🍋 Greg Trimble shared thisA simple example of what we do through Build then Bless. 🙌 Nice job Amanda Dunn for blessing others, brightening their day, and teaching your kids the joy of giving!🍋 Greg Trimble shared thisDo I have the best job ever or what?! I’m forever grateful for Build then Bless. I get more than $50 a month, actually. I get countless memories with my family and a recurring lesson in the thrill of giving. That my kids get to practice caring about someone else more than themselves is priceless to me. Normally I like to Build then Bless quietly like the introvert I am. But I think getting out of my comfort zone was worth seeing how much joy 5 minutes of kindness can create for everyone involved. These are the good old days 💛

🍋 Greg Trimble shared thisThere are two types of people in this life. There are fountains and there are drains. We get to choose every day, every second of our day, which one we will be. Thanks for sharing this Derek Miner you fountain! 👇🍋 Greg Trimble shared this"Why are you guys doing all of this?" It started as a simple conversation with a client about Build then Bless yesterday. Responding to that question was one of the most powerful statements I have ever heard: "I have one goal," Greg said. "Bless as many lives as I can." Then he continued, "I hope my life is a greatest hits of the books and people I have associated with." I am a recipient of listening to and seeing Greg's greatest hits every day. I believe that good books and the great people we surround ourselves with are some of the most important things we can seek in life. I have learned that the greatest leaders do one thing that makes their names and impact endure. These leaders contribute something meaningful from their lives to make the world a better place. They find the greatest joy in helping others feel important, seen, comfortable and happy. Greg also taught me something that he learned from his baseball coach, and it continues to bless my life. "There are two types of people in this life: there are fountains and there are drains. Which one are you? Fountains are continually springing up, giving life and happiness to everyone that surrounds them. Drains, on the other hand, sit in dark corners hiding from sight, always taking and never giving. No one ever takes a picture of a drain to remember for later. But fountains…fountains are framed and remembered for years to come." Thomas Carlyle, the great English writer, captures this perfectly: "Great men taken up in any way are profitable company. We cannot look, however imperfectly, upon a great man, without gaining something by him. He is the living 'light-fountain,' which it is good and pleasant to be near." In business and in life, it really is this simple… Are you a fountain? Or, are you a drain? In this picture are some of the greatest “fountains” I know. I get to see them build then bless every day! Mitch Labrum, 🍋 Greg Trimble and Brian Barton, thanks for being the "greatest hits" and "light-fountains" in my life and the lives of others. I am grateful for you. Who is a light-fountain or whose greatest hits have blessed your life?

🍋 Greg Trimble shared thisWe have a few more seats left for the Build then Bless conference next Wednesday! Here's Derek Miner on the news today talking about the conference with a little more background!🍋 Greg Trimble shared thisHow cool is this? 🍋 Greg Trimble shared thisOn March 11th at the Build then Bless conference, we're going to talk about the real and the raw of business life. You’ll leave with tools to be more successful and more impactful. Kirby Heyborne is going to welcome us and emcee the whole day. (Get ready to have fun!) Yahosh Bonner will start us off with the National Anthem in a nation that is seriously divided. Then Chester Elton is going to dig into the deeply important topic of mental health in the workplace. Chief Heart Officer Claude Silver for Gary Vaynerchuk is going to dive into "Being yourself at work". (Anyone else with imposter syndrome out there?) Then Jodi Orgill Brown, is going to show you what to do when a brain tumor tries to ruin your life. (Anyone dealing with hard things out there?) Brandon Stewart founded Millennial® Choirs & Orchestras (MCO) and is going to show us how to create life changing experiences for our clients and customers. Then, he and his daughter Ashley are going to perform a special father/daughter duet that Brandon arranged and composed. (Any music lovers out there?) Next we'll have Carrie H. moderating a panel with some of the most in-the-trenches business experience we've ever seen with Clint Pulver and Tiffany Vail. They're going to talk about why people stay at a company and why people decide to leave. After that we're going to provide an amazing lunch for you! (We're not going to send you out to get your own lunch 🫠 ) After lunch, Jared Halverson will show us how the wisdom from the religions of the world can transform your business or organization. Then Liz Wiseman is going to talk about how to build leaders that will bless your organization. (Multipliers, right?) Dr. James Eltroy Dixon, Ph.D stands up next to talk about what being "broken" enables you to do with your life. (Anyone ever felt broken?) I'll stand up for a few minutes and play a song about how we should view our coworkers, clients, and vendors. Then Todd Sylvester will teach us how to "be who we were born to be." Next, Kristin Andrus will talk us through a fun and interactive way to identify your “Giving Personality.” And finally, Robert Ferrell will close us out with helping us learn how to reclaim connection in an age of isolation. Early bird pricing ends today, and seats/tables are going fast. Come hangout with us! Here’s a link to register! https://luma.com/35mufbss

