Dave Pearson shared thisWe’re excited to share something new we’ve been working on. At 215Secure, we’ve launched a new online store called 2BoysSecurity — a place where customers can easily browse and purchase many of the security products we work with every day. Over the years we’ve had a lot of people ask where they can buy the same hardware we recommend and install. This store is our way of making those products more accessible for homeowners, small businesses, and anyone interested in improving their security. If you’re curious, feel free to check it out and let us know what you think. We’ll be continuing to add products over time. 🔗 https://2boyssecurity.com Appreciate the support!

Dave Pearson posted thisWe’ve been pretty heads-down at 215Secure lately — and that’s a good thing. Over the past several months, we’ve been tightening our internal processes, leveling up how we deliver service, and preparing to add two technicians to support what’s coming next. What we focus on: 🔐 Access control (ASSA ABLOY Accentra) 📦 Package room solutions (Luxer One) 🎥 Video & virtual monitoring 🚨 Traditional security monitoring Who we support: • Small & mid-size businesses • K-12 schools & colleges • Local & municipal government • Multifamily & property management teams If you’re responsible for security, access, or operations, let’s connect. Dave Pearson shared this2026, here we come. As we close out the year, I’m grateful for the people, customers, and partners who helped bring 215Secure to where we are today. We’ve built a strong foundation — and we’re just getting started. Looking ahead, we’re focused on thoughtful growth, expanding our footprint, and bringing on the right people to help lead the next phase of the business. That includes opportunities for experienced security professionals who want real responsibility, hands-on leadership, and the chance to build something meaningful. If this resonates — or if you know someone who should be part of what we’re building — feel free to DM me. Wishing you and yours a happy, healthy New Year.

Dave Pearson shared thisDonation Request: Pop Warner Nationals | 11U Eastern Regional Champions Dear friends, family, and community, My wife and I are reaching out for support on behalf of our son Kellan and his amazing 11U football team. They just accomplished something incredible — they won the Eastern Regional Championship, earning the right to represent our entire region at the Pop Warner National Football Championship in North Carolina, where they’ll compete for a chance to play in the Pop Warner Super Bowl. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these boys. They’ve worked all season — early practices (starting in July), long drives, bruises, sweat, and heart — and now they get to take the field against the best teams from across the country. However, getting to Nationals comes with significant travel, lodging, and food expenses for each player and family. Many of our kids and coaches would not be able to participate without help from generous people like you. We are asking for donations of any amount to help cover the costs for players and coaches! Every dollar helps bring them one step closer to living out their dream on a national stage. Your support means more than you know — not just to them, but to every parent, coach, and volunteer who has poured into this season. If you are able to help, we would be deeply grateful. Donation link: https://lnkd.in/eTSwQgUf Thank you for supporting our kids, believing in youth sports, and helping make this incredible opportunity possible. Dave Pearson reacted on thisDave Pearson reacted on thisI’ve been a little quiet here on LinkedIn lately, and there’s a reason. I’m currently going through chemotherapy after being diagnosed with Stage 4 Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL), a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. I’m sharing my story because I want people to understand something important: Cancer doesn’t always look like cancer. I didn’t “look sick.” One of my first signs was tiny red spots on my arms and legs, petechiae, along with a lot of bruising coming out of no where. I assumed some of it was just part of getting older and menopause. Then I started having pain in my left side. I also noticed my stomach was becoming distended. I know my body, and I knew something wasn’t right. So I went to the emergency room. That decision changed everything. They discovered my spleen was significantly enlarged and that there was cancer involvement. I ultimately had my spleen removed. Now I’m going through chemotherapy and periodic blood transfusions. My biggest message is simple: Know your body. Be your own advocate. Don’t automatically explain away changes because you’re getting older, stressed, tired, or think it’s “just menopause.” If something doesn’t feel right, ask questions and push for answers. If sharing my experience helps even one person recognize something in their own body and take action, then it’s worth sharing. So, if you’ve wondered where I’ve been… I’m still here. I'm still working. I’m fighting. And I’m taking it one day at a time. I’ll continue sharing my journey, the good days, the difficult days, and everything in between. I will get better...I'm not going anywhere!! Stay tuned… I’m just getting started. 💪💚🙏❤️ Follow my entire journey IG - peggycaruso_ FB - Peggy Palombo Caruso Tik Tok - peggy_caruso (green heart for my Lymphoma) #Lymphoma #DLBCL #fightingcancer #CancerAwareness #KnowYourBody #BeYourOwnAdvocate #stillworking #Kerisystems

