Jon Veschio shared thisAI exhaustion is real. But what if you could use real, practical AI to actually build and deploy the exact solutions you need in YOUR warehouse? No IT. No vendor quote. Learn more about our Warehouse AI platform and see real solutions, saving real money for our customers. https://lnkd.in/dzfxcTSWJon Veschio shared thisAs I wrap up a great NASCES event in Las Vegas where we announced AutoScheduler.AI's AI Application Builder, I wanted to share some thoughts about "software standardization", which were triggered by an enlightening session Matt Algar gave with Frederic Laluyaux on building out a framework for decision intelligence. Specifically, it is critical for food & beverage organizations, CPGs, retailers, and 3PLs to not sacrifice the details of their operations in the pursuit of standardization. When you go into sites with "standardized" software, the most frequent tools in use are Excel, PowerBI, Macros, and whiteboards. One of the great powers that AI brings to the world is nearly infinite customization, so being able to standardize AI platforms for unique decision making processes, tribal governance, and continuity of service is going to be one of the next key debates in supply chain technology organizations. We're helping some of the largest organizations on the planet do that today, and our team would be happy to help if you're interested in learning more about Warehouse AI.

Jon Veschio shared thisMeet AutoScheduler Warehouse AI! Unlike Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini by themselves, our Warehouse AI App Builder understands to your inventory, inbound, outbound, trailer, and historical data, learns how the site operates, and builds and tests applications to inform and automate decision making. No waiting on IT or vendor roadmaps. See how it works here: https://lnkd.in/dzfxcTSW From one of our customers: “The AutoScheduler App Builder feature is one of the best integrations of software and AI that I’ve seen so far. It gives business users the power to create applications that turn data into meaningful visuals and insights, helping people make better and faster decisions.” - Transportation Supply Chain Leader · Global Food and Beverage Manufacturer Contact our team to learn more here! https://lnkd.in/d6JrHczSJon Veschio shared thisWalk into almost any warehouse, even in the age of automation and AI, and you'll find teams running the operation on Excel spreadsheets, emails, BI dashboards, and elbow grease. Why? Is a question we haven't asked enough. Turns out, most warehouses look the same, but minor nuance about the facility are the things that separate operational success & failure. The software in place today (ERP, WMS, WES, YMS, LMS) doesn't do everything sites need to make decisions quickly, so they adapt with the tools they know (i.e. Spreadsheets). At AutoScheduler, we ran into these nuances so many times that instead of building infinite configurability into our platform (a parameter here, a setting there), we built Warehouse AI, which I'm happy to see our team launch today. Unlike Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini by themselves, Our Warehouse AI App Builder understands your inventory, inbound, outbound, trailer, and historical data, learns how the site operates, and builds and tests applications to inform and automate decision making. Moving forward, I expect to see warehousing teams investing in Warehouse AI to layer on top of the WMS and other data so that continuous improvement teams and site leaders can deliver exactly what they need to attune for the nuance of every specific facility. Kudos to the AutoScheduler.AI team on the launch, and thanks to our early customers who have already built and scaled over 300!! applications on top of the platform. Jon Veschio liked thisJon Veschio liked thisOne under-appreciated part of working in logistics: people show up to meetings on time. It's not just out of "polite-ness", though. Our whole industry runs on appointments. A truck that misses its slot doesn't just lose 30 minutes, it pushes back every load behind it (or spends the next 7 hours trying to find an open window where they can be worked in). When that's the environment you operate in, you prioritize timeliness. The upcoming peak season is the biggest "can't miss" window of the year. Labor decisions like how many temps to bring on, when they start, and how much overtime you can handle get made long before the volume shows up, and they're often based on a pretty rickety forecast. Then the forecast changes... and the plan doesn't. Here's a peak labor optimizer I was able to build in a few hours using AutoScheduler.AI's Warehouse AI platform. It uses a site's data and hiring rules to weigh base headcount against temps and overtime, continuously optimizing for service & cost. If you want to try this out before peak is all of the way here, reach out.

Jon Veschio liked thisJon Veschio liked thisOn Monday we launched the AutoScheduler.AI AI App Builder, and I want to explain it the way I'd explain it to a shift lead, not a press release. Warehouse teams live in a gap. On one side, canned WMS reports that are never quite the view you need. On the other, a BI backlog that's six weeks deep. So the real questions get answered in Excel and gut feel: Where should this SKU live? How many people do I need Thursday? Which loads should go to a belt door? The AI App Builder closes that gap. You type what you need in plain English. AI agents plan it, check it against the data that actually exists in your building, and build it. You watch it happen. A few minutes later you have a live app on 50+ warehouse data collections, scoped to the sites you're allowed to see. Then you change it by chatting. Then you share it. Then another site copies it. The line on our landing page says it better than I can: The people who see the problem can now build the solution. If you have a spreadsheet your team can't live without, bring it. We'll show you what it looks like as an app. https://lnkd.in/ekQZMPZ3