🍋 Greg Trimble shared thisAlmost every great business and leadership book I’ve read hearkens back to principles found within the wisdom of the various religions of the world. These timeless principles found in ancient sacred texts are the foundation of building a good company culture, telling the best stories, and creating strong leaders. The hero’s journey, meaning, impact, purpose… all of it goes back to ancient roots. And the best companies in the world know this. They have “soul.” The word “corporation” is derived from “corpus,” the Latin word for “body.” The body, or “corpus,” without a soul is as empty as a business without a soul. It’s in all of our best interest for more companies to operate with more soul, and all of us can improve in this area. So, I asked my friend Jared Halverson, one of the most well known religious professors in Utah to come and speak at our “business” conference. He’s not going to try and convert anyone to any religion in particular. It’s not that kind of conference. But he will provide valuable insights into how the wisdom from the religions of the world, eastern and western, can help the soul of any business or individual. If you know Jared, you know it’ll be transformative. Hurry and register for this unique occasion on March 11th with Jared and a power-packed lineup at the show barn in Lehi. https://lnkd.in/ge_-TPwt Early bird is ending in a few days! Hope to see you there!

🍋 Greg Trimble shared thisBrandon Stewart is hands down one of the greatest musicians of the last century… Yet, as great musicians go, relatively few know his name. Why? Because Brandon chose to build something different with his music. Instead of building his own name and empire, he chose to use his skills to bless others. I spent four years writing a book about him and his organization. I’ve seen it firsthand. I have no doubt about what I’ve witnessed. When he’s not conducting, he remains in the background... anonymous, down to earth, and driven by a purpose that will outlast him. With a master’s degree from Juilliard, he was on his way to piano performance stardom… But he gave it all up to be a family man and invest his time in the rising generation. He never does anything halfway, and he has mastered the “power of moments.” I’ve watched him work, and it’s abundantly clear: it’s not about the money. It’s not about the recognition. He composes for the musicians he works with and for the audiences they perform for. Backstage, concert series after concert series, I’ve seen him barely able to stand because he gives every last ounce of strength he has left. Because of this, Millennial Choirs & Orchestras has become the largest musical organization of its kind in the world. It’s changing lives, and there are powerful lessons to learn from them about building any successful organization. A rare event will be happening at the Build then Bless Conference on March 11… I asked Brandon to come speak with us and to pull back the curtain on what makes his organization so impactful. And even more rare, he will perform a duet he composed for his daughter, Ashley, who is well on her way to becoming a world-class soprano herself. (Yes, we rented a nice piano 🤣) Come and see Brandon, Ashley, and many others in what will truly be a once-in-a-lifetime conference lineup. Sign up here: https://lnkd.in/ge_-TPwt

🍋 Greg Trimble reacted on this🍋 Greg Trimble reacted on thisPosting this with tears in my eyes and gratitude in my heart as our beautiful, wonderful, incredible daughter, Ella, decided on Easter to open the missionary portal, submitted her papers on Mother's Day, and has been called to serve in the Limatambo, Peru mission. We are so thrilled to think we will have 3 missionaries out at the same time doing the work of The Lord and bringing others to Christ. Redford in Santa Fe, Argentina since last August; Romney in Antigua, Guatemala as of this August; Ella leaving in October. Still shaking my head in disbelief and gratitude. What a blessing we always prayed for but didn't assume anything, as the Spirit has its way of speaking to our children to guide their lives. Thank you to everyone for your support of our children and family at this time, and always, we are so thankful. Ella opened her call alone in the forest in Juneau, Alaska where she is living for the summer, called us with tears in her eyes, and opened it with her family, and then went to her apartment, with those of our church and others who are not, and read this to them. Ella, you may just be the best missionary the world has ever seen - along with your brothers - we are so excited for you and the people of Peru. @missionariesworldwide @missionariescalledtoserve @peru.limatambo.mission

