Sheraton San Diego Resort Appoints Joseph Mills as Executive Chef Sheraton San Diego Resort has announced the appointment of Joseph Mills as Executive Chef, bringing on board a culinary leader with more than 25 years of experience across luxury hotels and resorts in the United States. Chef Mills joins the resort from Hotel del Coronado, where he served as Executive Sous Chef. His career includes Executive Chef roles at renowned properties such as The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites Los Angeles, The Biltmore Los Angeles, Boulders Resort & Spa Scottsdale, Curio Collection by Hilton, and ADERO Scottsdale Resort, Autograph Collection®. He has also been part of several hotel opening teams, including Hilton North Scottsdale at Cavasson and Sheraton Los Angeles San Gabriel, and has held culinary leadership positions with Arizona Biltmore, JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa, and other luxury destinations. At Sheraton San Diego Resort, Chef Mills will oversee culinary operations across the resort's five dining venues and extensive meetings and events portfolio, including more than 132,000 sq. ft. of event space. His appointment comes at an exciting time for the resort following its recently completed $123 million transformation.
