Josh Elmore shared this94% less time spent on post-interview documentation. I’m incredibly proud of that number, but I’m even more proud of what my team gets to do with the time we’re giving back to them. At Zoom, we hire more than a thousand people a year across 30+ countries. Our recruiters are balancing candidate conversations, hiring manager partnerships, debriefs, offers, and everything else that comes with keeping hiring moving. We knew there had to be a better way than spending nearly 18 minutes after every screen documenting what had just happened. With BrightHire, that’s now under a minute. Feedback that used to take more than two days can be ready within minutes, and we’re forecasting $120K in annual savings from recruiter screen documentation time alone. But for me, this has always been about more than efficiency. I want our recruiters to have the time and space to be great recruiters. To be present with candidates, ask the extra question, build relationships, and be strong partners to the business. We’ve learned a lot getting here, from how we integrated BrightHire with Paradox and Workday to how we approached the rollout with our recruiting team before expanding more broadly. And now there’s an even bigger opportunity ahead. With BrightHire part of Zoom, our TA team gets to be right in the middle of what we can build together. We can put new ideas into practice at Zoom scale, learn directly from our recruiters, interviewers, and candidates, and bring those learnings back to the teams building what comes next. That’s a pretty exciting position to be in, and I’m proud our team gets to play a role in it. 💙 Really excited to share more about what we’ve learned so far and where Zoom and BrightHire are headed together. 👇 https://lnkd.in/grvk_Veh #TalentAcquisition #AI #CandidateExperience

Josh Elmore shared thisApplication volume is growing faster than recruiting teams can reasonably keep up with. For years, that's meant making a difficult tradeoff at the top of the funnel — recruiters can only review so many applications and fit so many first-round conversations into their calendars. AI interviews are creating another option. A candidate can complete a structured, two-way first-round interview on their own time. The AI asks questions and follows up based on their responses, giving the recruiting team more information to review before deciding who should move forward. That creates the potential to consider more candidates without simply asking recruiters to conduct more screens. But how teams implement this matters just as much as the technology itself. Interview design, calibration, candidate communication, and keeping people accountable for hiring decisions all shape whether the experience actually works. Our BrightHire team recently brought together lessons from TA leaders at HubSpot, SAP, AEMO, Steer, Overjet, Included Health, The N2 Company, Axon, and others in a new AI Interview Playbook. It's a thoughtful look at how teams are approaching a new kind of first round — and what they've learned by putting it into practice. I'll link the playbook in the comments. 👇 #TalentAcquisition #AIRecruiting #FutureOfWork #HiringInnovation Zoom

Josh Elmore reposted thisJosh Elmore reposted thisThe strongest defense against candidate fraud isn't one tool. It's a process. As AI makes fraud more sophisticated, hiring teams are rethinking where and how they look for signals. In our latest webinar, Benjamin Sesser (BrightHire), Josh Elmore (Zoom), Joshua R. Fattal (Morrison Foerster), and Meric Craig Bloch (Compliance & Ethics at Fordham Law) shared practical advice for building a hiring process that's both harder to fool and fair to candidates. Here are five tips worth taking back to your team: ✔️ Look for signals throughout the hiring journey, not just at one stage ✔️ Give recruiters and interviewers a shared playbook for spotting red flags ✔️ Investigate before making a decision ✔️ Ask questions that uncover real experience ✔️ Protect candidate privacy while strengthening your defenses 📽️ Catch the full conversation and dive into our recap below.