Starmark Pet Products spent three decades building a real training academy and a manufacturing operation that over 7,000 retailers' trust. Expanding on eCommerce meant finding a partner who could actually hold the inventory, pick and pack orders same day or next day, and report back on how it's performing. Jon Veschio liked thisAutoScheduler.AI has launched an AI App Builder that lets warehouse teams basically build their own applications on top of their existing WMS and warehouse data. Apparently customers have already built 300+ apps in the limited release. Things like labour planning, trailer dwell, replenishment, load sequencing, shift handovers, inventory flow etc. And I think the interesting bit here is actually how catered to the specificity of warehouses it is... There are so many tiny problems in an operation that are too niche to justify buying another system for, but still cause enough pain that someone ends up building an Excel sheet or some slightly rogue internal workaround. Now the people actually running the warehouse can potentially just build something for it. Also interesting that AutoScheduler isn’t trying to replace the WMS here. It sits on top of it, reads from the existing systems and adds that extra layer. Very curious to see how much freedom warehouse operators actually get with this. Because 300+ applications before the full launch is already quite a lot… #newproduct #wms #autoscheduler #ai

Automation, AI, robotics - those transformations matter. But there's something about maximizing what you already own that hits different. Finding capacity in "full" warehouses. Squeezing margin from existing operations. Turning wasted cubic feet into profit. I recently came across a furniture importer bleeding $3-5M annually in demurrage charges. Containers sat at the port costing thousands daily while their warehouse stayed "full." The obvious move: Lease more space or expand the building. But instead, they looked inward. By redesigning their storage layout and switching to high-density racking, they found 70% more capacity in the same four walls. Payback: under one year. Stephen (Steve) T. Hopper, P.E., founder of Inviscid Consulting and the operator that executed this project - spoke to me in extreme detail about their work: Steve shared: 🔸 Why most capacity problems aren't actually space problems 🔸 Four storage methods that doubled their density 🔸 The $125K mistake that nearly ruined everything 🔸 8 lessons you can apply to your own operation If you're a supply chain or warehouse operator dealing with capacity constraints - this case study shows you a cheaper path than expansion. — 👋 Hit "Visit my website" under my name for the full article.

"People think of robots as a hardware category, but robots are the thing that creates every other hardware category." In a conversation with Primary Venture Partners's Jason Shuman, Standard Bots CEO Evan Beard made the case for why building robots in America matters. Robots build capacity: for jobs, for businesses, for supply chains. Building them here is not just about balance of trade. It's better for the environment and better for national security.

We at Fishbowl are very proud to launch the first agentic #AI solution for manufacturing for small and medium businesses. It features Juno, the digital assistant, performing the work that planners, buyers, and production leads typically handle before manufacturing. Working directly with live data including orders, inventory, bills of materials, and vendor lead times, Juno evaluates if jobs are ready to run and drafts the next set of orders teams need to review and approved. According to Brian Garrett, Telluric Companies, “Juno saves me at least 45 minutes per purchase order.” And Brent Sanders, Coastline Chemical: Antifreeze Bottling Company, says, “This will let me do the parts of my job I actually want to do, it’ll let me help grow the company rather than just sitting at the computer.” #supplychainmanagement #AIforbusiness #SMB #inventorymanagement #supplychainoptimization #manufacturing #AIforManufacturing #AIforSupplyChainManagement https://lnkd.in/e6MNJyBT

Not every company fits the SPAC model and that’s a good thing. In this clip, Patrick Sturgeon explains what types of companies are best suited to go public through a SPAC. Strong fundamentals still lead: a great product, consistent growth, and healthy margins. What does it take to maintain two production apps with 500,000+ daily users? For the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, it takes Expo and a surprisingly lean team. Most people think scaling mobile apps requires scaling teams proportionally. But the MTA proves otherwise. They're running critical transit infrastructure for North America's largest public transportation network with: ✅ Fast OTA updates for rapid bug fixes ✅ Reliable native builds via EAS Build ✅ One codebase serving hundreds of thousands of riders daily The key? Modern tooling that eliminates the traditional mobile development bottlenecks: No waiting days for app store reviews on critical fixes No managing complex CI/CD pipelines from scratch No separate iOS and Android specialist teams Their developers ship updates measured in hours, not weeks. That velocity matters when you're serving real-time transit data to commuters who depend on accuracy. This is what efficient mobile development looks like at scale. Akron- and New York-based Harmoni has raised $10M in Series A funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners, while unveiling HAL, its new context-aware AI for frontline manufacturing. Founded by David Caputo and Adam Ellis, Harmoni is building a Factory Orchestration layer that connects operators, machines, ERP systems, engineering data and production workflows. HAL sits on top of that live context, helping teams understand requirements, diagnose issues, identify risks and decide what to do next directly at the point of production. Harmoni says its automation already gives operators 200+ hours of productive time back per year by reducing administrative and non-productive work. The new funding will accelerate HAL, product development, team growth and go-to-market expansion. Harmoni’s edge is not adding AI beside the factory floor. It is giving AI the operational context of the job, machine, process and engineering requirements already in motion. Congratulations to the Harmoni team on bringing AI closer to production.
