Greg Licciardi liked thisGreg Licciardi liked thisBeing funny and human isn't just a better content strategy. It's a business strategy! People get to know you, trust you, remember you, and ultimately buy from you. So, being funny on LinkedIn has ACTUALLY made me a LOT of money 😂 Not because I'm a comedian. I'm definitely not 😂 But because being funny is part of being HUMAN. And being human on LinkedIn means people actually get to know you. They remember you. They trust you. And eventually... Some of them BUY from you 👀 A HUGE amount of my new business now comes through LinkedIn. I work with brands including Google, PayPal and Adobe. And I genuinely don't think that would have happened if I'd spent the last few years posting things like... “I'm delighted, honoured, extremely humbled, grateful and excited to announce that I am embarking on a new chapter...” WHO ACTUALLY TALKS LIKE THAT?! 😂 Yet somewhere along the way, we decided that when we turn up on LinkedIn, we need to become these weird corporate versions of ourselves. And I think that's a HUGE mistake. Because your personality isn't something you need to edit OUT of your content. It's probably one of your biggest competitive advantages. Especially now, when SO much content looks, sounds and feels exactly the bloody same. Which is why I LOVED recording this week's Marketing in the Madness with Adam Faulkner. Adam has built a huge following creating business and comedy content on LinkedIn, and a couple of weeks ago we got on stage together at Ideas Fest (thanks to the amazing James Burtt 🎙️) and basically... Took the piss out of LinkedIn 😂 The wooden posts. The deluded posts. The clichés. The humble brags. The stuff people post because they think it's what “professional” content is supposed to sound like. But amongst all the roasting, we talked about something I think is really important... You don't have to choose between creating content that's entertaining and content that makes you MONEY. In fact, I think the two are more connected than most B2B marketers realise. Make people laugh. Have an opinion. Tell stories. Sound like YOU. Because people don't build relationships with corporate LinkedIn Robots. They build relationships with PEOPLE. And relationships build trust. Trust builds opportunities. And opportunities build businesses. This episode went live THIS MORNING and I've already had loads of messages telling me how much people loved it. So if you want to make your LinkedIn content more HUMAN, more entertaining and, importantly, more commercially valuable... Go listen, have a laugh and follow along via Marketing In The Madness! 🎧😂 I promise you will be glad you did! Katie xxx

Greg Licciardi liked thisGreg Licciardi liked thisI hate even admitting this, but it can feel really hopeless for women. I hate admitting it because I went to Smith College, was raised by a strong feminist mother Susan Pace Scranton and went on to found + lead an all female PR agency Pace Public Relations. But when stories come to light, like what happened at #Cornell ... or #LindsayClancy ... it just makes me so angry. Add that to the ongoing gender pay gap and lack of healthcare or abortion access for half the country - and it can feel pretty abysmal. We MUST invest in the next generation of women to feel confident showing up in this society as leaders and bosses. When you say to yourself, "I wish I could do something" - I have a suggestion. Get involved in Step Up, a wonderful organization dedicated to helping young women and girls prepare and find success in their careers by providing mentorship. I've been lucky enough to serve on the regional board for 2 years now and have mentored several young women. Each experience has been rewarding in a way that really feels like you're making an impact. We call post here as much as we want- but there's something special about being in person (or virtual) when you see a girl's face light up with a new idea, or a new way to look at something. It's the best. If you want to change the gender dynamic in our country as much as I do - then please consider doing so through Step Up. Message me if you'd like to learn more about mentoring, or if you are able to, please consider making a donation today. Think of it as an investment in the future of our country - a future that hopefully will have more women leaders, shepherding us into a kinder, more productive, equal United States of America! https://lnkd.in/e6rMk_tT

