Record accruals, prepaids, and depreciation; capitalize eligible assets; reverse prior entries as needed. Verify payroll: wages, taxes, benefits, and PTO accruals; remit liabilities. Review inventory, COGS, and shrinkage; write off obsolete stock. Confirm sales tax collected vs. payable and file on time. Lock prior periods to prevent changes. Then produce your Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows, and review KPIs: gross margin, operating expense ratio, DSO, and runway.