Josh Elmore shared this🚨 Hiring teams, this one's for you. Candidate fraud isn't a future problem — it's happening right now, in your pipeline, possibly in your next interview. Deepfakes. Synthetic identities. AI-assisted cheating. The tactics are getting more sophisticated, and the stakes have never been higher — we're talking monetary losses, stolen IP, data breaches, and even sanctions violations. So what does a smart, legal, and effective response actually look like? We broke it all down in a webinar last Wednesday (July 1): 🎯 The Rising Risk of Candidate Fraud — and How Hiring Teams Are Responding Here's a snapshot of what the BrightHire team, Joshua R. Fattal, Meric Craig Bloch and I covered: - Where fraud is showing up today — and why the live interview has become ground zero - The real organizational risks hiding in your hiring process - How to navigate an evolving legal landscape around fraud detection and biometric data - The signals that matter at every stage — and how to layer them into your process - Where candidate fraud is headed next as the technology keeps advancing If you are in talent acquisition, HR, legal, or security and missed the session, you can still catch up. 👉 Watch the replay here: https://lnkd.in/gEDRcH8Z #Hiring #TalentAcquisition #CandidateFraud #HR #Recruiting #AIInHiring #BrightHire ZoomWebinar - The Rising Risk of Candidate Fraud and How Hiring Teams are RespondingWebinar - The Rising Risk of Candidate Fraud and How Hiring Teams are Responding

Josh Elmore shared thisFraud in hiring is no longer a fringe issue — it's an enterprise security threat. Deepfakes, proxy interviewers, AI-assisted cheating, identity fraud. It's accelerating fast and the existing tools don't go far enough. BrightHire just changed that. 💪 Fraud detection is now built directly into the interview process — from AI screening through live interviews — with signals, evidence, and cumulative views across every candidate. No separate tools, no new workflows. 🛡️ For Zoom clients, this includes proprietary deepfake, identity, and device signals built on Zoom's own R&D. A real example of the platform advantage at work. Full details in the original post below. 👇 Worth a read if hiring integrity is on your radar — which it should be.Josh Elmore shared this🚨 Today we're launching fraud detection built directly into interviews on BrightHire — tackling a massive challenge facing our clients 💪 Hiring has become a battleground for enterprise security. Not just candidates fudging credentials, but real bad actors looking to infiltrate organizations to funnel money, gain data access, and more. This looks like: 🔴 AI-assisted cheating 🔴 Deepfakes 🔴 Proxy interviewers 🔴 Identity fraud And it's only getting higher velocity and more sophisticated. There are other tools to sift out fraud — but they have real gaps and don't touch live interviews — which contain rich context to ID signs of fraud. So we're embedding detection into BrightHire across the entire interview journey, from AI screening through live interviews, all in one place. 🛡️ This means: 🛡️ Cheating, deepfake, and other session signals in AI interviews 🛡️ Deepfake and proprietary signals in live interviews 🛡️ Every alert is tied back to evidence to investigate 🛡️ Cumulative signals across every candidate and aggregate views 🛡️ No separate tools, no new workflows 🟦 For Zoom clients, we'll be delivering proprietary signals for deepfake, identity, device, etc., built on the incredible R&D work of our colleagues. This is an early example of 1 + 1 = 5 as we harness the power of the company's broader tech capabilities to accelerate our roadmap! Stoked for what it means for our clients' ability to focus more on simply hiring great talent - can't wait to get this in their hands! More details in the comments. 👇 PS: Super PROUD of the incredible work of our internal team - Andrew Price, Hazy Sandoval, Dan Dofter, David Ganzhorn, Camila Grizio, Chris Selden, and Amanda Etheridge and team 🙏 LFG! 🔥

Josh Elmore shared thisZoom just launched ZoomMate today — and as someone deep in HR tech and talent ops, this caught my attention. The gap between "we aligned in the meeting" and "it actually got done" is where so much TA and PX work gets lost. ZoomMate is built to close that gap — connecting meeting context directly to the systems we live in: Workday, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Slack, and more. Agentic search. Automated follow-through. Finished deliverables — without switching tools. For talent and people ops leaders thinking about AI enablement and process efficiency, the orchestration layer is where the real value is. This is worth watching. Josh Elmore liked thisJosh Elmore liked thisWe’ve got a busy fall ahead, and we kicked it off in a pretty special way in NYC. 🗽 On Sunday, we brought together a small group of talent leaders for a private after-hours tour of The Museum of Modern Art, followed by dinner at The Modern. 🖼️ Having one of the world’s most iconic museums nearly to ourselves was pretty special. But getting this group together was even better. We had leaders travel from near and far to join us, and somewhere between Dalí, Chagall, and delicious food, we inevitably got into what everyone is working through right now, including how some of the world’s largest companies are starting to embrace a more agentic way of working. Huge thanks to Ilka Sagner-David (SAP), Rob Devlin (Synopsys Inc), Ben Lopez (Workiva), and Kevin DAprile, PHR (SAP) for spending your Sunday night with us, and to Theodore Chestnut for hosting! And we’re just getting started! This week, we’ll be in Boston for dinner with Workvivo by Zoom during RecOps Con and Austin for our next Shine Dinner. ✈️ Then October takes us to London, back to NYC for our Shine Executive Summit, LA, Chicago for dinner with tofu + RecOps and Orlando for Gartner ReimagineHR. 👋 If we’re headed your way, we’d love to see you. Check out everything that’s happening and sign up below to join us!