Greg Licciardi liked thisGreg Licciardi liked thisI launched the Venture:F podcast and platform two years ago for a multitude of reasons. As I entered my 50’s I realized I didn’t know enough about growing my wealth and investing. And I am not alone - so many women my age feel like they need to learn more but don’t know where to begin. Additionally, I have been advising and working with start-ups for more than twenty years, and one of the many challenges that diverse founders continue to face is that of raising capital. But I believe that if more women grow their wealth and learn to invest - we will see more women investing in women. I am not a financial expert, but I know a lot of financial experts, investors, and women in finance. These are incredibly smart women who know a lot about a variety of topics when it comes to money. And Venture:F brings them to you. We interview leading experts on growing wealth, how to build your stock portfolio, what it takes to start angel investing, what is venture capital, how to invest using your Donor Advised Fund, real estate investing, and so much more. I am so lucky to get to interview these brilliant women, learn from them, and share that insight with all of you. We also skim investing news and share highlights on our Substack and have built Guides and resources to help you find communities and events so that you can join other like-minded women on this journey. You are not alone. We are at a unique moment in time where women, money, and power are converging. We’re seeing this on Wall Street and within financial institutions as more women step into financial leadership roles from the C suite, to the boardroom, and even in the investing community with the rising number of women launching or joining venture funds. We’re entering into an era of women’s wealth enlightenment or financial wellness - however you want to coin it - as more women take an active interest in their personal finances. As a result or perhaps synergistically, there are communities and platforms popping up everywhere to fulfill women’s need to learn more and take a more active role in their financial and investing decisions. Additionally we are about to experience the largest wealth transfer in history with $80T dollars transferring from baby boomers to their heirs. 66% of the wealth in the US will be in the hands of women. How these inheritors invest that money will impact everything. Taking those 3 things into account, I’d say women are in the strongest position ever to be in charge of the money. And if the data is correct, women will use that money to invest in the things that matter most to us - family care, healthcare, education, technology that improves our lives, the environment, and companies led by…women. So buckle up, tune in and get ready for this next season of the Venture:F podcast. Season 3 launches tomorrow! Listen on all podcast streaming platforms, follow me on Substack. https://lnkd.in/gjVDjpbh

Bringing together past, current, and future Rams under the Keating tent is the heart of Fordham Homecoming. From President's Ball to the Homecoming football game. Even with a little rain and a tough result on the field, the rain couldn't dampen the incredible momentum and community spirit on campus—especially coming right off our thrilling victory over #21 William & Mary the week prior! Thank you to everyone who returned to Rose Hill, shared stories, and celebrated with us. Once a Ram, always a Ram.

Greg Licciardi liked thisGreg Licciardi liked thisThe best marketing conversations don’t end with what worked. They ask what comes next. I’m looking forward to taking the stage at the 2026 ANA Masters of Marketing Conference, Oct. 20–23 in Orlando. https://lnkd.in/ei66ZQ_S I’ll be joining leaders from some of the world’s most influential brands to share what we’re learning, the decisions we’re making, and how we’re thinking about growth in a constantly changing marketing landscape. There will be plenty to discuss — and even more to learn from one another. See you at Masters. https://lnkd.in/ei66ZQ_S Association of National Advertisers

Greg Licciardi liked thisGreg Licciardi liked this🏆 Big congratulations to the Dr Pepper team and our incredible partners!I’m proud to share that Dr Pepper won silver in the Growth Alignment & Transformation category at the 2026 Association of National Advertisers MarTech Mastery Awards. This recognition is about more than an award. It celebrates a new model in modern marketing at KDP, one built by breaking down silos and bringing together brand, media, creative, analytics, data science, shopper marketing and technology around a shared vision. There’s a reason many CPG companies talk about personalization and precision, but far fewer deliver it at scale. It’s hard. Really hard. As it turns out, creating more than 2,500 tailored marketing experiences involves a bit more than asking AI to “make it personalized.” Together with The Walt Disney Company and our agency partners, teams across KDP transformed Fansville from a broadcast-led campaign into an AI-enabled, customer-centric growth engine. Our people defined the strategy, storytelling and creative vision; AI helped scale content, optimize delivery and surface insights. Human creativity remained firmly in the driver’s seat, while AI helped navigate. The impact speaks for itself: #1 CSD category share gains, 1.2 million new households and 4.1 million incremental buyers. But what makes me proudest is how we got there. I ask a lot of my team because I believe we can be the best in marketing and lead what comes next. I’m deeply grateful for the collaboration, trust and support, and for everyone who embraced “progress over perfection,” even when it came with a healthy dose of ambiguity. Thank you for continuing to learn, adapt and push what’s possible. This recognition belongs to all of you. Congratulations!
