Today marks seven years at
Zoox!
First and foremost, thank you. Thank you to the Zoox crew for your hard work and dedication. Without you, Zoox wouldn’t exist. Thank you to Jesse for another year of partnership and camaraderie. Thank you to our partners at Amazon for your continued support and belief in our mission. Thank you to the leaders, regulators, and communities who trusted us to bring Zoox to their streets. And thank you to YOU - our followers and believers, for your excitement and encouragement.
2025 was an important year for Zoox. We launched our service in Las Vegas. We expanded our geofence across the Mission, SoMa, and the Design District in SF and welcomed thousands of early riders off the waitlist through our Zoox Explorers program. We surpassed 1 million autonomous miles with our robotaxi fleet. We opened our first serial production facility in the U.S., enabling manufacturing at a meaningful scale. And we began testing in new cities, including Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C., and continued testing in Austin and Miami in preparation for robotaxi deployment this year.
But the external milestones only tell part of the story.
Behind the scenes, it was a year of iteration, adaptation, and resilience. Building a radically different vehicle, the full autonomy stack, and an end-to-end service is not the conventional path. It’s complex, and it’s challenging. This team continues to choose that challenge, and to meet it. Seeing early riders experience Zoox for the first time, their curiosity, their smiles, their sense of possibility, makes the years of effort real.
This next year will bring scale. More vehicles. More cities. More riders. It’s not going to be easy. And that’s okay. I’ve often said you have to have an almost irrational belief that it will work out. Seven years in, that belief is stronger than ever.
2026 will be the year of the Zoox robotaxi. LFG 💚
