to our speakers and presenters. And thank you to Club staff for your hard work behind the scenes. If you weren't able to attend in 2025, that's okay! We have plenty in store for 2026. Chris Baggott shared thisSo proud to have witnessed you nailing this! I will NEVER forget to taking a water sample at Disney!!Chris Baggott shared thisEntrepreneur vulnerability post loading... Isaac Pellerin and my conversation with Dave Kohl on the #MakeWaterWork podcast was a walk down memory lane. We talked about 120Water's founding as a consumer kit company nearly a decade ago and how we literally invented a new, affordable, way for consumers to access lab quality water testing at their door step. I was even able to dig up some old pictures of our kits and us fulfilling orders out the ClusterTruck conference room Chris Baggott and on my dining room table after my kiddos would go to bed. Watch the full podcast episode here: https://lnkd.in/gQePZiia Listen here: https://bit.ly/4iKAL1P As I think about those early days they were hard...really hard. Something in my gut knew this business needed to exist in the market, but there were some humbling lessons I needed to learn early on to keep myself going. Here are some I've been reflecting on: - Solving problems that matter makes hard work easier. While I didn't know exactly what the business model would evolve to, it was obvious the market conditions were changing and we had an opportunity to be part of the solution to protect public health for generations to come. I had not felt that in any of the start-ups I had previously been involved with and that was motivating! - Listen to the customer. I took every meeting I could with current and potential customers to better understand their problems and find common themes so we could build better solutions that drove differentiation and value in the market. - Stay flexible. Pivots are inevitable in entrepreneurship. Your idea may not be the best or right idea at the end of the day. Staying humble enough to recognize that is an important part of the journey. - Make and iterate on decisions. No one can truly prepare you for the breadth and volume of decisions you must make with limited time and data. Getting comfortable making decisions (especially the really hard ones) and managing the outcomes is a critical muscle you just have to develop. Remember: "A good plan executed today is better than the perfect plan tomorrow." - Failure is inevitable as an entrepreneur. Even if you ultimately succeed you will fail at something along the journey. Understanding that failure is temporary obstacle you must overcome to achieve your ultimate objective is a crucial mindset you need to have. For the other entrepreneurs reading the post, I'm curious what early lessons you personally needed to learn to keep the journey going? #FemaleFounder #Founderlife #Hustle #Entrepreneurship #Startup #WaterInnovation #Innovation

Chris Baggott liked thisChris Baggott liked thisThere is so much opportunity in my role which is exciting but at times overwhelming (what to do first?!) My go to the last month when I feel a little uncomfortable and unsure what to work on next is to go old school and brainstorm and brain dump on Post It’s my different work streams and what’s next. I then digitize and prioritize and put due dates to things (& also have a massive Claude project helping with all the things) but something about the physical Post It process just works for me. 🤓 Happy Monday and happy Post It day over here!

Chris Baggott liked thisChris Baggott liked thisI'm fresh back from my fourth appearance at the QSR Evolution show. While I probably spent the least amount of time in sessions at this particular event because of prior day-to-day commitments, I really feel I was able to see once again how the finest of our QSR industry come together and share their insights, their thoughts, their fears, and their aspirations in a way that perhaps no other industry sees. In what's fast becoming one of my favorite ways of collaborating with new friends, with old friends, prospects, and clients alike, I host dinners for no more than 10 people. I ask pertinent, timely questions about the role of AI in their business and lives, and about their perspectives on their futures. Every time, something new comes up that makes the room sit up and take notice. I appreciate the following folks for coming along and embracing the conversation. David Bloom Rishi Nigam Urvi Patel Dan Gertsacov Zach Noren Brian Wallunas. To the panel that I was part of, which many have said was one of their favorite panels of the event, I was in great, esteemed company. Over those 45 minutes, we tackled perhaps one of the most important subjects for enterprise AI leaders right now: the ROI of AI. I think the core takeaway for those of you who were not in the room is that this isn't a technology challenge, but a leadership and mindset one. If you can see the capability of what can be achieved through the lens of more, not less, and the enablement of data unification and disarmament of the silos that disconnect our organizations, you're in a better place than most to truly succeed with these new fundamental tools to drive success in our businesses. Thank you to the amazing Jessa Parette Thibault Roux Trish Heusel Kartik P. and our moderator Atul Sood for such a great conversation. Thanks also, as ever, to Danny Klein and the #qsrevolution2026 team for putting on another amazing conference. It's a highlight of the year!

