The more benefits consultants I speak with, the clearer this becomes: the best outreach is personalized, but getting there takes far too much manual research. Brokers shouldn’t have to choose between doing the homework and spending time building relationships. That’s exactly why we built Retain Advisor. If this process sounds familiar, I’d be happy to show you how it works using one of your own prospects!

I’ve got a confession: our marketing and revops data is just as messy as everyone else’s. Pipeline lives in Salesforce. Call intel is in Gong. Campaign performance is floating around in spreadsheets. Competitive intel? Somewhere between docs and Slack threads. The structured data tells us 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 is happening. The 𝘸𝘩𝘺—the actual reasons deals move or stall—has been hiding in sales conversations, win/loss notes, and prospect objections we’ve never had the time (or tooling) to analyze systematically. So we decided to stop treating those worlds as separate. With Kaiya, we’re connecting unstructured context to real pipeline outcomes. That means pulling themes from call transcripts alongside pipeline data to see which messages actually move deals or impacted customer value or health. That’s what makes this release feel different to me. It’s ambitious, a little uncomfortable, and very real. We’re running it internally, not just shipping it. Here’s a quick demo. Slide in my DMs if you want to know more about how I'm using it.

Sales Recruiting Market Update Struggling to level up to Enterprise Sales? Start focusing on your specific vertical. It’ll pay off in the long run. #salesrecruiting 🦘

If your growth strategy starts with “hire more reps,” you’re already behind. Headcount should amplify growth, not be the only way to get it. But here’s what we see on repeat: - Reps ramp slow. - Managers burn out trying to coach. - Enablement gets built after the problems show up. - And leadership keeps adding seats, expecting different results. At FliteHouse, we flipped the model: ✅ Start with systems: Playbooks, coaching triggers, real-time feedback. ✅ Layer in automation: AI Agents handle the work that slows reps down. ✅ Then scale what works, with confidence, not chaos. Growth isn’t about adding bodies. It’s about scaling execution. One team, one system, one direction.

If your entire account strategy is built on ZoomInfo, Apollo, Sales Navigator, 6Sense, or Crunchbase… …then you and every competitor in your market are working off the same blueprint. You’re all basing your outreach on the exact same static data and generic “intent”signals, then wondering why it’s so hard to cut through the noise. What did you think was going to happen? It’s like every Uber driver in the city following the exact same GPS route to the exact same destination, then being surprised by traffic. The uncomfortable question is: if everyone has access to the same intelligence, where is your advantage actually coming from? Seriously - what’s your answer?

Your first 30 days in a new RevOps LEADER role can be a trap. Note this if you are starting a new RevOps role. Everyone has a "quick fix." Marketing wants attribution. Sales wants the CRM to do their laundry. Finance wants a board deck by Friday. If you say yes to everyone, instead of becoming a better RevOps leader, you’ll end up as a data janitor. I’ve spent more than two decades in GTM and RevOps, and I’ve seen brilliant people burn out in six months because they tried to be the "department of Yes." They became the company’s favorite screwdriver, but the revenue engine stayed broken. The most senior move you can make is saying "No" to the noise so you can say "Yes" to the foundation. I call this the RevOps Charter. RevOps Charter: A grounded, non-negotiable boundary-setting document Here is how I break it down: 1. What We OWN (The Foundation) - The Tech Stack: We decide what tools stay and what go. No "shadow IT" spreadsheets. - Data Integrity: If it’s not in the CRM, it didn’t happen. We own the "Truth." - The Comp Plan Engine: We ensure the math works and people get paid accurately. 2. What We INFLUENCE (The Bridge) - GTM Strategy: We don't set the targets, but we tell the CRO if the targets are mathematically impossible based on current conversion rates. - Hiring Capacity: We provide the data on when to hire the next pod, but we don't interview the SDRs. - Sales Enablement: We provide the "what" (the data), you provide the "how" (the training). 3. What We DON’T TOUCH (The Focus) - Lead Generation: We track the leads; we don't write the ads. - Closing Deals: We fix the friction in the contract process, but we aren't jumping on every demo to "help close." - Technical Support: We aren't the IT help desk for your broken laptop. Why this is needed: When you define these boundaries, you give your team the air cover to actually think. You move from reactive fire-fighting to proactive architecture. Your CEO doesn't need another person to fix a broken report; they need someone to tell them why the pipeline velocity is dropping. Don't be afraid of the word "No." It’s the only way to build a "Yes" that actually scales.

Another incredible GTM masterclass just dropped this morning... It was an absolute honor to have Sam Berg from Tennr on the vibescaling pod this week. We covered a lot of ground in this episode, including: ➡️ Why discipline and curiosity matter more than talent (and how he actually tests for them in interviews) ➡️ His sales interview philosophy: preparation over polish ➡️ The competency framework he built to promote SDRs into enterprise reps ➡️ Why great sellers sound calm by using trust signals ➡️ Transparency breaks patterns - how setting negotiation guardrails builds trust ➡️ Why he avoids words like "deal" and "feedback" and how language subtly shapes buyer behavior ➡️ How to find the real urgency that accelerates enterprise deals ➡️ Why creating context beats jumping to discovery ➡️ Why competition fuels the best sales teams pushing to out-execute each other Give it a watch; link in the comments!