🍋 Greg Trimble reacted on this🍋 Greg Trimble reacted on thisI joined LinkedIn when I was 25, and somehow I find myself at 47. I’d like to share some learnings and advice for those in their 20s. Much of our culture is obsessed with status, money, pleasure, image, and endless self-focus. Contrary to those voices, most of the deepest joys in my life have come from much simpler things. I married young and have spent adulthood building a life with one woman, my wife. I’ve tried to avoid many of the destructive habits and distractions that our culture normalizes, and instead focus on faith, family, meaningful work, and service. I have plenty of weaknesses. I’m working to be more patient (driving here in Brazil is a daily test for me!). I spend more time on my phone than I should. I’m still trying to become better in dozens of ways. However, I don’t carry many major regrets in life. Many of the values the world treats as outdated, restrictive, or boring are actually the things that create depth, peace, trust, stability, and meaning. Especially for young people: don’t underestimate the power of loyalty, faith, self-control, service, and commitment to family. The world will often tell you to prioritize yourself. My experience has been almost the opposite: some of the happiest parts of life have come from focusing less on myself and more on serving others. It’s never too late to start, either, no matter your past. P.S. This picture was from last night. I went to check on my 8-year-old son to see if he was asleep, and he was reading the Bible on his own. 🥹

🍋 Greg Trimble reacted on this🍋 Greg Trimble reacted on thisI post about my faith on LinkedIn because it's central to my work. Rejected on the phone? Secure in Christ. Feedback that is hard to hear? Secure in Christ. Things feel uncertain? Secure in Christ. I don't know what I would do or who I would be without the Lord. Life (and work) are hard. Being a Christian doesn't take away the hard, but it gives you a solid foundation to build upon. I'm so grateful for that.

🍋 Greg Trimble reacted on this🍋 Greg Trimble reacted on thisPeter walking on water is called a miracle. We rarely call it a miracle to walk in it. For me, both are true. And both are how the work begins. There was a time I would have had to crawl into a pool like this one. Today I walk in. The waterproof prosthetics in this photo may look small to the world. To me, they restore dignity. Freedom. The normal moments most people never stop to notice. That is the personal miracle. The bigger one is what happens after. When you wade into water others have refused to enter, you create a path for them to cross. That is what healthcare democratization looks like from the inside. Walking into the deep end of access, cost, and innovation. Places where people have been told for too long, "You should not be here. You cannot afford this. This is not for you." Reason says it is impossible. But fear is the only thing that sinks you. And God is still in the business of creating possibility where limitation used to live. So while I walk in this water with the legs God restored to me, I am also wading in another kind of water entirely. The kind that lets someone else walk on top of it. Someone who has been waiting their whole life for a path. Miracles are not rare. They happen every day. To every person who refuses to sink. And to every person whose path was made dry by someone willing to wade in first. That is the calling. That is the work. I lost my leg. Not my voice. #healthcare #democratization #Jamesdixon #elevatethevoices

If you're calling in high-ticket clients but not investing in yourself… there's a disconnect. You're expecting people to pay $5K, $10K, $20K+ to work with you, but you're not playing at that level yourself. Frequency mismatch. The moment you back yourself at that level, you shift timelines. You’re suddenly vibrating with those who also invest big, trust themselves, and play to win. This is how you collapse time. Your business isn’t stuck because of weak marketing. That’s not the #1 problem holding you back. Here’s the real culprit: hidden operational bottlenecks. It’s the unseen workflow jams, decision fatigue, outdated processes, or people-dependency that grind growth to a halt: even when leads are flowing. If you’re saying, “We just need more leads,” think again. Pause. Ask: Where are things clogging up AFTER the sale? Grab a notepad, watch your team, check your workflow. Find the choke point and fix it: this week. That’s how you unlock real, rapid, repeatable growth. Don’t wait: Gadal Strategies helps owners spot and solve these profit leaks, fast. Let’s get back to momentum. #growth #smallbusiness #GadalStrategies

In today's episode of "why I built GiveSuite"... One of the most significant pain points we as an agency found with other systems was a severe lack or limitation of automation tools. Automation is a key tool for any small nonprofit that lacks the bandwidth. Setting things up and letting it run saves time, money, and headaches. We've seen our users take the automation tools and master them, increasing the amount of money being brought in. Your Website Design May Not Be Broken. Your Approach to Partnership Might Be. If your website isn’t performing the way it should, don’t assume the design is broken. It might be the partnership. Here’s how to tell: * Your site feels like a cost center, not a growth engine. It’s not contributing to pipeline, lead quality, or sales conversations. * You struggle to make small updates quickly. The CMS is clunky, or you’re constantly waiting on someone else. * There’s no insight into what’s working. Analytics aren’t informing design, content, or UX decisions. * You’re missing opportunities to optimize based on data. Or worse—you’re not looking at the data. * Every improvement feels like starting over. Because the foundation wasn’t built to evolve with your business. Websites fail when they’re built for launch day, not for what comes after. The most effective marketing leaders know the site is only as strong as the team behind it. So if you’re not getting the results you expected, maybe it’s not the site. Maybe it’s time to re-evaluate the relationship behind it. #BuildOnValue

