As I paused to reflect on the last 4 years of my life this morning, I was reminded of that. In the last 4 years, I've lost 170lbs naturally thru diet and exercise, earned my MBA, started working in HR for Amazon, earned my group fitness instructor certification, and now, will begin coaching part-time as a passion project at Orangetheory Fitness to hopefully inspire and encourage those who are on, or are just beginning their journey's, to continue pushing towards their goals. Please, I implore you - Never give up on your dreams. They are within reach. You will never regret investing in yourself, I can promise you that. Always remember that you have value, you are worthy, you are cared for. I'm cheering you on! #linkedin #motivation #inspiration #mindset #growth #goals

It is the first time in my over thirty-year journey that I feel complete. I am able to breath life and do what I love, play with my food! I get to twist flavors to send my guests taste buds on a roller coaster ride! Below, FOH gave me this sample plate as my canvas - Day boat grouper/ romanesco/zucchini panels/coconut lime sriracha espuma/microgreens #localegastropub coming very soon! #chef #food

We all know a vegan is someone who doesn't eat any animal products, at all. I am NOT going down the rabbit hole of PETA and such. You have vegetarians, this is where things get cloudy. There, in layman terms those that eat dairy/eggs, fish, no red meat, no pork. Basically, it's all made up and based on marketing. Plant-based business is worth $3.3 billion! 1% of the US population identifies as being vegan, another 4% use identifies as being plant-based or vegetarian. Plant-based is supposedly the cleanest form of vegetarianism. One author defines vegetarians as those that eat processed snacks and such whereas plant-based eat only whole grains. The bottom line is this, plant-based or vegetarianism is a lot healthier for some. It comes down to what do your products have in them? If you need a degree in nuclear science to understand the label, step away! Eat healthy, eat full flavors and good fats in moderation. The more color on your plate, the more appealing to your eye but most of all your tastebuds! #flavors #vegetarian #eat #healthiere #plantbased Maybe, paleo and keep are the reason we ow.have a new term - plant-based!

When a reporter asked him how he has been able to become one of the most prolific scorers in the NBA, here are 3 things he said: 1. You can’t expect to be the best unless you put in the work. You have have to work at it every single day. 2. You gotta fall in love with the everyday process. 3. You have to master the game and try to be the best. Do it big!
