Kay Madati liked thisExcited to share that I'm joining DataLoom as a Strategic Advisor! After two decades working in the Data Science, AI & Analytics space, I've learned that the companies who win are the ones who turn complex data into clear, commercial value — not just dashboards, but decisions. That's exactly what drew me to DataLoom. They're building AI-powered data capabilities to help businesses navigate climate resilience — one of the defining challenges of our time — and doing it with real ambition on a global scale. A big part of the draw is Ashleigh Adair, a true trailblazer, and someone who's assembled a genuinely stellar team around her. It's awesome to see this level of talent moving in the same direction with this much conviction. Aotearoa New Zealand has long punched above its weight when it comes to leading the way on climate and sustainability, and it's exciting to see another mighty Kiwi-backed start-up making a meaningful impact in this space. I'm looking forward to working alongside this team as they bring these technologies to businesses worldwide. Graeme Merrall Kathryn Hempstalk Rikki Stancich Charles Hett Corinne McLean Big things ahead. #DataLoom #ClimateResilience #DataStrategy #AIKay Madati liked thisA big welcome to Melissa (Mel) Furze who has joined DataLoom as a Strategic Advisor! Mel is a seasoned global data and analytics executive with over two decades of leadership experience spanning data strategy, AI and customer insights. Since she specialises in building AI-powered data organisations that translate complex data into tangible commercial value, it's no coincidence that we were drawn to each other. In her own words, "What excites me about DataLoom is the work they are doing to translate deep, complex data into real commercial impact - especially in a space as urgent as climate resilience. I've spent my career helping organizations unlock value with AI-powered data capabilities, and it's rare to find a start-up moving this fast with this much purpose. I'm looking forward to being part of that journey." And with her epic international experience and connections, she joins us at an exciting time in our start-up journey, as we look to bring our climate resilience technologies to businesses all around the world. 🌏 Welcome to the team, Mel! #ClimateResilience #SustainableBusiness #AIforEarth #DecisionIntelligence Ashleigh Adair, Graeme Merrall, Kathryn Hempstalk

Kay Madati liked thisKay Madati liked thisSome of my favorite professional relationships started as business and became something more. I've know Suzy Jurist for more than 20 years. Her agency, SJI Associates, has been my creative and strategic partner at AMC Global Media, Comcast / TV One, CBS Radio, and Clear Channel Outdoor. Across our four companies and countless campaigns, she and her team have been the ones I could call when the work had to be great, and the timeline was impossible. Somewhere along the way, a partner became a friend. Suzy was in Chicago last week, and we caught up over breakfast @Doveschicago -- lots of laughs, great food, and the kind of conversaton you only get with someone who's been in the trenches with you. She beat me to the posting about it (of course, she did 🥰 ), so consider this my fashionably late -- but heartfelt -- follow up! To everyone building careers right now: the people you work alongside, whether they're inside your organization or not, are your network, your support system, and sometimes your lifelong friends. Treat them that way Suzy Jurist, thank you for two decades of brilliance and friendship! Here's to the next 20! 🥂

Kay Madati liked thisKay Madati liked thisI attended my first Future Proof Festival, and it did not disappoint. It was extra special because my daughter Maggie attended and got to learn about wealth management and experience the energy of Future Proof. Allspring showed up big with great booth that provided tailored sessions that touched on investment solutions, customization, tax and future client needs. I also had the chance to join a panel discussion about what wealth and asset management might look like in 2030. We talked about artificial intelligence, personalization, and what clients will expect from us in the years ahead. Technology is changing quickly, but I don't think the goal has changed much. People still want advice they can trust and solutions that make their lives easier. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Allspring Global Investments booth and spent time with our team, and thank you to the Future Proof organizers for another great event. I'm already looking forward to next year.

Kay Madati liked thisKay Madati liked thisPeople have asked if I'm retired, semi-retired, if I peaked, or if I miss being "in it." Negative to all is my answer. I worked nearly 30 years in a business I loved and for some great leaders and a few terrible ones. Those terrible ones taught me something valuable. That I never wanted to have to work for people like them ever again. :-) So I made a choice. Instead of five-star vacations and lavish homes, I built just enough to buy freedom. And that choice required sacrifices. Real ones. Some I still question but none that I regret. I optimized for freedom at 50, not wealth. Yet, I'm working harder than I ever have. BUT loving every minute of this less-than-lucrative thing. I'm free from work that drains me and people who suck the joy out of the journey. I get to choose the projects, the partners, the path. I try to pass on some wisdom of this path - some don't care to hear. Yet some do. Understanding what you're optimizing for opens up opportunities you never thought existed. It's an unlock that you didn't think you needed. What are you optimizing for? LMK if I can help you define it. Vamos / Let's Go!

Kay Madati liked thisKay Madati liked thisToday I'm officially joining Waabi as VP of Marketing and Communications. I spent the last three years at Aurora, where I developed a real passion for autonomy and worked with some of the most talented people in the industry. I'm grateful for both. I started my career in automotive at Toyota and then spent more than a decade building technology brands at Meta and Snap. Autonomy brings those two worlds together, and it's the work I'm pumped to continue doing. I came here because I believe Physical AI is an intelligence problem, and that Waabi's approach is built to transfer: in trucking first, robotaxis next. The technology is further along than most people realize, and I'm excited to help change that. If you're thinking about how to scale AI in the physical world, I'd love to connect. And we're hiring across the company. Let's get to work!

Thrilled to join Heather Holst-Knudsen on The Revenue Room™ Podcast and grateful for such a thoughtful conversation about leadership in an era where disruption is no longer an event, it’s the operating environment. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of helping teams navigate moments when the future wasn’t yet proven — from cable challenging broadcast, to the rise of fandom-driven engagement, to launching Peacock’s ad-supported streaming business with nothing but vision, belief, and extraordinary teams willing to build what didn’t yet exist. One lesson continues to hold true: Transformation doesn’t happen because markets change. It happens because leaders align people around a shared vision of what’s possible. I’m excited to continue this conversation live at RevvedUP 2026, where we’ll talk about how leaders can get comfortable being uncomfortable and thrive through continuous change. Thank you, Heather, for the conversation and for creating a community that brings revenue and growth leaders together in such a meaningful way. 🎧 Listen here: https://lnkd.in/d9v_6D-d