Attribution Is Overrated Most local businesses obsess over attribution. “If I can’t track the call, the marketing didn’t work.” That assumption is wrong. In real communities, decisions are made quietly. Someone notices your name. Sees it again. Mentions it to a spouse. Googles you weeks later. The brands that win aren’t the ones chasing perfect attribution. They’re the ones building familiarity over time. Marketing doesn’t always create action today. Sometimes it creates confidence for tomorrow. That’s not failure. That’s how trust actually works.

Running a small business in Hawai'i already takes everything you’ve got 🌺 You’re creating the products. Packing the orders. Answering the DMs. Posting when you “have time.” And somehow you’re also supposed to come up with a content strategy that attracts new clients, builds community, and drives actual sales? That’s where most Hawai'i business owners get stuck. Content isn’t just posting pretty photos. It’s: ✔️ Targeting your exact customer avatar ✔️ Creating reels that reach non-followers ✔️ Turning views into inquiries ✔️ Turning followers into paying customers If you didn’t go to school for marketing or take a bunch of courses on it, why are you expecting yourself to be a full-time content strategist too? You don’t need to do it all. You need a strategy, systems, and a team that knows how to grow local brands in Hawai'i. Stop trying to wear every hat in your business. Let a professional marketing agency handle the growth so you can focus on what you actually do best. Follow for real marketing tips for Hawaii business owners who are ready to grow. 🌴📈

Most lawyers brag about clicks while their calendar stays empty. Clicks don’t pay retainers. Conversions do. The truth? Traffic without strategy is just noise. A landing page that looks nice but doesn’t qualify leads is a money pit. A funnel without filters lets every tire-kicker walk in the door. And a lawyer chasing clicks instead of clients is already behind. The ones winning aren’t better attorneys—they’re better marketers. They build landing pages for each practice area, they prove their value with results and testimonials, they filter leads before they waste time, and they track every keyword, every ad, every click. That’s the difference between hoping for a client and knowing where the next one comes from. The lawyers who get this right aren’t stuck counting clicks. They’re counting retainers.

A pretty website can cost you $100K. That image says it all. Lots of small biz sites look sharp, then bleed leads with support fees and zero conversions. If your site is missing the basics, it is a liability. Speed. If it takes 3 seconds, you are losing buyers. Trust signals. Reviews, logos, guarantees, clear contact. Calls to action. One main action per page. Make it obvious. Mobile. Thumb friendly, tap to call, no tiny text. Your website has one job. Turn visitors into leads. Want a quick conversion audit checklist. Comment CHECKLIST. #SmallBusinessWebsite #WebsiteTips #SmallBusinessSEO #LeadGeneration #LocalSEO

Here’s the truth about business video content: Most service-based businesses overspend on production and underspend on strategy. The most powerful videos I’ve created for clients weren’t the flashiest. They were testimonials and educational pieces that spoke directly to customer pain points. High-end cameras don’t close deals. Cinematic videos look nice, but if there’s not strategy they fall flat. Strategic storytelling gets the job done.

What agencies don’t want you to know… 👀 Most small business owners aren’t stuck because they lack talent. They’re stuck because they were never given control. A lot of agencies build systems that keep you dependent. You don’t own the hosting. You don’t fully control the website. You don’t understand the strategy. And every small change costs you. That’s not empowerment. That’s leverage. Here’s the truth: You should fully own your website. You should understand your marketing. You should have systems that work even if you walk away from your agency tomorrow. Dependency is profitable for them. Ownership is profitable for you. Your website is leaking money. Not because you don’t have traffic. But because people land on it and leave. They don’t convert. They don’t call. They don’t book. Why? Because most home service websites are built like digital brochures, not revenue generating machines. Here’s the truth: If it takes you more than 10 seconds to turn into a customer on your own site, you’ve already lost. Most visitors stay for 30 seconds or less. If they don’t see a sticky header with a clear call-to-action, they’re gone. If there’s no chat widget, estimate calculator, or fast way to get a quote, they move on. SEO traffic is great, but traffic alone doesn’t pay the bills. Conversions do. So ask yourself: Is your website built to turn visitors into leads? Or is it just hoping they’ll figure it out? If you want to fix this in your business. DM me and I will show you how!