Josh Elmore liked thisJosh Elmore liked thisI fired my graphics designer today. Why? Because I can do their job now. (I actually was my own graphics designer because I never had the budget to hire a real one…so I fired myself) I’m not a graphic designer or an animator by any means. I suck at it. But today I took my updated Tattooed Nerd logos, uploaded them into Google Flow, and described what I wanted: molten gold, flowing fire, metallic textures, and embers revealing the logo. Minutes later, I had a video bumper that was way better than anything I could have made myself. Something that could have taken weeks of briefs, back-and-forth, and revisions was suddenly something I could experiment with in an hour. That’s the power of AI for marketing. My production value no longer has to be limited by my ability to operate design software. I can have an idea, describe it, see it, and refine it. And that gives me more time to do the work I’m better at: writing better copy, telling better stories, and producing content people actually want to watch. There’s still a skill to learn here. The more specific I get about the lighting, movement, texture, and timing, the closer the result gets to what I imagined. “Make me a cool logo” only gets you so far. A better writer is going to be inherently a better designer now. There’s almost no limit to what you can bring to life if you can master the prompt. AI may replace crappy designers, but think how much faster and cooler great designers will be? PS…What do you think about the new Logo?

Josh Elmore liked thisWelcome to Zoom. I was excited to share the news during my keynote speech at HumanX today. It is an exciting journey ahead - from Conversation to Context to Completion!Josh Elmore liked thisSome 𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗘 news today for Onyx AI: we are joining Zoom! We couldn’t be more excited about the alignment and the potential for what Onyx and Zoom can be together. The most important thing first, customers will continue to receive the 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 by the 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 but now with far more resources and the full support of an incredible public company. Zoom is transitioning to becoming not only the place where discussions happen, but taking that all the way through to completed work. They are all-in on the context layer so that agents have the necessary knowledge to choose the right actions. By connecting over 50 different apps and serving the right knowledge on demand, Onyx provides the context that enables Zoom to take conversations to completion. As a founder, I’m also extremely excited about Zoom’s position on the market. As a market-leader in the meeting space, Zoom is one of the few dominant sources of organizational ground truth. This will uniquely enable Onyx by Zoom to build a better product together that also leverages all of the knowledge locked in Zoom’s ecosystem which no other product can search today. Zoom is also putting developers first with their new announcement of Zoom AI Services. The whole org is embracing the open source community and Onyx will be spearheading the growth of Zoom’s presence in OSS. I couldn’t be more thrilled for the continuation of this amazing journey and to bring an even more amazing product to our users.

Your Applicant Tracking System may be shaping hiring outcomes more than your recruiting team realizes. So how do employers choose the right ATS? There’s no one-size-fits-all solution. The best systems align with your organization’s size, hiring volume, budget, and HRIS integration needs. Based on these factors, MEA’s Senior Recruiter, Nicole Bennett, SHRM-SCP, frequently recommends platforms such as: - JazzHR - Greenhouse - Taleo - Workable - ATS On Demand 🔗 Read the full blog to see how AI, ATS platforms, and job boards are shaping the modern candidate funnel: https://lnkd.in/egaw9VjZ #CandidateFunnel #ModernHiring #TalentAcquisition #HRTech #ApplicantTrackingSystem #HiringStrategy
