Justin Harrod reposted thisJustin Harrod reposted thisMost fans see game day. Sharon Erwin sees everything it takes to pay for it. Today we’re sharing the story of how the Denver Broncos Football Club finance team rebuilt the work behind an NFL season with Ramp. CFO Justin Webster, Sharon, and their team have taken more than 80 hours of manual work out of each month. But the detail we keep coming back to is what happens after work: Sharon can go home without reopening her laptop every evening. That’s the kind of change I’m proud to help tell. Huge thanks to the Broncos team and to Chris Witmer, Tyler Ford, Mason Melnick, Sam Buck, Guy Cartwright, Mike Speyer, and Justin Harrod (to name a few!) for bringing this story and partnership to life. Justin Harrod reposted thisJustin Harrod reposted thisWe’re excited to welcome Ramp as an official partner of Los Angeles Golf Club. “TGL represents the future of professional sports, and Los Angeles Golf Club represents what a modern team can be,” said Mason Melnick, Sports Partnerships at Ramp. “LAGC isn’t just competing in a new league, it’s being built with the same principles we see in high-performing companies every day. That made this partnership feel authentic from the start.” More than a traditional sponsorship, the Ramp and LAGC partnership is built on shared values and real-world experience. “This partnership is exactly how it should be done,” said Neal Hubman, President of Los Angeles Golf Club. “We’re aligned on values and leadership, and to top it all off, we’ve been Ramp customers since the very beginning.”

Here's the positives: - Working on amazing brands like Stiller's Soda (if you haven't seen the new spot with Katz Deli + New York Nico you are MISSING OUT). - Growing a San Diego brand (San Diego Talks) from 0 to 160,000 followers and 70M+ views in one year. - Choosing which projects I want to work on - Becoming a creator partner to my hometown team (GO PADS) - Less dumb corporate meetings - Becoming more confident with making decisions and leading. Here's the hardship: - I run everything (finances, taxes, schedule, inbound, outbound, marketing) - Nothing is guaranteed or cushy like corporate America - I have to be self disciplined to keep everything running - you spend soooo much time alone :/ You can always go back to jobs like the one you have right now. The jobs where people question your ideas and leadership due to insecurities. Wouldn't you rather own your destiny... Stoked for Year 2!

Justin Harrod liked thisWinning teams need great teams behind them. The Denver Broncos’ finance organization supports a multi-billion-dollar business spanning five entities—with an accounts payable team of one. Proud that Ramp helps give their finance and back-office teams more time to focus on the work that moves the organization forward. Even prouder to support the people behind the team—and help tell their story. Every sports partnership looks different, but our mission remains the same: helping teams save their two most valuable resources—time and money. Who's on first? MLB. Always. First league to partner with DraftKings in 2015. First of the Big Four to officially partner with a prediction market today — naming Polymarket its exclusive exchange. This is legitimately great for the industry. League partnerships bring credibility and distribution that prediction markets need right now. But let's not confuse a deal with conviction. Today's deal includes a clause voiding the partnership if courts rule prediction markets violate state law. MLB is smartly playing both sides. #cftc #polymarket #kalshi #mlb

This is true at every level, not just elite partnerships. The infrastructure point is the one that gets skipped in every conversation about the growth of women's sport. Visibility and investment are the exciting headlines. But without the operational layer underneath — the data, the systems, the rigor — none of it converts into something that lasts. We're seeing the grassroots version of this every day. Clubs with growing audiences and real community support, but no infrastructure to prove it, measure it, or build on it. The visibility is there. The operations to capture its value are not. "Rigor, without rigidity" is exactly right. That's the gap we're trying to close. #WomensSport #SportsPartnerships #BrandOperations #WeAreWhatWeView #Nettie

Communications is becoming part of the investment thesis in sports. As capital pours into teams, leagues, media, technology and other sports assets, reputation increasingly affects how value is created, protected, and realized. That’s the opportunity we’re building around at Prosek —advising owners, investors, operators, brands, and athletes across transactions, reputation, sponsorships, executive positioning, crisis, and growth. Our job: Help clients unlock, protect and multiply value through reputation. Enjoyed discussing where #SportsBusiness is heading and why communications increasingly belongs at the center of the strategy.
