EO South Florida shared thisWhat an afternoon for EO South Florida! 🌴🏆 For the first time since 2019, our EO SOFLO community came together for the All Member Meeting & Tradeshow, bringing Members, Accelerators and Strategic Alliance Partners together at Amerant Bank Arena for an afternoon of connection, learning and a look at what’s ahead for our chapter. We kicked off the day with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the home of the Florida Panthers, followed by our Member & SAP Showcase, where members and partners connected, discovered businesses across our EO community and supported one another. EO South Florida President Kip True then took the stage for the State of the Chapter, sharing our vision, what’s ahead and introducing our Board of Directors. And what better place to talk about building winning teams than the home of the two-time Stanley Cup Champions? 🏆🏆 Our featured speaker, Bill Zito, President of Hockey Operations and General Manager of the Florida Panthers, shared insights on leadership, creating high-performing teams, fostering a winning culture and making decisions under pressure. We wrapped up the afternoon with happy hour, networking and plenty of great conversations. Eric shared the strategies that have helped hundreds of entrepreneurs strengthen the value of their companies, including how buyers evaluate a business, the 10 key drivers of business value, and the often-overlooked areas where value can quietly slip away. The bigger takeaway? Being exit-ready isn’t just about preparing to sell. It’s the most important job that I have and I would trade all of my professional success without hesitation for my son’s happiness and well being. I am incredibly excited to share that my son Jacob has committed to play division 1 lacrosse at Yale University. Opportunities like this don’t happen by luck, chance or privilege. Jacob worked incredibly hard and persevered in the classroom and on the field to make his dreams come true. Nothing was given to him and there were many challenging obstacles along the way. I am the proudest dad ever. Go Bulldogs!