Chris Baggott liked thisChris Baggott liked thisThose who know me know I love a good in-person event. I love meeting new people and firmly believe that local store marketing is key to building a successful restaurant. You have to get out there, get your brand in front of people in your community, and put your food in people's mouths (they'll feed themselves, of course, but you get the idea). If you're not excited and willing to promote your brand, how can you expect others to do it for you? Two weeks ago, I got to work alongside our Carmel, IN, franchisee and his family for the annual Taste of Carmel benefiting the Carmel Education Foundation. Each time we do a sampling event, our delivery-first model allows us to keep hot food deliveries coming in so nothing we serve is cold/prepared hours beforehand (and as with our kitchens, no heat lamps needed!) Cheers to executing your first major sampling event, and thanks for letting me be a part of it Joe Curtis!

Thanks to our industry publications for giving me an opportunity to highlight the value of state-level advocacy as local lawmakers are driving consequential decisions on nutrition policy and environmental regulation. Engagement, coalition-building, and strategic compromise can shape outcomes for dairy manufacturers nationwide.

Press Release For Immediate Release MyFarmExchange Launches Groundbreaking Agri-Tech Platform with Beta Program Across Farmers, Universities, and FFA Glasgow, KY— [Sept 30, 2025] — MyFarmExchange (MFE), an agri-tech company built by farmers, for farmers, today announced the successful launch of its beta program — a milestone that brings its powerful data-driven farm management platform into the hands of over a dozen farmers, two major universities, and one Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter in Kentucky. Designed to help farmers make faster, smarter decisions, the MyFarmExchange platform combines data, analytics, and collaboration tools to improve operations and drive efficiency in an increasingly complex agricultural landscape. “Farmers need help — now more than ever,” said Frank Trigg, founder and CEO of MyFarmExchange. “We built this platform to give growers the tools, insights, and shared knowledge they need to compete, thrive, and plan for the future. Our beta launch is an important step toward building a stronger, more connected agricultural community.” Built for Farmers, Backed by Innovation Unlike traditional top-down agri-tech products, MFE was developed in close partnership with working farmers, universities and agricultural reserchers. The platform provides: Real-time data and analytics to support operational decision-making. Collaboration and shared knowledge among farmers, universities, and ag organizations. Efficiency tools that help farmers cut costs, increase productivity, and reduce guesswork. The pilot program will generate critical feedback from its farmer and academic partners to further refine the technology ahead of a broader rollout. Driving the Future of Agriculture As challenges mount — from rising costs to unpredictable climate impacts — MFE’s mission is to empower farmers with accessible, easy-to-use technology that puts actionable insights at their fingertips. “Our goal is simple,” added Joe Trigg- Co-Founder and COO. “Harness the power of data and community to make farming easier, smarter, and more sustainable. We believe collaboration is the future of agriculture, and MyFarmExchange is here to lead that future.” For more information about MyFarmExchange and updates on the beta program, visit www.myfarmexchange.com.

Wisconsin potato industry navigates volatile national market Wisconsin's potato industry is facing a national oversupply and declining prices, despite steadier local market performance. While farmers see prices of $15.00 to $16.00 per hundredweight, uncontracted potatoes in regions like Idaho are as low as $2.00 to $3.00, well below the $12.00 breakeven point. The upcoming Grower Education Conference will focus on price issues and potential regulatory changes affecting crop-management tools, such as neonicotinoids....

Valency Fund • 4K followers
Writing about the Green Bay Innovation Group (GBIG) 5P Showcase Expo took me deep into "Why?" Valency Fund was there. Link to full post in the comments. THE BIG PICTURE - Innovation in “forest products” combines three pillars of Wisconsin strengths: advanced manufacturing, agribusiness, and technology. - Even deeply established industries require businesses that can adapt. The 5Ps? Packaging, paper, plastic, print, pulp (and converting!) THE LEGACY - Paper making in Wisconsin began in 1848, the same year Wisconsin became a state. - Today, Wisconsin is the #1 state for paper products. - Forest products are 11% of Wisconsin manufacturing jobs (pulp & paper (69% of gross output), wood & furniture products (30%), forestry & logging (1%). THE DISRUPTION - Since 1990, demand for printing & writing paper down 50% and newsprint down 90%. - Demand for packaging related paper is up 33% in that time. THE INNOVATION - Innovation in “forest products” combines three pillars of Wisconsin strengths: advanced manufacturing, agribusiness, and technology. - Corrugated, specialty, and food-safe paper formats that require different equipment, expertise, and business models. - A family-owned, Wisconsin-based company founded in 1933 with 40 locations across the country completed construction in 2021 of a new mill in Green Bay that uses 100% recycled materials. The first new paper mill in WI in 30 years! (Blog post has link to video of the plant.) Here’s our reminder that even deeply established industries require businesses that can adapt.
