Jamie Anker Gaulton shared thisCalling all social storytellers 📣 Twilio is hiring a Social Media Specialist to help grow our brand, engage our communities, and create content that stands out in crowded feeds. If you're equal parts strategist, creator, trend-spotter, and community builder, we'd love to meet you.

Jamie Anker Gaulton reposted thisJamie Anker Gaulton reposted thisToday, we’re announcing Twilio’s integration with Stripe Projects. The goal is simple: help builders stay in the flow. Here’s how it works: ➕You can set up Twilio services (starting with Email - more channels to come!) directly through the Stripe interface you already use for coding. You won’t have to jump between different websites to get started. 🔑 Instead of having to manually create passwords and copy-paste them into your code, the system automatically generates secure links and plugs them into your project for you. It’s safer and saves you the tedious setup work. 💸 You don't need to add a new credit card or manage a separate invoice. Your Twilio costs will show up on your existing Stripe bill, making it much easier to track your spending in one place. For Twilio, this is about meeting builders where they work. For our customers, it’s about removing friction so you can focus on building. If you’re at Stripe Sessions or SIGNAL, come see it in action.

Jamie Anker Gaulton reacted on thisJamie Anker Gaulton reacted on thisCareer AND life update! 👀 Very, very thrilled to announce that I have started a new role Twilio as their Social Media Specialist. I'll be supporting Taylor Woodward, Grace Cho, and Kari Ramirez creating social content that brings this exciting, ever-evolving tech world to digital life! 🦉📱 The cherry on top is that I have moved back to San Francisco, a city that is so special to me and one that has truly captured my heart. There's nothing more exciting than living and working in the hub for innovation and being a key player in it every day. Time to build!

Jamie Anker Gaulton reacted on thisJamie Anker Gaulton reacted on thisPeople always ask me what has kept me at Twilio so long (11 years today!!!) and I always say two things : 1) Twilio is a company that takes chances on people, and 2) I love the community - Twilio people are the best people. At an All Hands meeting years ago, Twilio's board member Jeff Immelt said something along the lines of, "there is nothing more rewarding than the relationships built with people over time when you're building a company together." I've thought about that sentiment about a thousand times since! The friendships and camraderie that come with building together is the most fun. Feeling extra thankful for my Twilio team and the community this company has created for me. 11 years down!!

Jamie Anker Gaulton liked thisJamie Anker Gaulton liked thisFun times in the Shuba house: our girls are both officially back to school in new classrooms, and I've got a new gig! I'm thrilled to share that I've joined Temporal as their new Senior Events & Field Marketing Manager, where I'll be leading the programming, execution, and operational management of Replay, their annual global developer conference series. This one feels full circle. I spent years running content for SIGNAL at Twilio, and it turns out returning to developer events is just what I've been missing. My time at Zscaler made me a sharper operator — owning launches, rapid response programs, and flagship event content at scale. But returning to events full time feels like coming home. Huge thank you to Ariel Fish and the rest of the Temporal team for the warmest welcome. My new sidekick Ziggy and I are ready to get to work. Let's go!

Jamie Anker Gaulton reacted on thisJamie Anker Gaulton reacted on thisPlot twist: After two and a half years, today is my last day at Zscaler. These past two and a half years have been some of the most challenging and rewarding work of my career. From producing Zenith Live across two continents to delivering what became the largest product launch in company history, I got to make real impact doing the kind of work that reminds you why you love what you do. But more than the programs and the pipeline numbers, it's the people I'll miss most. The ones who showed up every single week, trusted me to quarterback the chaos, and made the hard days feel worth it. I am so grateful for every single one of you, for the camaraderie and the laughs that made the long days and nights bearable. (Shoutout Bowtie 5! 🍕) As for what's next for me... I'm going to spend the next couple of weeks recharging with my family: going camping, riding bikes, and eating way too much ice cream as we soak up these last few days of summer. I'll share more about my next chapter soon!

Jamie Anker Gaulton liked thisJamie Anker Gaulton liked thisThe time has come for me to hang up my track jacket. Leading Twilio’s DevRel team has been the highlight of my career so far. As I reflect on this decade, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. My journey at Twilio has been beautifully squiggly. I’ve worked as an IC, led teams, built education programs, served startup and developer communities, helped build video games, and so much more. But across every role, DevRel taught me the same: to relentlessly advocate for what developers actually need. The DevRel leaders who came before me taught me how to lead with empathy, encourage bold thinking, and build a culture where everyone can bring their true selves to work. What made this experience so unique was our way of working. Our team built an incredible culture around delivering value through surprising moments and genuine fun. We shipped code to space. We lost Macklemore in the cloud. We created activations that made people feel what our products could do, not just understand them intellectually. That’s rare, and it shaped how I think about building. Beyond the work, I’m walking away with a decade of memories with the people who made this special. The team members I got to work with and learn from, and the friends I made along the way. Thank you to everyone who made this journey so special. You know who you are. 💖 In terms of what’s next for me, I’m stepping into a new community role which I’m very excited about. I’ll share more soon.

“I worked with Jamie by supporting her in the recruiting scheduling process. Whenever I had questions or needed support and information, she was responsive and maintained a communicative working relationship. She consistently demonstrated a positive attitude and did not hesitate to passionately apply her skills and strategies in place to deliver impactful results. She also volunteered her time to coach me about the recruiting process because she believed in my growth and capabilities. I was given the opportunity to see the work she did and why it was such a rewarding experience. She was great to work with and has excellent leadership skills!”

After the session, a handful of attendees told me it was one of the most educational talks they’d heard on social measurement. I hear that often after webinars and conference sessions, and it means a lot. We try to skip the hype and focus on what marketers can actually use. Frameworks, language for stakeholders, and real examples from destinations like Visit Anaheim. Value first, always.

Competitive intelligence is moving from quarterly research to always-on GTM infrastructure. Not because teams need more dashboards. Because pricing pages change faster, docs reveal product direction earlier, review sites surface objections publicly, and sales teams need current talk tracks. The winners will not be the teams watching the most competitors. They will be the teams that turn the right public signals into decisions quickly. That is the lane we are building toward with Clura. #CompetitiveIntelligence #GTM #ProductMarketing
