Chris Kostecki shared thisThe name of the game, the more you know.Chris Kostecki shared thisWhat should we be measuring now? That question has come up on nearly every client call we've had this year, and it makes complete sense. AI models are answering questions directly and guiding people toward decisions in ways that often never touch a brand's website. The rankings and clicks so many teams relied on for years can only tell part of the story now. In our latest blog post, Brittan King, fractional CRO at iPullRank, talks about how to choose KPIs for the new era of AI Search that reflect where your business is today and where you want it to go. It also covers: - How often leaders actually use the KPIs they track (according to McKinsey & Company, only 29 percent of the time). - How to tell a citation that looks good in a report apart from one that means something. - What impacts your org chart can have on what you’re measuring. As Brittan put it, "KPIs are crucial, but there's no one answer to what your KPIs should be." Read the full post below:

Chris Kostecki shared thisIf you offer Google Campaign management and do not know how to setup campaigns properly, contact an expert like yours truly - align your practices to meet the client needs and retain them longer. I see a lot of sloppy accounts that should not be wasting their clients budgets this way! Pic of my sloppy garden for attention. Diligent Digital Marketing Corp. link below.

Chris Kostecki shared thisCompliance will cost you extraChris Kostecki shared thisGoogle's AI wrote ad descriptions for one of my clients. Google then disapproved them. For containing a phone number in the ad text. Which is a Google policy. That Google wrote. And then broke. They sat there not serving. Nothing tells you when copy you didn't write gets rejected. AI Max is checked by default when you create a campaign. Ad customization comes with it. But it is not smart enough to follow its own rules. Check what it's doing in your accounts.

Chris Kostecki shared thisIf you need tracking and reporting resources, Nayeem is thorough and committed to doing it right!Chris Kostecki shared thisIt was my very first Looker Studio (Data Studio) I made to date. Not only did my client love it, his client also loved. I first learned about Looker Studio from Kyle Rushton McGregor. Then I learned in depth about it from Chris Kostecki. I think it is super important for freelancers to confess what I know and what I don't. I have never overpromised any of my clients. Thanks, both of you. If anyone needs Looker Studio, tracking (including server-side tracking using Stape), and GA4 set up, we can talk. I have done over 71+ tracking projects down the road and top rated on Upwork

Chris Kostecki shared thisCan't find a better second set of eyes! Expert Advice > AI AdviceChris Kostecki shared thisI have some slots open this fall for Google Ads account work! If you have been wanting another set of experienced eyes on your account, now is a great time to do it. Did you ask AI how to best manage your account? Did it work? Do you want to know if it is full of bad advice? Message me. And finally... If you want to get into a position to manage your Google Ads account yourself, my Learn & Return service is exactly what you're looking for! With this service I thoroughly review your account, we discuss strategies and implement them together. I then work with you for several months (longer if you want too). If any of this sounds intriguing to you, message me! Link to my contact form in the comments too.

Chris Kostecki liked thisChris Kostecki liked this“We already have a CRM.” Cool. Can you explain 1 sale without opening 4 other tabs? Pick a deal your team closed last week. Where did the buyer come from? Who booked them? Who took the call? What did they agree to, and how much have they paid? If answering that means opening your CRM, Stripe, a call recording, the CRM connected to the CRM, and a spreadsheet, you can see why your manager keeps asking everyone for updates. The information exists but someone still has to put it together. That’s the job we built RevPhlo to handle. Call outcomes, cash collected, the setter, the closer and the source belong together. And when someone books with their work email but pays with their personal email, you can match the payment to the correct call so the sale gets attributed properly. You keep the tools your team uses. RevPhlo connects the reporting around them. Here’s how I’d evaluate it: Start with a question your current reporting makes annoying to answer. Which funnel brought in the most cash? Which closer performs best with those leads? Which payments still need matching? Then look at how RevPhlo handles it. Book a demo: https://www.revphlo.com/

Chris Kostecki reacted on thisChris Kostecki reacted on thisSome sales reps would rather lose the deal than let the prospect correct them. The rep decides they understand the problem. Then the buyer says: “That’s not quite what I meant.” There’s your chance to learn something. Instead, the rep explains why their interpretation is right. They’ve seen this before. They work with companies like this all the time. The buyer just doesn’t understand the underlying issue yet. Maybe. But you haven’t earned the right to challenge their understanding by refusing to check your own. Ask them to explain the difference. “You mentioned that leads were coming in, but sales were slow. Which part did I misunderstand?” They might tell you the leads are fine and the sales team is fine, but nobody can approve a purchase until next quarter. That changes what you should recommend. It may also mean there’s nothing useful for you to sell them today. If you’re so attached to your diagnosis that new information annoys you, you’re making it difficult to have an honest conversation. A prospect should be able to correct your understanding without having to argue with you.

What I didn’t know then was that beyond just a network of professional colleagues, I’d get some pretty great friends too. So they’re right, whoever the proverbial “they” are. Today, said network afforded us at Gorton's an awesome perk with one of LAViT Beverage Systems’ new machines. Amongst the employees chatting and making drinks, we got to catch up and reminisce about the good old days. Happy to see that Jill Piscopo and Adam Chojnacki can’t seem to shake the single serve beverage world because it brought not only some yummy cold bevvies, but a great ☕️ reunion to Gloucester ☺️

Before scaling wholesale CTV across more client accounts, agencies should review a few key areas. Check inventory sources. Direct deals can help control costs, while overreliance on programmatic paths may raise them. Review frequency caps so ads reach enough unique viewers without overexposing one household. Confirm brand safety and fraud filters are in place to protect client budgets and reputations. Wholesale CTV helps agencies access premium inventory at wholesale prices, with transparent reporting and expert support. Schedule a consultation to see how wholesale pricing can support your next campaign.

For brick and mortar businesses operating in the Tri-State area, local SEO is no longer optional. As customers increasingly rely on “near me” searches across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, local SEO for brick and mortar stores directly influences foot traffic, phone calls, and revenue. Unlike general SEO, local SEO for brick and mortar stores requires a tighter focus on geography, accuracy, and consistency. In competitive Tri-State markets, where many businesses operate across multiple cities or even multiple states, success depends on sending clear, trustworthy signals to search engines and customers alike. https://lnkd.in/eveNwD9D