Dave Pearson liked thisDave Pearson liked thisYour security protocol may be protecting a site that no longer exists. A response plan can be perfectly written. And still be wrong. Because the site changed. • A tenant moved out. • A gate changed. • A camera moved. • A vendor gained access. • A new schedule was introduced. None of these changes looks like a security project. But every one of them can change how an operator should interpret an event. That is where protocol drift becomes a security risk. The question is not: “When was the protocol last reviewed?” The better question is: “What changed at the site that could change an operator’s decision?” Strong monitoring operations treat site changes as triggers for review: • Access changes • Camera relocations • New contacts • Construction activity • Schedule changes • New risk areas Because a monitoring team can only make the right decision with the right context. For white-label security partners, this matters even more. The end client does not see the vendor behind the operation. They see the response. A protocol is only current when the site is current inside the monitoring center. #SecurityOperations #RemoteVideoMonitoring #PhysicalSecurity #SecurityIntegrators

Dave Pearson liked thisDave Pearson liked thisToday, I’m starting a new chapter: moving to Spain. This wouldn’t be possible without my incredible team Interlix Staffing and the flexibility of remote work. I’m truly grateful to be part of a team that allows me to pursue new experiences while continuing to grow, contribute, and take on new challenges. Growth happens when we step outside our comfort zone, and this move is a big step for me. It’s about embracing the unknown, facing new challenges, learning, and becoming a better version of myself along the way. And even with the time zone difference, one thing won’t change: my commitment, responsibility, and dedication are stronger than ever. Here’s to embracing new beginnings, and trusting the journey ahead! #RemoteWork #InterlixStaffing #Recruiter #Growth

Dave Pearson liked thisDave Pearson liked thisI’m heading back to Babson College for one reason: to talk about the skill behind every successful business. Sales. On October 8th, I’ll be attending the Babson Sales Summit and speaking on the Recent Graduate Sales Panel alongside Alexandra Nunn, George Bauer, Emma Mumby, Joseph MacNair, and other incredible Babson alumni. In attendance will be leaders from organizations like: → Salesforce → ZoomInfo → Bullhorn → And many more And the biggest conversation of the day? How AI is changing one of the most tried-and-true parts of business: selling. I’ll be sharing what I’ve learned building Interlix Staffing from $0 to $1M in ARR within one year of graduating from Babson. The wins. The mistakes. And the sales conversations that actually moved the business forward. A huge thank-you to Professor Vincent (Vini) Onyemah for continuing to pioneer the conversations that truly move the needle in sales. The link to register is below. And if you can’t make it, stay tuned. I’ll be sharing my biggest takeaways after the summit.

Dave Pearson liked thisDave Pearson liked this🌦️Never give up! Last Thursday marked 10 years since the night I suffered a spinal cord injury and, in an instant, the life I knew changed completely. There is a line from Fight Club that has always stayed with me: “It’s only after we’ve lost everything that we’re free to do anything.” The day before my accident, I was just going about life the way most people do. Busy. Focused on work, appearances, possessions, staying in shape, and moving as fast as I could. Then, in one night, everything unraveled. I spent time in the ICU and needed about two years to find what became my new normal. I still live with muscle loss in my back, nervous system issues, and difficulty going from warm to cold. But the biggest changes were not physical. The ICU gave me time to think. I learned that you can know thousands of people and still discover that very few really show up when life falls apart. I learned that ego, pride, possessions, and the appearance of success can quietly become a trap. I had spent too much time caring about what other people thought and trying to accumulate as much as I could, as quickly as I could. That experience stripped a lot of that away. I learned that good food, real friendship, family, time with people you love, and being useful to someone who needs you are worth more than most of the things we spend our lives chasing. You come into this world with nothing and you leave with nothing. What you do here matters. What you own does not. I also felt touched by God that night, and that feeling has never left me. I was told I was the happiest guy in the ICU. Ten years later, I still carry that peace with me. And I can say this now with complete sincerity: I am grateful for the injury. I had to let go of the life I knew, my body, my possessions, my family as I knew it, and even my career. Losing so much gave me the chance to rebuild with a clearer understanding of what actually mattered. Today I try to spend less energy on appearances, status, and things that do not really matter, and more energy on being present, being useful, and showing up for the people around me. I try to be generous with my time, my money, and whatever else I have to give. And 10 years later, my life is absolutely fantastic. If you had told the man lying in that hospital bed what his life would look like today, I do not think he would have believed you. That is the part I hope someone else takes from this. Do not give up on yourself. Keep trying. Keep seeking truth. Keep doing your best, especially when no one is watching. Life can change in an instant. Stay grateful and humble. Things have a way of returning! 🔆🙌💪❤️💯🚨🔆 #STAYPOSITIVE #STAYHUMBLE #BEGRATEFUL

