Zach Noyer liked thisZach Noyer liked thisWhen AI agents discover products and complete purchases on a buyer’s behalf, questions emerge about what's needed through every step of the transaction to make this work. Our Head of Product, Andrew Lambert, is exploring these questions at Money20/20 next month with Kaitlin Moran from Visa, John Piazza from Stripe, and Michelle Beyo from FINAVATOR INC. Through tracing an agent-initiated transaction from start to finish, they’re examining where shared standards for identity, trust, and compliance still need to evolve. Zach Noyer liked thisZach Noyer liked this"End of an era" as someone put it the other day. After 5.5 incredible years, I've said my goodbyes at Cross River. When I walked in the door, there was no #FinanceTransformation team -- just a blank canvas, a mandate, and a vision. What followed was one of the most rewarding chapters of my career: building a function from the ground up, betting big on Pigment, onboarding Preql AI, deploying Cross River's first AI agent, and proving that Finance can lead digital transformation, not just support it. But the tools and platforms aren't what I'll remember most. It's the #people. The team that carried transformation on their backs. The colleagues who challenged me, trusted me, and made me better. A legal colleague once called me the "plumber" -- I wore it as a badge of honor. Building pipes so data could flow the right way was never glamorous, but it mattered. To everyone at Cross River -- thank you. For the early mornings, the late nights, the offsite at #CitiField, the #WestPoint obstacle course, and every quarterly Tidbits newsletter I got to write. You gave me more than a role. You gave me a story worth telling. I'm excited about what's next. More to share soon. But the message hasn't changed: #LetsKeepBuilding.

Zach Noyer liked thisZach Noyer liked thisComing out of Yom Kippur, I’ve been thinking about how important it is to make time to reflect. Yom Kippur has always been an important day for me and my family. It’s a chance to look back on the past year, appreciate what went well, recognize where there’s room to grow, and think about the person you want to continue becoming. For me, that’s what resonates most. No matter where we are in life, there’s always an opportunity to grow. To be a better husband, dad, friend, son, brother and person, and to keep getting a little better every year. Life moves fast, especially with two young kids, and Yom Kippur is a good reminder to slow down, reflect, appreciate what matters most, and keep striving to grow. And after a full day of fasting, I can also confirm that gratitude for food was pretty high on the list. Wishing everyone who observed a meaningful and healthy new year.

One small change I’d make to a lot of payments job ads: Be more specific than “payments”. I saw a Product Manager (Payments) role today. Reading the brief, it was really a Product Manager for merchant payments, processing, settlement and billing. That distinction matters. Someone from issuing, NPP, fraud or cross-border payments may have years of payments experience and still be nowhere near the person you need. The payments market is too specialised now for “payments” to do all the work. A more specific title will usually get you a more relevant response.
