The results are reshaping what our teams can achieve and how we help our customers win: 83% of our sales force uses Gemini-assisted tools weekly. This helps them unlock additional revenue opportunities for Google and for our advertisers. For example, people who use customized pitch narratives powered by AI drive up to a 20% higher win rate. Leaving the administrative friction to AI, they are reinvesting that headspace into deeper, more strategic client relationships. Our Ads Customer Support teams now address 75% of support queries with Gemini-powered agentic solutions that autonomously handle customers questions. This frees our experts to focus on our customers' most intricate problems and find new ways to serve them better. This repo teaches it for free. 14 lectures, 8 projects, 4 frontier harness breakdowns: When an agent run goes wrong, the setup around the model is usually the weak point. Anthropic tested this. Same model, same prompt, two runs. A solo agent run cost $9, took 20 minutes, and produced a game that didn't work. A run with a planner, generator, and evaluator cost $200, took 6 hours, and shipped a playable game. This course teaches you to build that kind of setup yourself. You start by running one task prompt-only, then rules-first, and see the gap yourself. From there you add session handoffs, scope limits, and self-verification. By project 8 you're wiring maker-checker loops into a graph with rollback and human approval. Each project's solution becomes the next one's starter, so you watch the agent get more reliable as the harness grows. Kevin Hofstee liked thisKevin Hofstee liked thisWhen I closed my laptop on Friday evening I did more than wrap up my week… I concluded a chapter that represents almost 60% of my career. It is a surreal milestone, and I am unable to even begin to summarize such an expansive experience. All I can really express is that my time at Google (and DoubleClick before it) was an incredible journey from start to finish. I joined the company just four years after its IPO, and the luster was very real. I couldn’t wear swag out of the house without being asked about it. For all the years that followed, the pride of wearing the logo never faded. I used to tell people that even on my worst days, as I left the office and walked past those 6 primary-color letters every night, I’d think to myself, "Holy shit, I can’t believe I work here." That sentiment is a direct reflection of the culture of development that Google supported, enabling me to grow more significantly than at any other point before. It is also a testament to the amazing colleagues I got to learn from, some of whom I know are now friends for life. For the past 18.5 years it has felt like I have been going non-stop at 100 miles an hour. So my immediate plan is to take some time to refresh and recharge before figuring out what is next. This will include launching a few personal passion projects, including self-publishing a white paper on the polarized #AI media landscape (coming in the next few weeks), and working with Amplify Publishing Group to publish my upcoming book, “The Even Mind”, in 2027! To borrow a well-worn phrase from my time there, I am definitely "uncomfortably excited" about what lies ahead. But I have no doubt that Google prepared me for whatever this next chapter as a #Xoogler has in store. For that, I am eternally #grateful. #GoogleAlumni #CareerTransition #NewBeginnings

After seven years at Google, I am grateful for the problems I got to work on and the people who worked on them with me. It was a remarkable place to learn how big things get built. Why Disney? It has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. The first film my parents took me to was Return of the Jedi, in a student union theatre in Kansas. I grew up on the Disney Sunday Movie, watched The Rescuers Down Under as a kid living in Australia, and as an adult I have spent more hours on Marvel, Disney+ and Hulu than I will admit to. Now I get to work on the part that has to know who you are, keep you safe, and get out of the way so the story can start, everywhere Disney meets its fans and guests. I have wanted to work on something like this for a long time. Thank you to Bangaly Kaba and the whole Disney team for the welcome. I have a great deal to learn.

At the Deloitte Digital House, our team brought DOTi to life as a hologram: Deloitte’s AI-and-Salesforce-powered super-agent. DOTi greeted attendees, answered questions about our Salesforce collaboration and Relationship 360 app experience, and—honestly—stole the show. Fast. Smart. Camera-ready. And its dance moves may be better than mine. But the real story goes beyond the hologram. DOTi is an AI orchestrator connecting people, data, and insights across the systems our teams already use—surfacing account intelligence and uncovering who-knows-who across the firm. Behind the scenes, Agentforce provides orchestration, while Informatica and MuleSoft help deliver trusted, governed data. Together with R360’s mobile-first experience, the goal is simple: Less time searching. More time engaging with clients. And we’re only getting started. As an early pilot customer for Claudeforce, Deloitte is exploring how governed Salesforce data can be brought into Claude—helping teams spend less time hunting across tabs and more time having meaningful client conversations. Kevin Hofstee liked thisKevin Hofstee liked thisI've decided to leave Google DeepMind 🫡 Here's a quote from the message I shared with my team and collaborators: "When I joined as a full-time employee in 2018, right after finishing my PhD, it was a dream come true. For a long time, I had wanted to work at Google and to live in Switzerland (after four internships across the country!). Up to that point, I had pretty much always had a clear vision for my next career step, so when these long-term goals were suddenly fulfilled, I remember feeling a bit empty and wondering what new hill to climb next. That feeling, however, was quickly replaced by a determination to positively impact the lives of hundreds of millions of users and to produce interesting research along the way. I feel deeply grateful for having been able to contribute to this mission with all the amazing resources that Google has provided. I feel even more grateful for getting to know all of you, for the time spent together both inside and outside of work, and for getting to solve so many exciting problems as a team. Thank you! As for what's next, I will continue working on post-training but as part of a much smaller team based in Europe." In addition to my new role (that I'll share more about soon!), I'll continue working as an Adjunct Professor at Aalto University.