Dave Pearson liked thisDave Pearson liked thisA great couple of days in Cleveland with the MaxStrength Fitness leadership team and a room full of happy franchisees. I've placed many clients with MaxStrength and spent countless hours with them on Zoom and phone calls. This conference gave me the opportunity to meet several of them in person. The personal connection matters to me. I don't want to simply help someone buy a franchise business and disappear. I thrive on seeing their success! Dopamine! I also had the opportunity to join the stage for a panel, hear a fantastic keynote from John R. DiJulius III and was privileged to be recognized as their Franchise Consultant Partner of the Year by Jeff Tomaszewski & Colleen Donahue. Very appreciative. 🏆 Strong economics + a compelling business model + damn good people behind the scenes are why I often recommend this brand to clients. 🤝 Thank you to the entire Max Strength team for having me and for truly understanding the importance of the Franchisor ↔ Franchisee relationship -- and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame wasn't a bad place to wrap it up. 🤘 FranPath Consulting International Franchise Professionals Group - IFPG

📋 Security Update: New Risk Assessment Metric 🚀 🫷 🚿 We’ve updated our Journey Management protocols. Beyond route analysis, medical evacuation points, and safe-haven locations, we are officially adding a new critical data point to our Reports: Shower Status. 🚿 Check it out: canishower.com In an industry of 50-page SOPs and complex threat matrices, it’s refreshing to find a piece of Intelligence that just gives you a "Yes" or "No." Because at the end of a long-haul detail, this is the only situational awareness that truly matters. One can convert the below chart into a performance measurement tool by rating each physical security control on a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 represents weak and 5 represents strong. This approach helps identify gaps, prioritize improvements, and track performance over time.

Industrial control systems face another credential exposure risk with the latest CISA advisory on Mitsubishi Electric's GT Designer3. The vulnerability affects both GOT2000 and GOT1000 series devices, allowing attackers to extract plaintext credentials from project files. This exposure could lead to unauthorized control of human-machine interface systems across manufacturing and industrial environments. CISA released the advisory yesterday, highlighting the potential for illegal operation of these widely-deployed industrial devices. Full details: https://lnkd.in/g5Q6h8dk The plaintext credential storage represents a fundamental security design flaw that speaks to broader challenges in operational technology security. Organizations using these systems should prioritize immediate assessment of their GT Designer3 implementations and review access controls around project files. This advisory reinforces the ongoing need for security teams to maintain visibility into their industrial control environments, particularly regarding credential management practices. The convergence of IT and OT security continues to surface vulnerabilities that require specialized attention. When industrial systems store credentials in plaintext, the attack surface extends beyond the immediate device to every system that processes those project files. #GreyShield #Cybersecurity #InfoSec #ThreatIntel #Risk #Security #Intelligence

For 129 years, Kenton Brothers has helped organizations see what's happening across their facilities. Now we're helping them understand it. We're proud to announce that Kenton Brothers has been named the first Value-Added Reseller and integrator in the United States for BlueTitan's Investigator Sidekick — a patent-pending AI platform that turns raw video into searchable, defensible intelligence. Instead of scrubbing hours of footage by hand, security teams can now search and chat with their video in plain language, track people and vehicles across cameras, and build shareable timelines in minutes. It's a natural next step for our KB Advantage approach, and we're honored to be first in the country to bring it to market. Risk assessments are a cornerstone of any effective security or safety program. They provide a structured approach to identifying potential threats, vulnerabilities, and the likelihood of harmful events before they occur. Results aid in the prioritization of resources, implementation of targeted mitigation measures, and strengthening of overall resilience. Ultimately, conducting regular risk assessments helps protect people, assets, and operations—ensuring informed decision-making and proactive prevention rather than reactive response. #SecurityConsulting #PhysicalSecurity #RiskAssessments #ESRM
