Hal Lawton shared thisToday, nearly 2,500 Tractor Supply stores across the country celebrated Harvest Fest, bringing together local farmers, makers and artisans to sell their goods. At our College Station, Texas store, we were especially honored to welcome U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins (USDA), along with National 4-H Council and National FFA Organization, to the celebration. Store Manager Jorge Rodriguez and Assistant Store Manager Bea Grant did a fantastic job hosting. And a special thanks to Jodi Tepper and our Marketing team for all the work that went into making Harvest Fest happen across the country. Days like today are a great reminder of what Tractor Supply is all about: supporting the people and communities we are fortunate to serve.

Hal Lawton shared thisNothing better than a road trip through Western PA with Pat Coulter, Brad Rogers, Juan Hernandez, Matthew Rubin and Amy E. Dahl. Over 2 days, we visited 10 stores and were able to spend time with our Team Members, talk with our customers and see the business up close. A big thank you to our District Managers Kyle Bortnyik, John J. and David Barrow, and store managers Jessica Wilfong, Kathleen Meade, Jon Vinski, Richelle Santini, Brian Show, Chelsea Knight, Ray Vanischak, Glenn Davis, Eric Smith, and Greg Marcinko. Great teams and a great couple of days in the stores.

Hal Lawton shared thisGreat day in Massachusetts visiting our stores in Maynard, Leominster, Westborough, and Leicester. The weather was beautiful, the stores were hopping, and it was fantastic spending time with so many Team Members and customers. Animal Days was in full swing, and it was fun to see Halloween and fall decor on the floor. Thank you to Scott McElfresh, Timothy Langevin, and Store Managers Sam, Lexie, Matt, and Emma for the leadership and hospitality.

Hal Lawton shared thisGreat few days in Las Vegas and Northern Sacramento visiting stores and spending time with customers and team members. We celebrated a 15-year anniversary, talked about the business, and enjoyed dinner together in both markets. What stands out most on these visits is the pride our team takes in serving customers and supporting one another. The people of Tractor Supply are what make this company special, and these visits are always a great reminder of that. Hal Lawton reposted thisHal Lawton reposted thisOn Wednesday, we had the unique opportunity to bring together four generations of leadership at Tractor Supply Company. Former CEOs Joe Scarlett, Jim Wright, and Greg Sandfort joined our current CEO, Hal Lawton, for a special fireside chat centered around TSC’s Mission and Values. As Greg Sandfort shared during the conversation: “The reason [people] love this store is because the Mission and Values are what guide this place and have guided every one of us as long as we have been working at this company.” A powerful reminder that while leadership evolves, our commitment to serving our customers, team members and communities remains constant. #WorkatTractorSupply #MissionandValues #LifeOutHere

Hal Lawton liked thisI’m honored to be recognized by Rethink Retail as a 2027 Top AI Leader, and especially proud to share this recognition alongside my colleague Glenn Allison and an outstanding group of leaders who are helping shape what AI can mean for retail. For me, this recognition is really about the Tractor Supply Company team. What we are accomplishing with AI is the result of curiosity, bold thinking, strong partnership between our technology and business teams, and—most importantly—a willingness to turn ideas into real experiences for our customers and Team Members. Thanks to Hal Lawton for his continued sponsorship, leadership, and encouragement to challenge conventional thinking and use technology and AI to create exceptional experiences. That support has created an environment where our teams can experiment, learn, build, and move quickly from possibilities to practical outcomes. I’m incredibly grateful to the many Team Members and partners across Tractor Supply who are doing the real work behind this recognition every day. And I’m excited to be on this journey alongside Glenn and so many other AI pioneers across the industry. We are still early in what is possible. Thank you, RETHINK Retail, for the recognition. Hal Lawton liked thisHal Lawton liked thisA week ago, we held the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Celebration on the field of Nissan Stadium. It was an evening we could only have in that place, at this moment in its history. Since 1999, that field has held the Music City Miracle, countless CMA Fests, Nashville SC’s first Major League Soccer match, and memories for generations of fans and families. Soon, the stadium will come down to make way for a new one. Our celebration was a chance to say farewell to a place that has served Nashville well—and to add one more memory of our own. Most of all, it was a chance to honor people who have moved our city and region forward. Congratulations to our Spirit of the Region honorees: David Briggs; Dr. C. Wright Pinson and Dr. Shanna Jackson; Sarah Trahern; Mark Heffernan; Leisa Gill, MSM; Monchiere' Holmes-Jones’; Hal Lawton; and the Super Bowl Bid Committee, accepted by Deana Ivey. We also celebrated the enduring legacies of our Icon Award honorees, Ronald Corbin, Martha Ingram, and Dolly Parton. One of the most moving moments of the night came from the Metro Nashville Public Schools Student Ensemble. Their rendition of Dolly’s “I Will Always Love You” was a beautiful tribute to her and a reminder of the talent in our next generation. To our members: thank you for showing up to celebrate with us, for supporting the Chamber’s work, and for leaning in every day to make the Nashville region the best it can be. This evening—and the work we do throughout the year—wouldn’t be possible without you. Thank you to our presenting sponsors—Mike D. Johnson with PNC, Kelly Becker with Schneider Electric, and Ana Schwager with Southwest Airlines—for making this evening possible. I’m also grateful to our board chair, Vanderbilt University Chancellor Daniel Diermeier; our vice chair, Carol Yochem of First Horizon Bank; and our Partnership 2030 co-chairs, Mayor Freddie O'Connell and Chris Holmes of FirstBank. Your leadership keeps us focused on what matters for Middle Tennessee. And to our Chamber staff: thank you for all the work, creativity, and care that went into making this a historic evening. We left that field with a deeper appreciation for the memories made there and for the people who will shape what comes next. Photos: JHR Photography

Target, Walmart, and Best Buy are redesigning store operations to align more closely with e-commerce and retail media. Target is adjusting store layouts to separate fulfillment and in-person shopping. Best Buy's marketplace now offers 11 times more SKUs than physical locations and supports in-store media placements from partners like Meta and ESPN. Retail media is becoming central to these companies' strategies, not only generating ad revenue but also influencing traffic, inventory movement, and partner collaboration. https://lnkd.in/dvSDEBpb

Reflection sharpens foresight. By reviewing weekly wins and losses, leaders uncover patterns that guide future choices. In practice, this lesson applies directly to retail and omnichannel leadership. Executives who internalize these principles not only guide their organizations through uncertainty, but also create cultures of adaptability, resilience, and long-term loyalty.
