Kimberly Nguyen reposted thisKimberly Nguyen reposted thisThe Jardin des Tuileries provided both an inspiration and setting for the show. The centuries-old park in the centre of Paris has always been a place for seeing and being seen. Unveiled on a specially-constructed set around a lily pond, the collection reflects the constant exchange of ideas that happens in a city – discovering them, absorbing them and then interpreting them. Creative Director Jonathan Anderson took his cues from water lilies and the park’s emblematic chairs, from the Dior archives, historical costume and the possibilities offered by savour-faire and fabric research, further evolving ideas he has been developing since he arrived at the House.
